  • Storing and retrieving dynamically created pdf in sql using c#

    I have been playing around with creation of pdf documents for a project that I'm working on. I would like to store the generated pdf document in a SQL database and then later be able to retrieve this pdf as well. What are some suggestions for doing this? Can the document be stored in the database without physically creating the document on the server?

    I've googled for creation of namespaces and found some very useful examples, what these examples didn't have is how do I compile and implement my created namespace on my system so I can include it from my various applications. So for example, if I create a namespace to load a config file from my application path and insert it to an array, Do i need to include the namespace on any project I use or is there a way to make it part of my environment?

  • PHP app\console wont work trying to create bundle for Symfony2

    I have installed Symfony2 on a iis 7 server with PHP 5.3.21 and everything works ok ( the php, the symphony demo page ). I try to create my own helloWorld, as the tutorial says : php app/console generate:bundle I go Start-Run-CMD and put that line of code and it gives me back this : could not open input file : app/console and before anyone asks i am in the project directory when i perform this command I put the PHP directory to the System PATH but the problem persists.

  • How can I quickly set the iPhone deployment target in Xcode?

    I was reading this great article about Base SDK and Deployment targets and decided to try it out myself. The Deployment target seems to be buried in the Build settings, and not that easy to access compared to the Base SDK target (which is right there in the General tab of the project settings). To get to the Deployment settings now I have to Get Info, go to the Build tab, then search for "Deployment". Is there a quick way to check and access the Deployment target in Xcode that I'm missing?

    As you all know the VS 2010 RC is out for MSDN subcribers. Unfortunately I guess I have the same problem as some of you, in that the company I work for wants to continue keeping our projects on VS 2008.   • Target Framework does not change in Visual Studio 2010

    When I change the target framework of any project in Visual Studio 2010 it does not actually change the System assembly references. For example if I target v2.0 and check the properties of System and System.Data I can see that they are still both v4.0. If i change the target to v3.5, System stays at v4.0 but System.Core changes to v3.5. Because of this I am truly not targeting anything except v4.0.

In Watin automation project, we are wanting to bypass the file selection window and place filename directly in text entry area - but we are not finding a way to do this. How can this be accomplished? ...or perhaps it cannot be done?

    i'm asked to implement this project and i have problems in part b which is the eval function this is the full describtion of the project You are required to implement an interpreter for mini-Haskell language. An interpreter is dened in Wikipedia as a computer program that executes, i.e. performs, instructions written in a programming language. The interpreter should be able to evaluate functions written in a special notation, which you will dene. A function is dened by: Function name Input Parameters : dened as a list of variables. The body of the function. The body of the function can be any of the following statements: a) Variable: The function may return any of the input variables. b) Arithmetic Expressions: The arithmetic expressions include input variables and addition, sub- traction, multiplication, division and modulus operations on arithmetic expressions. c) Boolean Expressions: The Boolean expressions include the ordering of arithmetic expressions (applying the relationships: <, =<, , = or =) and the anding, oring and negation of Boolean expressions. d) If-then-else statements: where the if keyword is followed by a Boolean expression. The then and else parts may be followed by any of the statements described here. e) Guarded expressions: where each case consists of a boolean expression and any of the statements described here. The expression consists of any number of cases. The rst case whose condition is true, its body should be evaluated. The guarded expression has to terminate with an otherwise case. f) Function calls: the body of the function may have a call to another function. Note that all inputs passed to the function will be of type Int. The output of the function can be of type Int or Bool. To implement the interpreter, you are required to implement the following: a) Dene a datatype for the following expressions: Variables Arithmetic expressions Boolean expressions If-then-else statements Guarded expressions Functions b) Implement the function eval which evaluates a function. It takes 3 inputs: The name of a function to be evaluated represented as a string. A list of inputs to that function. The arguments will always be of datatype Int. A list of functions. Each function is represented as instance of the datatype that you have created for functions. c) Implement the function get_type that returns the type of the function (as a string).   • Base SDK Missing? No, I fixed that. Still?!

    XCode 3.2.3 Beta does not allow building for below 3.2. I opened a project that was made in an earlier XCode. For some reason, the base SDK is reported as missing even after changing it to 4.0. Other projects from earlier XCode do not have this issue. What can I do?

  • Attached property and style missing on re adding the user control

    Hey people I've got an issue with a WPF project I'm working on, I have an items control which I add to and remove from certain user controls, these contols styles and attached properties are there on first view but when I remove and add them again the user control apears on screen but is detached from the items control attached properties and styles. Is this behaviour common and if so what is the best way to handle it? Thanks in advance
