  • xdebug 2.2.1 installed but not working with cgi

    I've installed (via pecl) xdebug. It is installed (as phpinfo() output indicates), but it doesn't seems to work with CGI (with CLI it works). I've restarted apache, without result. Any ideas? I think the connection is being established, but the server won't answer my request since I'm not providing a SOAP Action Header which seems to be required in SOAP Version 1.1(please correct me if I'm wrong here) which I have to use since the server does not support Version 1.2 .     I have a simple JAXWS webservice deployed in JBoss. It runs fine with a java client but I'm trying to connect using a Silverlight 3.0 application. Setting a breakpoint on my java code, I can see that it is not hit when I run the silverlight client, so it is probably a cross domain issue, but I'm not sure how to handle it (I've already created a crossdomain.xml file and put it beside my HTML page hosting the silverlight client).   • Should I be using the command pattern? Seems like a lot of work...

    My Room class has a lot of methods I used before I decided to use the command pattern. Previously, I was invoking a lot of commands and now it seems I have to make a method in my roomParser class for every method. If I wanted to invoke say, setHotelCode I would have to create a method in roomParser that iterates through and invokes the method. I have uninstalled these and reinstalled them using yum and pecl with no luck. Yum install fine "no error" but then get error when running php. pecl from what I can tell is only installing 32bit. Does not put anything in the lib64 directory.   • Can I use IIS to do ActiveDirectory single-sign-on for another website?

    I'm trying to add Active Directory single-sign-on support to an existing SOAP server. The server can be configured to accept a trusted reverse-proxy and use the X-Remote-User HTTP header for the authenticated user. I want to configure IIS to be the trusted proxy for this service, so that it handles all of the Active Directory authentication for the SOAP server. Basically IIS would have to accept HTTP connections on port X and URL Y, do all the authentication, and then proxy the connection to a different server (most likely the same X and Y). Unfortunately, I have no knowledge of IIS or AD (so I am trying my best to learn enough to build this solution) so please be gentle. I would assume that this is not an uncommon scenario, so is there some easy way to do this? Is this sort of functionality built into IIS or do I need to build some sort of IIS proxy program myself? Is there a better option for getting the authentication done and the X-Remote-User HTTP header set than requiring IIS?   • Creating an Apache Virtual Directory, but updating Active Directory DNS

    Hello all, I'm just getting started with using the Zend Framework and am following a recommended procedure where I am supposed to create an Apache Virtual Directory for the public-facing portion of a new Zend project. I don't THINK I had any issues creating the Virtual Directory, but my knowledge of the required DNS changes is rather lacking. The dev server I'm using is on a Microsoft Windows Active Directory domain, so I've added A records for both the server name and the subdomain. Still, trying to browse to the site from a Windows 7 PC isn't working properly. What am I missing? What's the proper set of steps for getting an Apache-served subdomain to appear properly in a peer computer's web browser? Details below: server: Debian command-line only, freshly installed today with Zend Server CE LAMP stack server name: ZENDEV subdomain: SQUARE.ZENDEV AD Domain functional level: 2008 mixed (run by a mishmash of 03 and 08 servers) attempting to visit the sites: http://square.zendev and http://square.zendev.domain.local (name of domain redacted, but using the local (not com) suffix) Apache Virtual Directory added to httpd.conf: NameVirtualHost *:80 <VirtualHost *:80> DocumentRoot "/var/www/square/public" ServerName square.localhost </VirtualHost> Is this only a problem with DNS?   • Installing ionCube on Windows 2008 64bit

    I've been trying to install ionCube onto my server but have not been having a lot of luck! My server is: Windows 2008 64bit PHP 5.3.14 Thread Safe disabled running as FastCGI In my PHP.ini I have : zend_extension="C:\Program Files (x86)\PHP\ext\ioncube_loader_win_5.2.dll" The path is correct. The DLL is from the x86 NONTS VC9 version of ionCube and PHP is using the MSVC9 (Visual C++ 2008) compiler though I have also tried using the x86 NONTS VC6 version of ionCube. I'm not getting any error but I'm also not getting ionCube when using phpinfo(): This program makes use of the Zend Scripting Language Engine: Zend Engine v2.3.0, Copyright (c) 1998-2012 Zend Technologies Apart from the mail application pools I have also set all the applications in the application pool in IIS7 to use 32bit mode. I don't know if FastCGI is running under 64 or 32 bit mode nor how to switch it or whether it would make a difference? I know it can be a problem installing ionCube onto 64bit Windows but I have also come across threads whereby other people have also [somehow] managed to get it working but even though I seem to be doing the same as them I still can't get it working.

    Hello everyone, I have some legacy classic ASP code (not ASP.Net, but ASP), and I want to call a WCF service which I developed by using VSTS 2008 + C# + .Net 3.5 and using basic Http Binding.   • Delphi native Web Service applications not working. IIS 7 seems to be stripping the pathinfo

    I've run into an interesting problem that I never encountered with XP or IIS 6. Basically, I can't get a native Delphi (WebBroker) Web service server to work with a native Web service client in Windows 7 64-bit. Here's the most basic breakdown. If I create a new Web service application in Delphi 2010 (or any version, back to Delphi 7), and access it using IE 8, I can see the HTML that the WSDLHTMLPublish component creates, but I can never get to the SOAP. In the same way, the WSDL Importer cannot get to the SOAP either. (I have IIS 7 configured to use a 32-bit application pool, and I have created a working Script Map to the Handler Mappings. In short, the 32-bit ISAPI Web service is running). For example, I have a simple Web service server named TestService (created using the default sample interface generated when you create a new Web service server). I installed it in a virtual directory named scripts. If I enter http://localhost/scripts/TestService.dll/wsdl, IIS 7 displays the page http://localhost/scripts/TestService.dll. If I put my mouse over the WSDL link for the ITestService, I see http://localhost/scripts/TestService.dll/wsdl/ITestService in the status bar. However, when I click this link, the address bar shows http://localhost/scripts/TestService.dll/wsdl/ITestService, but I see only the HTML from http://localhost/scripts/TestService.dll. There seems no way to get to the SOAP definition. IIS 7 seems to be ignoring everything after the script name (it is ignoring the pathinfo). Additional evidence that IIS7 is stripping off the pathinfo is that if I pause my mouse over the ITestService link, the statusbar shows http://localhost/scripts/TestService.dll?intf=ITestService. Clicking that link takes me to another HTML page, the one associated with http://localhost/scripts/TestService.dll?intf=ITestService. However, any link that includes a pathinfo following the script name, takes me simply to http://localhost/scripts/TestService.dll. I have tested this in Delphi 7, Delphi 2010, and Delphi XE, with the same results. I am guessing that IIS7 is stripping off the pathinfo, since even the WSDL Importer cannot get to the SOAP definition. Tried creating a new Web service using the CGI option, and got the same result. Have any idea what is going on? Added: Bob Swart reports he has had no problems under Windows 7 32-bit. Downloading the 32-bit OS and will try that (in a new VM).

  • Debugging php-cli scripts with xdebug and netbeans?

    I have managed to initiate php-cli script debug session from the IDE itself, but I need to start the debugging session from the shell / command line. These are rather complex maintenance PHP scripts which take a lot of input parameters, so entering arguments from within Netbeans is a bit cumbersome.
