  • Compare two Xcode build settings

    I have a project where I use two build settings predominantly. Unfortunately today something went wrong. One compiles and the other doesn't. How can I compare the two build settings in XCode to see what the differences are? (For those interested, the error I get in one build is jump to case label crosses initialization of 'const char* selectorName' if you know what this means I'll be very grateful )

    Hi, I am upgrading an old version 1.0 F# project to 2.0 using visual studio 2010. So many changes. I can't seem to find the print_any command that was littered all over the place in the old books and samples. I have installed powerpack but can't find it there either. Any idea where i can find this command. PS: I know I can easily implement it myself but was curious where this is now.

    I would like to know practically what kind of Assembly should we put in GAC. Case 1. If in my Solution multiple project uses log4net.dll then should it be part of GAC? Case 2. If I have multiple application deployed in a machine each using log4net.dll is this the reason enough to put log4net.dll into GAC?

    I have been put on to a project using Nuxeo, late in it's lifecycle and need to change a few things before it goes live. I am having trouble finding out where I need to look to lock down a Nuxeo based application so that a user is redirected to the login page if they are unauthorised and access a restricted page. Can someone please shoot my some direction on where this sort of logic is kept or defined?

  • Windows7 Installer takes priority how to move it back during installation using C#?

    I've a custom Action on Deployment project of .NET Applicaiton, which contains custom dialogbox to enter certain parameters, on invalid parameters I've shown MessageBox.Show - but its being hide by installer window, I tried windows forms too with Activate, TopMost, Focus,bring2front, etc serveral options but it comes by default behind the windows installer window and due to this user is not able to identify why installing process is not finishing - because actually its waiting for user to read the MessageBox and press OK. I've tried to implement IWin32Window with the handler of MsiExec Process, and shown the Messagebox but still its not working, anyone has idea ??? Here is my installer.cs function defination, public override void Install(IDictionary stateSaver)

    I am working on a debugger project for a game's scripting engine. I'm hoping to write the debugger's GUI in C#. The actual debugging engine, however, is embedded in the game itself and is written in a mixture of C, C++, and assembly patches.   • failed to load source for

    hi, I have a php project which used to work well, yesterday it suddenly failed, from the login page i cannot actually get into the system with the right username/password. i checked it in Firebug, it said: failed to load source for the php file that's supposed to load after login.what could be wrong? anyone have any idea? I am creating a custom error page in my C# based project and I want it to be able to show the same information that is displayed in the ASP.NET default error page. From fiddling with reflector I can see that this is generated through HttpException.GetHtmlErrorMessage() but when I try to use this in my exception it returns null.
