  • 403 error after adding javascript to masterpage for sharepoint.

    I am attempting to add highslide-with-html.js from http://highslide.com/ to my masterpage. I am receiving a 403 forbidden error when I use the provided masterpage. I have placed it in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\TEMPLATE\LAYOUTS\1033. Test javascript files such as pirate.js which consists solely of alert("Arr!"); have loaded from the same directory. I have provided the code for the masterpage.   • Act on click of a button on the Nav Bar for moreNavigationController -- Can't pushviewcontroller

    Okay, here is my issue: My app has a display of categories in the tab bar at the bottom of the iPhoneOS screen. This only allows 5 categories before it presents the MORE button. I have over 25 (please do not answer this by saying: "Rethink your application...etc" -- that was rudely said before. They are food, drink, etc categories and cannot be changed). I want to allow the user to put their favorites on the home page. The Apple moreNavigationController editing system only allows 20 tab bar items to be rearranged due to space constraints on the editing page. This is not enough so i need to implement my own Editing screen. I set the rightBarButtonItem to nil and created my own. Using NSLog, i can see the "click" happens when clicking the EDIT button, but I cannot push using pushViewController. Nothing happens. I think it has something to do with the navigationController I am addressing...but i am not sure. ps: This all happens in my App Delegate which DOES act as both UITabBarControllerDelegate & UINavigationControllerDelegate. I marked it down to not using the correct navigation controller...but I am lost on how to find which one TO use. this is a weird one too. In the edit function if i just do this: - (void) editTabBar:(id)sender { self.tabBarController.selectedIndex = 0; } It DOES take me home (to tabbarcontroller 0) BUT doing this: - (void) editTabBar:(id)sender { [self.navigationController popToRootViewControllerAnimated:YES]; } does not work. Does the moreNavigationController have some special quality that screws with the rest of the system?

    Basically I'm wondering how I'm able to do what I've written in the topic. I've looked through many tutorials on AsyncTask but I can't get it to work. I have a little form (EditText) that will take what the user inputs there and make it to a url query for the application to lookup and then display the results. What I think would seem to work is something like this: In my main activity i have a string called responseBody. Then the user clicks on the search button it will go to my search function and from there call the GrabUrl method with the url which will start the asyncdata and when that process is finished the onPostExecute method will use the function activity.this.setResponseBody(content).     I'm sure that I'm doing something dumb but I've been going craze over the last couple of days trying to get my checkboxes filled out inside an iterator that goes over an arraylist of object. Now imagine this scenario multiplied by 10 or 100, and you can see that it can quickly become quite tedious and error prone to ensure consistency across ViewModels (and therefore across Views). How can I "DRY up" this code? Before you answer, "Just put all the attributes on FooModel," I've tried that, but it didn't work because I need to keep my ViewModels "flat". In other words, I can't just compose each ViewModel with a Model--I need my ViewModel to have only the properties (and attributes) that should be consumed by the View, and the View can't burrow into sub-properties to get at the values. Update LukLed's answer suggests using inheritance. This definitely reduces the amount of non-DRY code, but it doesn't eliminate it. Note that, in my example above, the DisplayName attribute for the Category property would need to be written twice because the data type of the property is different between the display and edit ViewModels. This isn't going to be a big deal on a small scale, but as the size and complexity of a project scales up (imagine a lot more properties, more attributes per property, more views per model), there is still the potentially for "repeating yourself" a fair amount. Perhaps I'm taking DRY too far here, but I'd still rather have all my "friendly names", data types, validation rules, etc. typed out only once.

  • ASP.NET Membership API not working on Win2008 server/IIS7

    I have a very odd problem. I have a web app that uses the .NET Membership API to provide login functionality. This works fine on my local dev machine, using WebDev 4.0 server. I'm using .NET 4.0 with some URL Rewriting, but not on the pages where login is required. I have a Windows Server 2008 with IIS7 However, the Membership API seemingly does not work on the server. I have set up remote debugging and the LoginUser.LoggedIn event of the LoginUser control gets fired okay, but the MembershipUser is null. I get no answer about the username/password being invalid so it seems to be recognising it. If I enter an invalid username/password, I get an invalid username/password response.     I'v been trying to anti alias with OGL. I found a code chunk that is supposed to do this but I see no antialiasing. I also reset my settings in Nvidia Control Panel but no luck. Does this code in fact antialias the cube?     I am trying to create a program that will do some simple calculations, but am having trouble with the program not doing the correct math, or placing the decimal correctly, or something. Some other people I asked cannot figure it out either. The opcacity remains 0, and messages only get restored again when I have a message of kind true,"msg,false. After the animation, the opacity is 0, and where I would expect the second multidatatrigger to set it back to 8, and then have the animation performed by the Datatrigger, it doesnt. What would be the best way to get this working ?

  • Overflow - what am I doing wrong?

    Hi, I have been working on trying to get a page to display a title at the top of the content pane, and then a scrollable list of products below that so that the title of the product range is displayed at all times. I am sure this is a very simple thing to do - but cannot figure it out. Currently the actual page (not the test page for which the code is given below) works ok in the sense that I set the heading div to 5% of the height of .content-container and then set the scrollable div to 95% with top: 5%, both with position: absolute applied. - however I would like to place some links in the heading div to different pages (1, 2, 3 etc), which I would like to centre vertically if they are shorter than the heading and expand the heading div to match the height of the heading or the links, whichever is smallest. Furthermore I would like the div below the heading to shrink so that it doesn't go below the bottom of the content div as the heading div gets taller. The point of this is because it is for a client who may, or may not, be happy with the heading sizes and so on - therefore the heading div height could easily change. Specifying heights so precisely means that changing the h1 height could mean 5 changes to the CSS file - something I want to avoid. The content pane currently has its height fixed to 80% of the page, with the header and footer being 10% each on top of that, so there is no scrollbar at the side of the page and the header / footer are always showing. This is something I would like to keep. In the code below, .content-container is the main content pane - this is contained in another div which is centred using the margin at 50% of the page width. .test-div is the div which contains the heading. .test-div-2 is an attempt to place a div below .test-div, in the hope that I can force .test-div-3 to extend to 100% of its' height but no further, and to display a scrollbar if the content exceeds the height.     Hey, i'm having a weird issue with drawing text in openGL loaded with the Freetype 2 library. It's strange because if I change the font size, or the DPI, then some of the letters that display correctly become garbled, and other letters that were garbled before then display correctly.

  • HTML: Place an image on top of another one

    Inside a div, there is a picture that should have 10px margin in all directions from the DIV's border. On the left bottom corner of the picture there is an about-image. The picture is only displayed when its loaded in the DOM through jquery. The problem is that the existence of the about-image dislocates the picture downwards as many pixels as the height of the about-image. I am looking for the cleanest possible alternative to keep the picture inside the DIV and still display the about-image on top of it. Setting the picture as background will not work since i need the picture to load at once. Any improvement on the #about css would be greatly appreciated. Question 1: Why does it display no data for some of the PARAMETERS and LOCALS? Is it the GC who has cleaned up before the memorydump had been created. Question 2: Is there anymore i can do to get to the solution to this problem?

The problem comes in nesting a loop in my JavaScript code. I somewhat understand why it's doing that, but I don't know how to nest another loop so when the script runs it displays all the titles for an author, not just the first.     So, I've built this navigation bar so far and I'm curious if it's even possible to achieve what I'm thinking. Currently, when you hover over each of the links they drop down (padding is increased). Now, what I'm curious in doing is if you hover over say "test1", test2-4 also drop with it but in the padding that has been created from the drop down, "test1" information shows up. Allowing the user to click or read whatever information is in there. Also, if the user would like to, they can move their mouse to test2 and everything would animate (opacity, this I can do I think) to whatever is in the test2 field, test3 doing the same and so on. I haven't had much success with this, I've created a completely separate panel before, but that didn't exactly work or I wasn't doing it correctly.
