  • C# DLL reference changes version and becomes unloadable (Plugin-system)

    I will try to keep this as simple as possible. I have a rather simple plugin system that has run into a problem. I have 2 assemblies: Host.exe Plugin.dll Plugin.dll references Host.exe (which contains interfaces and classes that Plugin.dll implement and use). At runtime, Host.exe loads Plugin.dll through reflection and this works great. Except when Host.exe updates and gets a new version number. Then I get an error once I try to load Plugin.dll, saying that Host.exe (with the old version number) can't be found. This means I have to rebuild all plugins every time Host.exe changes build number. Anyone got a solution to this?

    I want to create backup SQL tables using variable names. something along the lines of DECLARE @SQLTable Varchar(20) SET @SQLTable = 'SomeTableName' + ' ' + '20100526' SELECT * INTO quotename(@SQLTable) FROM SomeTableName but i'm getting Incorrect syntax near '@SQLTable'. It's just part of a small script for maintence so i don't have to worry about injections.

Something like that: public class Bar extends Foo<T> { public Class getParameterClass() { return T.class; // doesn't compile } } This type information is available at compile time and therefore should not be affected by type erasure, so, theoretically, there should be a way to accomplish this.   • How to find the first declaring method for a reference method

    Suppose you have a generic interface and an implementation: public interface MyInterface<T> { void foo(T param); } public class MyImplementation<T> implements MyInterface<T> { void foo(T param) { } } These two types are frework types. In the next step I want allow users to extend that interface as well as redeclare foo(T param) to maybe equip it with further annotations. public interface MyExtendedInterface extends MyInterface<Bar> { @Override void foo(Bar param); // Further declared methods } I create an AOP proxy for the extended interface and intercept especially the calls to furtherly declared methods. As foo(…) is no redeclared in MyExtendedInterface I cannot execute it by simply invoking MethodInvocation.proceed() as the instance of MyImplementation only implements MyInterface.foo(…) and not MyExtendedInterface.foo(…). So is there a way to get access to the method that declared a method initially? Regarding this example is there a way to find out that foo(Bar param) was declared in MyInterface originally and get access to the accoriding Method instance? I already tried to scan base class methods to match by name and parameter types but that doesn't work out as generics pop in and MyImplementation.getMethod("foo", Bar.class) obviously throws a NoSuchMethodException. I already know that MyExtendedInterface types MyInterface to Bar. So If I could create some kind of "typed view" on MyImplementation my math algorithm could work out actually.

Here is the code: function getFileContents(filePath, callbackFn) { var xhr = new XMLHttpRequest(); xhr.onreadystatechange = function() { if (xhr.readyState == 4) { callbackFn(xhr.responseText); } } xhr.open("GET", chrome.extension.getURL(filePath), true); xhr.send(); } And I want to call it like this: var test = "lol"; getFileContents("hello.js", function(data) { alert(test); }); Here, test would be out of the scope of the callback function, since only the enclosing function's variables are accessible inside the callback function. What is the best way to pass test to the callback function so the alert(test); will display test correctly?

  • Python multiprocessing global variable updates not returned to parent

    I am trying to return values from subprocesses but these values are unfortunately unpicklable. So I used global variables in threads module with success but have not been able to retrieve updates done in subprocesses when using multiprocessing module. I hope I'm missing something. The results printed at the end are always the same as initial values given the vars dataDV03 and dataDV04.     How the heck do I increment a variable that's inside a session? If I declare $attempt, each time a user unsuccessfully attempts to login, I want $attempt to increase by 1.   • Accessing structure through pointers [c]

    I've got a structure which holds names and ages. I've made a linked-list of these structures, using this as a pointer: aNode *rootA; in my main. Now i send **rootA to a function like so addElement(5,"Drew",**rootA); Because i need to pass rootA by reference so that I can edit it in other functions (in my actual program i have two roots, so return will not work) The problem is, in my program, i can't say access the structure members. *rootA->age = 4; for example doesnt work. Hopefully you guys can help me out. Thanks!

If Node = B, then B has one of two possible meanings. --If Node = A has been previously found in the file, then the value for A should be sent as 1. --If Node = A has NOT been found in the file, the the value for A should be sent as 2. where file is the xml source to be transformed I cannot figure out how to do this. If I was using a programming language that allowed for a variable to have its value reassigned/changed, then it is easy. But, with XSLT variables are set once.

  • Cross-reference between delphi records

    Let's say I have a record TQuaternion and a record TVector. Quaternions have some methods with TVector parameters. On the other hand, TVector supports some operations that have TQuaternion parameters. Knowing that Delphi (Win32) does not allow for forward record declarations, how do I solve this elegantly? Using classes is not really an option here, because I really want to use operator overloading for this rare case where it actually makes good sense. For now I simply moved these particular methods out of the records and into separate functions, the good old-fashioned way. Better suggestions are most welcome.

    Good day. I have Eclipse PHP Galileo for Mac OSX, 32bit Cocoa version. The problem is the rename function doesn't work properly. While editing PHP file I choose Refactor-Rename menu or a rename hotkey and Eclipse doesn't offer me to rename a variable, instead a rename file dialog appears. Tried to configure hotkeys but no luck. If you do know the solution – please tell. Thank you.

If I remove the condition f.Expression == null or change it to f.Expression != null, the query executes normally (giving the wrong results, of course). (I'm hoping there is something like $T.table:3 available) Currently the only way I can think of to access a specific object in an array is to do something like this... {#foreach $T.table as record} {#if $T.record$iteration == 3} This is record 3! Name: {$T.record.name} {#/if} {#/for} However that seems clumsy... Any suggestions? Thanks

    take this linq into consideration: list.Where(sil => sil.XML.Element("ticket") != null && sil.XML.Element("ticket").Attribute("id").Value == smsRequestIn.TicketID) if the "ticket" element is not null it searches for it twice and hence is not very effective. Is there a way to use some sort of variables within the linq expression so I can reference the variable instead of doing a double search for the "ticket" element or is linq intelligent enough to not do a double search?
