  • Word 2007 Master Pages

    I'm using the Open XML SDK to work with Word 2007 templates, and the project continues to progress nicely. Now I would like to add consistent headers and footers to every document, very similar to an ASP.NET MasterPage. In particular, I'd like to compose a template document with a content document, then fill the content using the approach described here. I can't find anything on this topic. Thanks for your help!

Should I be using constants for this? If yes, how should I go about implementing frequently used string literals and will it significantly affect performance on a high-traffic site? In my current project I'm using NHibernate and NInject 2 and I was wondering if it's possible to solve transaction handling using "Ninject.Extensions.Interception" and similar [Transaction] type attributes? I want to write a c# code (or use some code from the net) that configures the number of possible remotely and simultaneously connected local users to TS to be some N. Is it even possible?   • Visual Studio 2005 doesn't support Sql Server 2008

    I'm developing Reporting services on VS2005 and have to connect to SQL Server 2008. The following Error occurs: "This server version is not supported. You must have Microsoft SQL Server 2005 Beta 2 or later." I found on the net a patch for it, but it doesn't work (link to patch) "The upgrade patch cannot be installed by the Windows Installer Service because the program to be upgraded is missing, or the upgrade patch may update a different version of the program." what else can I do ? :(
