  • xmlns='' was not expected when deserializing nested classes

    - by Mavrik
    I have a problem when attempting to serialize class on a server, send it to the client and deserialize is on the destination. On the server I have the following two classes: [XmlRoot("StatusUpdate")] public class GameStatusUpdate { public GameStatusUpdate() {} public GameStatusUpdate(Player[] players, Command command) { this.Players = players; this.Update = command; } [XmlArray("Players")] public Player[] Players { get; set; } [XmlElement("Command")] public Command Update { get; set; } } and [XmlRoot("Player")] public class Player { public Player() {} public Player(PlayerColors color) { Color = color; ... } [XmlAttribute("Color")] public PlayerColors Color { get; set; } [XmlAttribute("X")] public int X { get; set; } [XmlAttribute("Y")] public int Y { get; set; } } (The missing types are all enums). This generates the following XML on serialization: <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-16"?> <StatusUpdate> <Players> <Player Color="Cyan" X="67" Y="32" /> </Players> <Command>StartGame</Command> </StatusUpdate> On the client side, I'm attempting to deserialize that into following classes: [XmlRoot("StatusUpdate")] public class StatusUpdate { public StatusUpdate() { } [XmlArray("Players")] [XmlArrayItem("Player")] public PlayerInfo[] Players { get; set; } [XmlElement("Command")] public Command Update { get; set; } } and [XmlRoot("Player")] public class PlayerInfo { public PlayerInfo() { } [XmlAttribute("X")] public int X { get; set; } [XmlAttribute("Y")] public int Y { get; set; } [XmlAttribute("Color")] public PlayerColor Color { get; set; } } However, the deserializer throws an exception: There is an error in XML document (2, 2). <StatusUpdate xmlns=''> was not expected. What am I missing or doing wrong? EDIT: On request I'm also adding code used to serialize and deserialize: Server: public static byte[] SerializeObject(Object obj) { XmlSerializer xmlSerializer = new XmlSerializer(obj.GetType()); StringWriter writer = new StringWriter(); // Clear pre-defined namespaces XmlSerializerNamespaces xsn = new XmlSerializerNamespaces(); xsn.Add("", ""); xmlSerializer.Serialize(writer, obj, xsn); writer.Flush(); // Send as little-endian UTF-16 string because the Serializer denotes XML as // utf-18 which cannot be easly changed UnicodeEncoding encoder = new UnicodeEncoding(false, false); return encoder.GetBytes(writer.ToString()); } Client: public static object DeserializeXml(string xmlData, Type type) { XmlSerializer xmlSerializer = new XmlSerializer(type); StringReader reader = new StringReader(xmlData); object obj = xmlSerializer.Deserialize(reader); return obj; } Deserialization is invoked with StatusUpdate update = (StatusUpdate) Util.DeserializeXml(xmlData, typeof (StatusUpdate));

  • What is wrong with the following Fluent NHibernate Mapping ?

    - by ashraf
    Hi, I have 3 tables (Many to Many relationship) Resource {ResourceId, Description} Role {RoleId, Description} Permission {ResourceId, RoleId} I am trying to map above tables in fluent-nHibernate. This is what I am trying to do. var aResource = session.Get<Resource>(1); // 2 Roles associated (Role 1 and 2) var aRole = session.Get<Role>(1); aResource.Remove(aRole); // I try to delete just 1 role from permission. But the sql generated here is (which is wrong) Delete from Permission where ResourceId = 1 Insert into Permission (ResourceId, RoleId) values (1, 2); Instead of (right way) Delete from Permission where ResourceId = 1 and RoleId = 1 Why nHibernate behave like this? What wrong with the mapping? I even tried with Set instead of IList. Here is the full code. Entities public class Resource { public virtual string Description { get; set; } public virtual int ResourceId { get; set; } public virtual IList<Role> Roles { get; set; } public Resource() { Roles = new List<Role>(); } } public class Role { public virtual string Description { get; set; } public virtual int RoleId { get; set; } public virtual IList<Resource> Resources { get; set; } public Role() { Resources = new List<Resource>(); } } Mapping Here // Mapping .. public class ResourceMap : ClassMap<Resource> { public ResourceMap() { Id(x => x.ResourceId); Map(x => x.Description); HasManyToMany(x => x.Roles).Table("Permission"); } } public class RoleMap : ClassMap<Role> { public RoleMap() { Id(x => x.RoleId); Map(x => x.Description); HasManyToMany(x => x.Resources).Table("Permission"); } } Program static void Main(string[] args) { var factory = CreateSessionFactory(); using (var session = factory.OpenSession()) { using (var tran = session.BeginTransaction()) { var aResource = session.Get<Resource>(1); var aRole = session.Get<Role>(1); aResource.Remove(aRole); session.Save(a); session.Flush(); tran.Commit(); } } } private static ISessionFactory CreateSessionFactory() { return Fluently.Configure() .Database(MsSqlConfiguration.MsSql2008 .ConnectionString("server=(local);database=Store;Integrated Security=SSPI")) .Mappings(m => m.FluentMappings.AddFromAssemblyOf<Program>() .Conventions.Add<CustomForeignKeyConvention>()) .BuildSessionFactory(); } public class CustomForeignKeyConvention : ForeignKeyConvention { protected override string GetKeyName(FluentNHibernate.Member property, Type type) { return property == null ? type.Name + "Id" : property.Name + "Id"; } } Thanks, Ashraf.

  • FreeType2 Bitmap to System::Drawing::Bitmap.

    - by Dennis Roche
    Hi, I'm trying to convert a FreeType2 bitmap to a System::Drawing::Bitmap in C++/CLI. FT_Bitmap has a unsigned char* buffer that contains the data to write. I have got somewhat working save it disk as a *.tga, but when saving as *.bmp it renders incorrectly. I believe that the size of byte[] is incorrect and that my data is truncated. Any hints/tips/ideas on what is going on here would be greatly appreciated. Links to articles explaining byte layout and pixel formats etc. would be helpful. Thanks!! C++/CLI code. FT_Bitmap *bitmap = &face->glyph->bitmap; int width = (face->bitmap->metrics.width / 64); int height = (face->bitmap->metrics.height / 64); // must be aligned on a 32 bit boundary or 4 bytes int depth = 8; int stride = ((width * depth + 31) & ~31) >> 3; int bytes = (int)(stride * height); // as *.tga void *buffer = bytes ? malloc(bytes) : NULL; if (buffer) { memset(buffer, 0, bytes); for (int i = 0; i < glyph->rows; ++i) memcpy((char *)buffer + (i * width), glyph->buffer + (i * glyph->pitch), glyph->pitch); WriteTGA("Test.tga", buffer, width, height); } array<Byte>^ values = gcnew array<Byte>(bytes); Marshal::Copy((IntPtr)glyph->buffer, values, 0, bytes); // as *.bmp Bitmap^ systemBitmap = gcnew Bitmap(width, height, PixelFormat::Format24bppRgb); // create bitmap data, lock pixels to be written. BitmapData^ bitmapData = systemBitmap->LockBits(Rectangle(0, 0, width, height), ImageLockMode::WriteOnly, bitmap->PixelFormat); Marshal::Copy(values, 0, bitmapData->Scan0, bytes); systemBitmap->UnlockBits(bitmapData); systemBitmap->Save("Test.bmp"); Reference, FT_Bitmap typedef struct FT_Bitmap_ { int rows; int width; int pitch; unsigned char* buffer; short num_grays; char pixel_mode; char palette_mode; void* palette; } FT_Bitmap; Reference, WriteTGA bool WriteTGA(const char *filename, void *pxl, uint16 width, uint16 height) { FILE *fp = NULL; fopen_s(&fp, filename, "wb"); if (fp) { TGAHeader header; memset(&header, 0, sizeof(TGAHeader)); header.imageType = 3; header.width = width; header.height = height; header.depth = 8; header.descriptor = 0x20; fwrite(&header, sizeof(header), 1, fp); fwrite(pxl, sizeof(uint8) * width * height, 1, fp); fclose(fp); return true; } return false; }

  • Custom ProgressBarBrushConverter Not Filling In ProgressBar

    - by Wonko the Sane
    Hello All, I am attempting to create a custom ProgressBarBrushConverter, based on information from here and here. However, when it runs, the progress is not being shown. If I use the code found in the links, it appears to work correctly. Here is the converter in question: public object Convert(object[] values, Type targetType, object parameter, CultureInfo culture) { ProgressBar progressBar = null; foreach (object value in values) { if (value is ProgressBar) { progressBar = value as ProgressBar; break; } } if (progressBar == null) return DependencyProperty.UnsetValue; FrameworkElement indicator = progressBar.Template.FindName("PART_Indicator", progressBar) as FrameworkElement; DrawingBrush drawingBrush = new DrawingBrush(); drawingBrush.Viewport = drawingBrush.Viewbox = new Rect(0.0, 0.0, indicator.ActualWidth, indicator.ActualHeight); drawingBrush.ViewportUnits = BrushMappingMode.Absolute; drawingBrush.TileMode = TileMode.None; drawingBrush.Stretch = Stretch.None; DrawingGroup group = new DrawingGroup(); DrawingContext context = group.Open(); context.DrawRectangle(progressBar.Foreground, null, new Rect(0.0, 0.0, indicator.ActualWidth, indicator.ActualHeight)); context.Close(); drawingBrush.Drawing = group; return drawingBrush; } Here is the ControlTemplate (the MultiBinding is to make sure that the converter is called whenever the Value or IsIndeterminate properties are changed): <ControlTemplate x:Key="customProgressBarTemplate" TargetType="{x:Type ProgressBar}"> <Grid> <Path x:Name="PART_Track" HorizontalAlignment="Left" VerticalAlignment="Top" Stretch="Fill" StrokeLineJoin="Round" Stroke="#DDCBCBCB" StrokeThickness="4" Data="M 20,100 L 80,10 C 100,120 160,140 190,180 S 160,220 130,180 T 120,150 20,100 Z "> <Path.Fill> <MultiBinding> <MultiBinding.Converter> <local:ProgressBarBrushConverter /> </MultiBinding.Converter> <Binding RelativeSource="{RelativeSource FindAncestor, AncestorType={x:Type ProgressBar}}" /> <Binding Path="IsIndeterminate" RelativeSource="{RelativeSource TemplatedParent}"/> <Binding Path="Value" RelativeSource="{RelativeSource TemplatedParent}"/> </MultiBinding> </Path.Fill> <!--<Path.LayoutTransform> <RotateTransform Angle="180" CenterX="190" CenterY="110" /> </Path.LayoutTransform>--> </Path> <Rectangle x:Name="PART_Indicator" HorizontalAlignment="Stretch" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" Margin="1" /> </Grid> </ControlTemplate> Finally, the Window code (fairly straightforward - it just animates progress from 0 to 100 and back again): <ProgressBar x:Name="progress" Template="{StaticResource customProgressBarTemplate}" Foreground="Red"> <ProgressBar.Triggers> <EventTrigger RoutedEvent="ProgressBar.Loaded"> <BeginStoryboard x:Name="storyAnimate"> <Storyboard> <DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames Duration="0:0:12" AutoReverse="True" FillBehavior="Stop" RepeatBehavior="Forever" Storyboard.TargetName="progress" Storyboard.TargetProperty="(ProgressBar.Value)"> <LinearDoubleKeyFrame Value="0" KeyTime="0:0:0" /> <LinearDoubleKeyFrame Value="100" KeyTime="0:0:5" /> <LinearDoubleKeyFrame Value="100" KeyTime="0:0:6" /> <LinearDoubleKeyFrame Value="0" KeyTime="0:0:11" /> <LinearDoubleKeyFrame Value="0" KeyTime="0:0:12" /> </DoubleAnimationUsingKeyFrames> </Storyboard> </BeginStoryboard> </EventTrigger> </ProgressBar.Triggers> </ProgressBar> I am thinking that the problem is in the DrawRectangle call in the Convert method, but setting a TracePoint on it shows what appear to be valid values for the Rect. What am I missing here? Thanks, wTs

  • How to use Boost 1.41.0 graph layout algorithmes

    - by daniil-k
    Hi I have problem using boost graph layout algorithmes. boost verision 1_41_0 mingw g++ 4.4.0. So there are issues I have encountered Can you suggest me with them? The function fruchterman_reingold_force_directed_layout isn't compiled. The kamada_kawai_spring_layout compiled but program crashed. Boost documentation to layout algorithms is wrong, sample to fruchterman_reingold_force_directed_layout isn't compiled. This is my example. To use function just uncomment one. String 60, 61, 63. #include <boost/config.hpp> #include <boost/graph/adjacency_list.hpp> #include <boost/graph/graph_utility.hpp> #include <boost/graph/simple_point.hpp> #include <boost/property_map/property_map.hpp> #include <boost/graph/circle_layout.hpp> #include <boost/graph/fruchterman_reingold.hpp> #include <boost/graph/kamada_kawai_spring_layout.hpp> #include <iostream> //typedef boost::square_topology<>::point_difference_type Point; typedef boost::square_topology<>::point_type Point; struct VertexProperties { std::size_t index; Point point; }; struct EdgeProperty { EdgeProperty(const std::size_t &w):weight(w) {} double weight; }; typedef boost::adjacency_list<boost::listS, boost::listS, boost::undirectedS, VertexProperties, EdgeProperty > Graph; typedef boost::property_map<Graph, std::size_t VertexProperties::*>::type VertexIndexPropertyMap; typedef boost::property_map<Graph, Point VertexProperties::*>::type PositionMap; typedef boost::property_map<Graph, double EdgeProperty::*>::type WeightPropertyMap; typedef boost::graph_traits<Graph>::vertex_descriptor VirtexDescriptor; int main() { Graph graph; VertexIndexPropertyMap vertexIdPropertyMap = boost::get(&VertexProperties::index, graph); for (int i = 0; i < 3; ++i) { VirtexDescriptor vd = boost::add_vertex(graph); vertexIdPropertyMap[vd] = i + 2; } boost::add_edge(boost::vertex(1, graph), boost::vertex(0, graph), EdgeProperty(5), graph); boost::add_edge(boost::vertex(2, graph), boost::vertex(0, graph), EdgeProperty(5), graph); std::cout << "Vertices\n"; boost::print_vertices(graph, vertexIdPropertyMap); std::cout << "Edges\n"; boost::print_edges(graph, vertexIdPropertyMap); PositionMap positionMap = boost::get(&VertexProperties::point, graph); WeightPropertyMap weightPropertyMap = boost::get(&EdgeProperty::weight, graph); boost::circle_graph_layout(graph, positionMap, 100); // boost::fruchterman_reingold_force_directed_layout(graph, positionMap, boost::square_topology<>()); boost::kamada_kawai_spring_layout(graph, positionMap, weightPropertyMap, boost::square_topology<>(), boost::side_length<double>(10), boost::layout_tolerance<>(), 1, vertexIdPropertyMap); std::cout << "Coordinates\n"; boost::graph_traits<Graph>::vertex_iterator i, end; for (boost::tie(i, end) = boost::vertices(graph); i != end; ++i) { std::cout << "ID: (" << vertexIdPropertyMap[*i] << ") x: " << positionMap[*i][0] << " y: " << positionMap[*i][1] << "\n"; } return 0; }

  • PHP: Proper way of using a PDO database connection in a class

    - by Cortopasta
    Trying to organize all my code into classes, and I can't get the database queries to work inside a class. I tested it without the class wrapper, and it worked fine. Inside the class = no dice. What about my classes is messing this up? class ac { public function dbConnect() { global $dbcon; $dbInfo['server'] = "localhost"; $dbInfo['database'] = "sn"; $dbInfo['username'] = "sn"; $dbInfo['password'] = "password"; $con = "mysql:host=" . $dbInfo['server'] . "; dbname=" . $dbInfo['database']; $dbcon = new PDO($con, $dbInfo['username'], $dbInfo['password']); $dbcon->setAttribute(PDO::ATTR_ERRMODE, PDO::ERRMODE_EXCEPTION); $error = $dbcon->errorInfo(); if($error[0] != "") { print "<p>DATABASE CONNECTION ERROR:</p>"; print_r($error); } } public function authentication() { global $dbcon; $plain_username = $_POST['username']; $md5_password = md5($_POST['password']); $ac = new ac(); if (is_int($ac->check_credentials($plain_username, $md5_password))) { ?> <p>Welcome!</p> <!--go to account manager here--> <?php } else { ?> <p>Not a valid username and/or password. Please try again.</p> <?php unset($_POST['username']); unset($_POST['password']); $ui = new ui(); $ui->start(); } } private function check_credentials($plain_username, $md5_password) { global $dbcon; $userid = $dbcon->prepare('SELECT id FROM users WHERE username = :username AND password = :password LIMIT 1'); $userid->bindParam(':username', $plain_username); $userid->bindParam(':password', $md5_password); $userid->execute(); print_r($dbcon->errorInfo()); $id = $userid->fetch(); Return $id; } } And if it's any help, here's the class that's calling it: require_once("ac/acclass.php"); $ac = new ac(); $ac->dbconnect(); class ui { public function start() { if ((!isset($_POST['username'])) && (!isset($_POST['password']))) { $ui = new ui(); $ui->loginform(); } else { $ac = new ac(); $ac->authentication(); } } private function loginform() { ?> <form id="userlogin" action="<?php echo $_SERVER['PHP_SELF']; ?>" method="post"> User:<input type="text" name="username"/><br/> Password:<input type="password" name="password"/><br/> <input type="submit" value="submit"/> </form> <?php } }

  • Configuring Cruise Control Net with sourcesafe - Unable to load array item 'executable'

    - by albert
    Hi all, I'm trying to create a continuous integration environment. To do so, I've used a guide that can be found at http://www.15seconds.com/issue/040621.htm. In this step by step, the goal is to create a CI with CCNet, NAnt, NUni, NDoc, FxCop and source safe. I've been able to create my build by using the command prompt (despite the the different versions issues). The problem has come with the configuration of ccnet.config I've made some changes because of the new versions, but I'm still getting errors when starting the CCNet server. Can anyone help me to fix this issue or point where to find a guide with this scenario? The error that I'm getting: Unable to instantiate CruiseControl projects from configuration document. Configuration document is likely missing Xml nodes required for properly populating CruiseControl configuration. Unable to load array item 'executable' - Cannot convert from type System.String to ThoughtWorks.CruiseControl.Core.ITask for object with value: "\DevTools\nant\bin\NAnt.exe" Xml: E:\DevTools\nant\bin\NAnt.exe My CCNet config file below: <cruisecontrol> <project name="BuildingSolution"> <webURL>http://localhost/ccnet</webURL> <modificationDelaySeconds>10</modificationDelaySeconds> <triggers> <intervaltrigger name="continuous" seconds="60" /> </triggers> <sourcecontrol type="vss" autoGetSource="true"> <ssdir>E:\VSS\</ssdir> <executable>C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual SourceSafe\SS.EXE</executable> <project>$/CCNet/slnCCNet.root/slnCCNet</project> <username>Albert</username> <password></password> </sourcecontrol> <prebuild type="nant"> <executable>E:\DevTools\nant\bin\NAnt.exe</executable> <buildFile>E:\Builds\buildingsolution\WebForm.build</buildFile> <logger>NAnt.Core.XmlLogger</logger> <buildTimeoutSeconds>300</buildTimeoutSeconds> </prebuild> <tasks> <nant> <executable>E:\DevTools\nant\bin\nant.exe</executable> <nologo>true</nologo> <buildFile>E:\Builds\buildingsolution\WebForm.build</buildFile> <logger>NAnt.Core.XmlLogger</logger> <targetList> <target>build</target> </targetList> <buildTimeoutSeconds>6000</buildTimeoutSeconds> </nant> </tasks> <publishers> <merge> <files> <file>E:\Builds\buildingsolution\latest\*-results.xml</file> </files> </merge> <xmllogger /> </publishers> </project> </cruisecontrol> enter code here

  • Run javascript after form submission in update panel?

    - by AverageJoe719
    This is driving me crazy! I have read at least 5 questions on here closely related to my problem, and probably 5 or so more pages just from googling. I just don't get it. I am trying to have a jqueryui dialog come up after a user fills out a form saying 'registration submitted' and then redirecting to another page, but I cannot for the life of me get any javascript to work, not even a single alert. Here is my update panel: <asp:ScriptManager ID="ScriptManager1" runat="server"> </asp:ScriptManager> <asp:UpdatePanel ID="upForm" runat="server" UpdateMode="Conditional" ChildrenAsTriggers="False"> <ContentTemplate> 'Rest of form' <asp:Button ID="btnSubmit" runat="server" Text="Submit" /> <p>Did register Pass? <%= registrationComplete %></p> </ContentTemplate> </asp:UpdatePanel> The Jquery I want to execute: (Right now this is sitting in the head of the markup, with autoOpen set to false) <script type="text/javascript"> function pageLoad() { $('#registerComplete').dialog({ autoOpen: true, width: 270, resizable: false, modal: true, draggable: false, buttons: { "Ok": function() { window.location.href = "someUrl"; } } }); } </script> Finally my code behind: ( Commented out all the things I've tried) Protected Sub btnSubmit_Click(ByVal sender As Object, ByVal e As EventArgs) Handles btnSubmit.Click 'Dim sbScript As New StringBuilder()' registrationComplete = True registrationUpdatePanel.Update() 'sbScript.Append("<script language='JavaScript' type='text/javascript'>" + ControlChars.Lf)' 'sbScript.Append("<!--" + ControlChars.Lf)' 'sbScript.Append("window.location.reload()" + ControlChars.Lf)' 'sbScript.Append("// -->" + ControlChars.Lf)' 'sbScript.Append("</")' 'sbScript.Append("script>" + ControlChars.Lf)' 'ScriptManager.RegisterClientScriptBlock(Me.Page, Me.GetType(), "AutoPostBack", sbScript.ToString(), False)' 'ClientScript.RegisterStartupScript("AutoPostBackScript", sbScript.ToString())' 'Response.Write("<script type='text/javascript'>alert('Test')</script>")' 'Response.Write("<script>windows.location.reload()</script>")' End Sub I've tried: Passing variables from server to client via inline <%= % in the javascript block of the head tag. Putting that same code in a script tag inside the updatePanel. Tried to use RegisterClientScriptBlock and RegisterStartUpScript Just doing a Response.Write with the script tag written in it. Tried various combinations of putting the entire jquery.dialog code in the registerstartup script, or just trying to change the autoOpen property, or just calling "open" on it. I can't even get a simple alert to work with any of these, so I am doing something wrong but I just don't know what it is. Here is what I know: The Jquery is binding properly even on async postbacks, because the div container that is the dialog box is always invisible, I saw a similiar post on here stating that was causing an issue, this isn't the case here. Using page_load instead of document.ready since that is supposed to run on both async and normal postbacks, so that isn't the issue. The update panel is updating correctly because <p>Did register Pass? <%= registrationComplete %></p> updates to true after I submit the form. So how can I make this work? All I want is - click submit button inside an update panel - run server side code to validate form and insert into db - if everything succeeded, have that jquery (modal) dialog pop up saying hey it worked.

  • Python Mechanize unable to avoid redirect when Post

    - by Enric Geijo
    I am trying to crawl a site using mechanize. The site provides search results in different pages. When posting to get the next set of results, something is wrong and the server redirects me to the first page, asking mechanize to update the SearchSession Cookie. I have been debugging the requests using Firefox and they look quite the same, and I am unable to find the problem. Any suggestion? • Why is my PHP query executing twice on page load?

    - by user1826238
    I am newish to PHP and I seem to be having an issue with an insert statement that executes twice when I open this page to view a document. In the database the 2nd insert is 1 second later. It happens in google chrome only and on this page only. IE has no issue, I dont have firefox to check. view_document.php <?php require_once($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/../includes/core.php'); require_once($_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/../includes/connect.php'); $webusername = $_SESSION['webname']; if (isset($_GET['document'])) { $ainumber = (int) $_GET['document']; if (!ctype_digit($_GET['document']) || !preg_match('~^[0-9]+$~',$_GET['document']) || !is_numeric($_GET['document'])) { $_SESSION = array(); session_destroy(); header('Location: login.php'); } else { $stmt = $connect->prepare("SELECT s_filename, s_reference FROM dmsmain WHERE s_ainumber = ?") or die(mysqli_error()); $stmt->bind_param('s', $ainumber); $stmt->execute(); $stmt->bind_result($filename, $reference); $stmt->fetch(); $stmt->close(); $file = $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/../dms/files/'.$filename.'.pdf'; if (file_exists($file)) { header('Content-Type: application/pdf'); header('Content-Disposition: inline; filename='.basename($file)); header('Content-Transfer-Encoding: binary'); header('Content-Length: ' . filesize($file)); header('Accept-Ranges: bytes'); readfile($file); $stmt = $connect->prepare("INSERT INTO dmslog (s_reference, s_userid, s_lastactivity, s_actiontype) VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?)") or die(mysqli_error()); date_default_timezone_set('Africa/Johannesburg'); $date = date('Y-m-d H:i:s'); $actiontype = 'DL'; $stmt->bind_param('ssss', $reference, $webusername, $date, $actiontype); $stmt->execute(); $stmt->close(); } else { $missing = "<b>File not found</b>"; } } } ?> My HTTP access records I assume [15/Nov/2012:10:14:32 +0200] "POST /dms/search.php HTTP/1.1" 200 5783 "http://www.denso.co.za/dms/search.php" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.11 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/23.0.1271.64 Safari/537.11" [15/Nov/2012:10:14:33 +0200] "GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1" 404 - "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.11 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/23.0.1271.64 Safari/537.11" [15/Nov/2012:10:14:34 +0200] "GET /dms/view_document.php?document=8 HTTP/1.1" 200 2965 "http://www.denso.co.za/dms/search.php" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.11 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/23.0.1271.64 Safari/537.11" [15/Nov/2012:10:14:35 +0200] "GET /favicon.ico HTTP/1.1" 404 - "-" "Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64) AppleWebKit/537.11 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/23.0.1271.64 Safari/537.11" I have checked my <img src=''> links and I dont see a problem with them. The records indictate there is a favicon.ico request so I created a blank favicon and placed it in my public_html folder and linked it in the page like so <link href="../favicon.ico" rel="shortcut icon" type="image/x-icon" /> Unfortunately that did not work as the statement still executes twice. I am unsure if it is a favicon issue as my upload page uses an insert query and it executes once. If someone could please tell me where I am going wrong or point me in the right direction I would be very grateful

  • CSS not working in ASP.NET

    - by Tux
    Hi, I have created a simple page in HTML which works fine. But when I import that to ASP.NET, the page design clutters up. Here is my Site.Master <%@ Master Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="Site.master.cs" Inherits="Elite.WUI.Site" %> <!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD XHTML 1.0 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/xhtml1/DTD/xhtml1-transitional.dtd"> <html xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml" > <head runat="server"> <title></title> <link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="styles.css" /> </head> <body> <form id="form1" runat="server"> <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="headerCPH" runat="server"> <div id="header"> <h1>WUI</h1> </div> <hr /> </asp:ContentPlaceHolder> <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="navigationCPH" runat="server"> <div id="navigation"> <ul> <li>Home</li> <li>Users</li> <li>Campaigns</li> <li>Settings</li> </ul> </div> </asp:ContentPlaceHolder> <asp:ContentPlaceHolder ID="contentCPH" runat="server"> </asp:ContentPlaceHolder> </form> </body> </html> my stylesheet styles.css #navigation { float: left; border: 1pt solid; } #navigation ul { list-style-type: none; padding: 5 5 5 5; margin: 0; } #content { margin-left: 9%; border: 1pt solid; padding-left: 5; } and the actual page derived from master page <%@ Page Title="" Language="C#" MasterPageFile="~/Site.Master" AutoEventWireup="true" CodeBehind="ABC.aspx.cs" Inherits="Elite.WUI.ABC" %> <asp:Content ID="Content3" ContentPlaceHolderID="contentCPH" runat="server"> <div id="content"> <p>Test content</p> </div> </asp:Content> Here is how it is displayed in Firefox (ver 3.6) As you can see that the border, list-style-type properties are working but margin isn't working. Can anyone tell me what am I doing wrong? I have tested it in Google Chrome but same issue. While the HTML and CSS works fine when there is no ASP.NET i.e. simple .html file.

  • How to make MVC 4 Razor Html.Raw work for assignment in HTML within script tags

    - by Yarune
    For a project I'm using jqote for templating in JavaScript and HTML generated by MVC 4 with Razor. Please have a look at the following code in HTML and Razor: <script id="testTemplate" type="text/html"> <p>Some html</p> @{string id = "<%=this.Id%>";} <!-- 1 --> @if(true) { @Html.Raw(@"<select id="""+id+@"""></select>") } <!-- 2 --> @if(true) { <select id="@Html.Raw(id)"></select> } <!-- 3 --> @Html.Raw(@"<select id="""+id+@"""></select>") <!-- 4 --> <select id="@Html.Raw(id)"></select> <!-- 5 --> <select id="<%=this.Id%>"></select> </script> The output is this: <script id="testTemplate" type="text/html"> <!-- 1 --> <select id="<%=this.Id%>"></select> <!--Good!--> <!-- 2 --> <select id="&lt;%=this.Id%&gt;"></select> <!--BAD!--> <!-- 3 --> <select id="<%=this.Id%>"></select> <!--Good!--> <!-- 4 --> <select id="<%=this.Id%>"></select> <!--Good!--> <!-- 5 --> <select id="<%=this.Id%>"></select> <!--Good!--> </script> Now, the problem is with the second select under <!-- 2 -->. One would expect the Html.Raw to kick in here but somehow it doesn't. Or Razor wants to HtmlEncode what's in there. The question is: Does anyone have an idea why? Is this a bug or by design? Without the script tags it works. But we need the script tags cause we need to template in JavaScript. Hardcoded it works, but we need to use a variable because this will not always be a template. Without the @if it works, but it's there, we need it. Workarounds These lines give similar good outputs: @if(true) { <select id= "@Html.Raw(id)"></select> } @if(true) { <select id ="@Html.Raw(id)"></select> } @if(true) { <select id @Html.Raw("=")"@Html.Raw(id)"></select> } We're planning to do this: <script id="testTemplate" type="text/html"> @{string id = @"id=""<%=this.Id%>""";} @if(true) { <select @Html.Raw(id)></select> } </script> ...to keep as to markup intact as much as possible.

  • Code Golf: Finite-state machine!

    - by Adam Matan
    Finite state machine A deterministic finite state machine is a simple computation model, widely used as an introduction to automata theory in basic CS courses. It is a simple model, equivalent to regular expression, which determines of a certain input string is Accepted or Rejected. Leaving some formalities aside, A run of a finite state machine is composed of: alphabet, a set of characters. states, usually visualized as circles. One of the states must be the start state. Some of the states might be accepting, usually visualized as double circles. transitions, usually visualized as directed arches between states, are directed links between states associated with an alphabet letter. input string, a list of alphabet characters. A run on the machine begins at the starting state. Each letter of the input string is read; If there is a transition between the current state and another state which corresponds to the letter, the current state is changed to the new state. After the last letter was read, if the current state is an accepting state, the input string is accepted. If the last state was not an accepting state, or a letter had no corresponding arch from a state during the run, the input string is rejected. Note: This short descruption is far from being a full, formal definition of a FSM; Wikipedia's fine article is a great introduction to the subject. Example For example, the following machine tells if a binary number, read from left to right, has an even number of 0s: The alphabet is the set {0,1}. The states are S1 and S2. The transitions are (S1, 0) -> S2, (S1, 1) -> S1, (S2, 0) -> S1 and (S2, 1) -> S2. The input string is any binary number, including an empty string. The rules: Implement a FSM in a language of your choice. Input The FSM should accept the following input: <States> List of state, separated by space mark. The first state in the list is the start state. Accepting states begin with a capital letter. <transitions> One or more lines. Each line is a three-tuple: origin state, letter, destination state) <input word> Zero or more characters, followed by a newline. For example, the aforementioned machine with 1001010 as an input string, would be written as: S1 s2 S1 0 s2 S1 1 S1 s2 0 S1 s2 1 s2 1001010 Output The FSM's run, written as <State> <letter> -> <state>, followed by the final state. The output for the example input would be: S1 1 -> S1 S1 0 -> s2 s2 0 -> S1 S1 1 -> S1 S1 0 -> s2 s2 1 -> s2 s2 0 -> S1 ACCEPT For the empty input '': S1 ACCEPT For 101: S1 1 -> S1 S1 0 -> s2 s2 1 -> s2 REJECT For '10X': S1 1 -> S1 S1 0 -> s2 s2 X REJECT Prize A nice bounty will be given to the most elegant and short solution. Reference implementation A reference Python implementation will be published soon.

  • JavaScript source file not loading in IE8 Popup

    - by dkris
    I have an issue where the JavaScript source file is loading in popup for IE6, Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Opera. But the same source file is not loading up in IE8. As a result of this the HTML is not being replaced in the Popup and I am getting an error in IE8 popup saying tinyMCE is not defined I have referred to http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2949234/formatting-this-javascript-line and solved issue on all browsers except IE8. The JavaScript function is as follows: function openSupportPage() { var features="width=700,height=400,status=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,scrollbars=yes"; var winId=window.open('','',features); winId.document.open(); winId.document.write('<html><head><title>' + document.title + '</title><link rel="stylesheet" href="../css/default.css" type="text/css">\n'); var winDoc = winId.document; var sEl = winDoc.createElement("script"); sEl.src = "../js/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js";/*TinyMCE source file*/ sEl.type="text/javascript"; winDoc.getElementsByTagName("head")[0].appendChild(sEl); winId.document.write('<script type="text/javascript">\n'); winId.document.write('function inittextarea() {\n'); winId.document.write('tinyMCE.init({ \n'); winId.document.write('elements : "content",\n'); winId.document.write('theme : "advanced",\n'); winId.document.write('readonly : true,\n'); winId.document.write('mode : "exact",\n'); winId.document.write('theme : "advanced",\n'); winId.document.write('readonly : true,\n'); winId.document.write('setup : function(ed) {\n'); winId.document.write('ed.onInit.add(function() {\n'); winId.document.write('tinyMCE.activeEditor.execCommand("mceToggleVisualAid");\n'); winId.document.write('});\n'); winId.document.write('}\n'); winId.document.write('});}</script>\n'); window.setTimeout(function () {/*using setTimeout to wait for the JS source file to load*/ winId.document.write('</head><body onload="inittextarea()">\n'); winId.document.write(' \n'); var hiddenFrameHTML = document.getElementById("HiddenFrame").innerHTML; hiddenFrameHTML = hiddenFrameHTML.replace(/&amp;/gi, "&"); hiddenFrameHTML = hiddenFrameHTML.replace(/&lt;/gi, "<"); hiddenFrameHTML = hiddenFrameHTML.replace(/&gt;/gi, ">"); winId.document.write(hiddenFrameHTML); winId.document.write('<textarea id="content" rows="10" style="width:100%">\n'); winId.document.write(document.getElementById(top.document.forms[0].id + ":supportStuff").innerHTML); winId.document.write('</textArea>\n'); var hiddenFrameHTML2 = document.getElementById("HiddenFrame2").innerHTML; hiddenFrameHTML2 = hiddenFrameHTML2.replace(/&amp;/gi, "&"); hiddenFrameHTML2 = hiddenFrameHTML2.replace(/&lt;/gi, "<"); hiddenFrameHTML2 = hiddenFrameHTML2.replace(/&gt;/gi, ">"); winId.document.write(hiddenFrameHTML2); winId.document.write('</body></html>\n'); winId.document.close(); }, 300); } Additional Information: Screen shot of the page Rendered HTML Original JSPF please help me with this one.

  • HTML: Place an image on top of another one

    - by Dimitris Baltas
    Inside a div, there is a picture that should have 10px margin in all directions from the DIV's border. On the left bottom corner of the picture there is an about-image. The picture is only displayed when its loaded in the DOM through jquery. The problem is that the existence of the about-image dislocates the picture downwards as many pixels as the height of the about-image. I am looking for the cleanest possible alternative to keep the picture inside the DIV and still display the about-image on top of it. Setting the picture as background will not work since i need the picture to load at once. Any improvement on the #about css would be greatly appreciated. Below is a full html page that reproduces the issue <html> <head> <title>Troubleshooting :: align the main picture inside the DIV</title> <style type="text/css"> html, body { background-color: #000000; } #about { z-index:2; position:relative; top:82%; left:3%; } #pic { width:100%; height:96%; } #main-content-image { height:100%; margin-right:10px; margin-left:10px; margin-top:10px; margin-bottom:10px; } #main-content { height:490px; border-width: 1px; border-style: solid; border-color: #777777; } #main-content-image.loading { background: url(http://farros.gr/images/ajax-loader2.gif) no-repeat center center; } a { text-decoration: none; text-decoration: none; color: #868686; outline:none; } .hide { display:none; } </style> <script type="text/javascript" src="http://ajax.googleapis.com/ajax/libs/jquery/1.3.2/jquery.min.js"></script> <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- $(document).ready(function(){ $(function () { var img = new Image(); $(img).load(function () { $(this).hide(); $(this).width('100%'); $(this).height('96%'); $('#main-content-image').removeClass('loading').append(this); $(this).fadeIn(); }).error(function () { // notify the user that the image could not be loaded }).attr('src', 'http://farros.gr/images/bg.jpg'); }); }); </script> </head> <body> <div id="main-content"> <div id="main-content-image" class="loading"> <a href="#"><img id="about" src='http://farros.gr/images/about.png' alt='Haris Farros'/></a> </div> </div> </body> </html>

  • How do I solve an unresolved external when using C++ Builder packages?

    - by David M
    I'm experimenting with reconfiguring my application to make heaving use of packages. Both I and another developer running a similar experiment are running into a bit of trouble when linking using several different packages. We're probably both doing something wrong, but goodness knows what :) The situation is this: The first package, PackageA.bpl, contains C++ class FooA. The class is declared with the PACKAGE directive. The second package, PackageB.bpl, contains a class inheriting from FooA, called FooB. It includes FooB.h, and the package is built using runtime packages, and links to PackageA by adding a reference to PackageA.bpi. When building PackageB, it compiles fine but linking fails with a number of unresolved externals, the first few of which are: [ILINK32 Error] Error: Unresolved external '__tpdsc__ FooA' referenced from C:\blah\FooB.OBJ [ILINK32 Error] Error: Unresolved external 'FooA::' referenced from C:\blah\FooB.OBJ [ILINK32 Error] Error: Unresolved external '__fastcall FooA::~FooA()' referenced from blah\FooB.OBJ etc. Running TDump on PackageA.bpl shows: Exports from PackageA.bpl 14 exported name(s), 14 export addresse(s). Ordinal base is 1. Sorted by Name: RVA Ord. Hint Name -------- ---- ---- ---- 00002A0C 8 0000 __tpdsc__ FooA 00002AD8 10 0001 __linkproc__ FooA::Finalize 00002AC8 9 0002 __linkproc__ FooA::Initialize 00002E4C 12 0003 __linkproc__ PackageA::Finalize 00002E3C 11 0004 __linkproc__ PackageA::Initialize 00006510 14 0007 FooA:: 00002860 5 0008 FooA::FooA(FooA&) 000027E4 4 0009 FooA::FooA() 00002770 3 000A __fastcall FooA::~FooA() 000028DC 6 000B __fastcall FooA::Method1() const 000028F4 7 000C __fastcall FooA::Method2() const 00001375 2 000D Finalize 00001368 1 000E Initialize 0000610C 13 000F ___CPPdebugHook So the class definitely seems to be exported and available to link. I can see entries for the specific things ILink32 says it's looking for and not finding. Running TDump on the BPI file shows similar entries. Other info The class does descend from TObject, though originally before refactoring into packages it was a normal C++ class. (More detail below. It seems "safer" using VCL-style classes when trying to solve problems with a very Delphi-ish thing like this anyway. Changing this only changes the order of unresolved externals to first not find Method1 and Method2, then others.) Declaration for FooA: class PACKAGE FooA: public TObject { public: FooA(); virtual __fastcall ~FooA(); FooA(const FooA&); virtual __fastcall long Method1() const; virtual __fastcall long Method2() const; }; and FooB: class FooB: public FooA { public: FooB(); virtual __fastcall ~FooB(); ... other methods... }; All methods definitely are implemented in the .cpp files, so it's not not finding them because they don't exist! The .cpp files also contain #pragma package(smart_init) near the top, under the includes. Questions that might help... Are packages reliable using C++, or are they only useable with Delphi code? Is linking to the first package by adding a reference to its BPI correct - is that how you're supposed to do it? I could use a LIB but it seems to make the second package much larger, and I suspect it's statically linking in the contents of the first. Can we use the PACKAGE directive only on TObject-derived classes? There is no compiler warning using it on standard C++ classes. Is splitting code into packages the best way to achieve the goal of isolating code and communicating through defined layers / interfaces? I've been investigating this path because it seems to be the C++Builder / Delphi Way, and if it worked it looks attractive. But are there better alternatives? I'm very new to using packages and have only known about them through using components before. Any general words of advice would be great! We're using C++Builder 2010. I've fabricated the class and method names in the above code examples, but other than that the details are exactly what we're seeing. Cheers, David

  • unsigned char* buffer (FreeType2 Bitmap) to System::Drawing::Bitmap.

    - by Dennis Roche
    Hi, I'm trying to convert a FreeType2 bitmap to a System::Drawing::Bitmap in C++/CLI. FT_Bitmap has a unsigned char* buffer that contains the data to write. I have got somewhat working save it disk as a *.tga, but when saving as *.bmp it renders incorrectly. I believe that the size of byte[] is incorrect and that my data is truncated. Any hints/tips/ideas on what is going on here would be greatly appreciated. Links to articles explaining byte layout and pixel formats etc. would be helpful. Thanks!! C++/CLI code. • How do you setup an gsp snippet in grails and with spring-security-core?

    - by egervari
    Hi, I have a block of gsp I'd like to reuse and make into a little gsp snippet: <sec:ifLoggedIn> <g:link controller="user" action="showProfile">My Profile</g:link> | <g:link controller="privateMessage" action="list">Inbox</g:link> | <g:link controller="user" action="showPreferences">Preferences</g:link> | <g:link controller="logout" action="index">Logout</g:link> </sec:ifLoggedIn> <sec:ifNotLoggedIn> <form id="loginForm" action="/myproject/j_spring_security_check" method="POST"> <fieldset> <input type='text' name='j_username' id='username' size="15" /> <input type='password' name='j_password' id='password' size="15" /> <input type="submit" value="Login" class="button" /> <a href="#">Register</a> </fieldset> </form> </sec:ifNotLoggedIn> I have learned that I can use g:render template="_loginStuff" to merge the template in with the rest of the markup.   • LLVM JIT segfaults. What am I doing wrong?

    - by bugspy.net
    It is probably something basic because I am just starting to learn LLVM.. The following creates a factorial function and tries to git and execute it (I know the generated func is correct because I was able to static compile and execute it). But I get segmentation fault upon execution of the function (in EE-runFunction(TheF, Args)) #include <iostream> #include "llvm/Module.h" #include "llvm/Function.h" #include "llvm/PassManager.h" #include "llvm/CallingConv.h" #include "llvm/Analysis/Verifier.h" #include "llvm/Assembly/PrintModulePass.h" #include "llvm/Support/IRBuilder.h" #include "llvm/Support/raw_ostream.h" #include "llvm/ExecutionEngine/JIT.h" #include "llvm/ExecutionEngine/GenericValue.h" using namespace llvm; Module* makeLLVMModule() { // Module Construction LLVMContext& ctx = getGlobalContext(); Module* mod = new Module("test", ctx); Constant* c = mod->getOrInsertFunction("fact64", /*ret type*/ IntegerType::get(ctx,64), IntegerType::get(ctx,64), /*varargs terminated with null*/ NULL); Function* fact64 = cast<Function>(c); fact64->setCallingConv(CallingConv::C); /* Arg names */ Function::arg_iterator args = fact64->arg_begin(); Value* x = args++; x->setName("x"); /* Body */ BasicBlock* block = BasicBlock::Create(ctx, "entry", fact64); BasicBlock* xLessThan2Block= BasicBlock::Create(ctx, "xlst2_block", fact64); BasicBlock* elseBlock = BasicBlock::Create(ctx, "else_block", fact64); IRBuilder<> builder(block); Value *One = ConstantInt::get(Type::getInt64Ty(ctx), 1); Value *Two = ConstantInt::get(Type::getInt64Ty(ctx), 2); Value* xLessThan2 = builder.CreateICmpULT(x, Two, "tmp"); //builder.CreateCondBr(xLessThan2, xLessThan2Block, cond_false_2); builder.CreateCondBr(xLessThan2, xLessThan2Block, elseBlock); /* Recursion */ builder.SetInsertPoint(elseBlock); Value* xMinus1 = builder.CreateSub(x, One, "tmp"); std::vector<Value*> args1; args1.push_back(xMinus1); Value* recur_1 = builder.CreateCall(fact64, args1.begin(), args1.end(), "tmp"); Value* retVal = builder.CreateBinOp(Instruction::Mul, x, recur_1, "tmp"); builder.CreateRet(retVal); /* x<2 */ builder.SetInsertPoint(xLessThan2Block); builder.CreateRet(One); return mod; } int main(int argc, char**argv) { long long x; if(argc > 1) x = atol(argv[1]); else x = 4; Module* Mod = makeLLVMModule(); verifyModule(*Mod, PrintMessageAction); PassManager PM; PM.add(createPrintModulePass(&outs())); PM.run(*Mod); // Now we going to create JIT ExecutionEngine *EE = EngineBuilder(Mod).create(); // Call the function with argument x: std::vector<GenericValue> Args(1); Args[0].IntVal = APInt(64, x); Function* TheF = cast<Function>(Mod->getFunction("fact64")) ; /* The following CRASHES.. */ GenericValue GV = EE->runFunction(TheF, Args); outs() << "Result: " << GV.IntVal << "\n"; delete Mod; return 0; }

  • Ad Server does not serve ads in Firefox, but works fine in Chrome, IE, & Safari!?

    - by HipHop-opatamus
    I'm having a strange (likely JavaScript) related issue. I'm running Open X Ad Server ( http://www.openx.org ) which serves ads to the website http://upsidedowndogs.com . The ads load fine every time when visiting the site via Chrome, IE, or Safari, but sometimes don't load at all in FireFox - Hence, it is a client side issue, which leads me to believe its something up with the javascript. The fact that the problem is intermittent, and does not through any error codes to FireBug, also doesn't make it any easier to diagnose and address. Any ideas how to diagnose / address this issue? Thanks! • IE8 Crashes Strangely on JavaScript Popup

    - by dkris
    Hi, I am facing a strange issue after the popup is created onclick. The popup opens up but hangs immediately on IE8 (works fine on all the other browsers including IE6). But on adding the alertbox as show in the JavaScript code, the popup works fine. I am using **https** and not **http** and i feel popup is not able to load the JS file because of SSL. Here is the how i am generating the onclick event: <a id="forgotPasswordLink" href="#" onclick="openSupportPage();"> Some Text </a> The onclick function is defined this way: function openSupportPage() { var features = "width=700,height=400,status=yes,toolbar=no,menubar=no,location=no,scrollbars=yes"; var winId = window.open('', '', features); winId.focus(); winId.document.open(); winId.document.write('<html><head><title>' + document.title + '</title><link rel="stylesheet" href="./css/default.css" type="text/css">\n'); var is_ie6 = ( window.external && typeof window.XMLHttpRequest == "undefined"); alert(is_ie6);/*The JS include below*/ /*works in popup only with this alert box.*/ /*else IE8 Hangs*/ winId.document.write('<script src="../js/tiny_mce/tiny_mce.js" type="text/javascript">Script_IE8</script>\n'); winId.document.write('<script type="text/javascript">\n'); winId.document.write('function inittextarea() {\n'); winId.document.write('tinyMCE.init({ \n'); winId.document.write('elements : "content",\n'); winId.document.write('theme : "advanced",\n'); winId.document.write('readonly : true,\n'); winId.document.write('mode : "exact",\n'); winId.document.write('theme : "advanced",\n'); winId.document.write('readonly : true,\n'); winId.document.write('setup : function(ed) {\n'); winId.document.write('ed.onInit.add(function() {\n'); winId.document.write('tinyMCE.activeEditor.execCommand("mceToggleVisualAid");\n'); winId.document.write('});\n'); winId.document.write('}\n'); winId.document.write('});}</script>\n'); winId.document.write('</head><body onload="inittextarea()">\n'); winId.document.write(' \n'); var hiddenFrameHTML = document.getElementById("HiddenFrame").innerHTML; hiddenFrameHTML = hiddenFrameHTML.replace(/&amp;/gi, "&"); hiddenFrameHTML = hiddenFrameHTML.replace(/&lt;/gi, "<"); hiddenFrameHTML = hiddenFrameHTML.replace(/&gt;/gi, ">"); winId.document.write(hiddenFrameHTML); winId.document.write('<textarea id="content" rows="10" style="width:100%">\n'); winId.document.write(document.getElementById(top.document.forms[0].id + ":supportStuff").innerHTML); winId.document.write('</textArea>\n'); var hiddenFrameHTML2 = document.getElementById("HiddenFrame2").innerHTML; hiddenFrameHTML2 = hiddenFrameHTML2.replace(/&amp;/gi, "&"); hiddenFrameHTML2 = hiddenFrameHTML2.replace(/&lt;/gi, "<"); hiddenFrameHTML2 = hiddenFrameHTML2.replace(/&gt;/gi, ">"); winId.document.write(hiddenFrameHTML2); winId.document.write('</body></html>\n'); winId.document.close(); } Please help me on this one.   • IErrorHandler doesn't seem to be handling my errors in WCF .. any ideas?

    - by John Nicholas
    Have been readign around on IErrorHandler and want to go the config route. so, I have read the following in an attempt to implement it. MSDN Keyvan Nayyeri blog about the type defintion Rory Primrose Blog I have got it to compile and from the various errors i have fixed it seems like WCF is actually loading the error handler. My problem is that the exception that i am throwing to handle in the error handler doesn;t get the exception passed to it. My service implementation simply calls a method on another class that throws ArgumentOutOfRangeException - however this exception never gets handled by the handler. My web.config <system.serviceModel> <bindings> <basicHttpBinding> <binding name="basic"> <security mode="None" /> </binding> </basicHttpBinding> </bindings> <extensions> <behaviorExtensions> <add name="customHttpBehavior" type="ErrorHandlerTest.ErrorHandlerElement, ErrorHandlerTest, Version=1.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=null" /> </behaviorExtensions> </extensions> <behaviors> <serviceBehaviors> <behavior name="exceptionHandlerBehaviour"> <serviceMetadata httpGetEnabled="true"/> <!-- To receive exception details in faults for debugging purposes, set the value below to true. Set to false before deployment to avoid disclosing exception information --> <serviceDebug includeExceptionDetailInFaults="true"/> <customHttpBehavior /> </behavior> </serviceBehaviors> </behaviors> <services> <service behaviorConfiguration="exceptionHandlerBehaviour" name="ErrorHandlerTest.Service1"> <endpoint binding="basicHttpBinding" bindingConfiguration="basic" contract="ErrorHandlerTest.IService1" /> </service> </services> Service Contract [ServiceContract] public interface IService1 { [OperationContract] [FaultContract(typeof(GeneralInternalFault))] string GetData(int value); } The ErrorHandler class public class ErrorHandler : IErrorHandler , IServiceBehavior { public bool HandleError(Exception error) { Console.WriteLine("caught exception {0}:",error.Message ); return true; } public void ProvideFault(Exception error, MessageVersion version, ref Message fault) { if (fault!=null ) { if (error is ArgumentOutOfRangeException ) { var fe = new FaultException<GeneralInternalFault>(new GeneralInternalFault("general internal fault.")); MessageFault mf = fe.CreateMessageFault(); fault = Message.CreateMessage(version, mf, fe.Action); } else { var fe = new FaultException<GeneralInternalFault>(new GeneralInternalFault(" the other general internal fault.")); MessageFault mf = fe.CreateMessageFault(); fault = Message.CreateMessage(version, mf, fe.Action); } } } public void AddBindingParameters(ServiceDescription serviceDescription, ServiceHostBase serviceHostBase, System.Collections.ObjectModel.Collection<ServiceEndpoint> endpoints, BindingParameterCollection bindingParameters) { } public void ApplyDispatchBehavior(ServiceDescription serviceDescription, ServiceHostBase serviceHostBase) { IErrorHandler errorHandler = new ErrorHandler(); foreach (ChannelDispatcherBase channelDispatcherBase in serviceHostBase.ChannelDispatchers) { ChannelDispatcher channelDispatcher = channelDispatcherBase as ChannelDispatcher; if (channelDispatcher != null) { channelDispatcher.ErrorHandlers.Add(errorHandler); } } } public void Validate(ServiceDescription serviceDescription, ServiceHostBase serviceHostBase) { } } And the Behaviour Extension Element public class ErrorHandlerElement : BehaviorExtensionElement { protected override object CreateBehavior() { return new ErrorHandler(); } public override Type BehaviorType { get { return typeof(ErrorHandler); } } }

  • DataTrigger inside ControlTemplate doesn't update

    - by kennethkryger
    I have a ListBox that is bound to a list of CustomerViewModel-objects, that each has two dependency properties: - Name (string) - Description (string) - IsVisible (bool) (the IsVisible property is True by default and is reversed via the ToggleVisibility Command on the CustomerViewModel) I would like to display the Name and Description to the right of a Border-control, that is has a Transparent background when the IsVisible property is True and Green when the False. My problem is that the DataTrigger part of the code below doesn't work the way I want, because the Setter-part isn't triggered when the IsVisible is changed. What am I doing wrong? Here's my code: <UserControl.Resources> <Style x:Key="ListBoxStyle" TargetType="{x:Type ListBox}"> <Setter Property="Margin" Value="-1,-1,0,0" /> <Setter Property="BorderThickness" Value="0" /> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Transparent" /> <Setter Property="ItemContainerStyle" Value="{DynamicResource ListboxItemStyle}" /> <Setter Property="ScrollViewer.HorizontalScrollBarVisibility" Value="Disabled" /> </Style> <Style x:Key="ListboxItemStyle" TargetType="{x:Type ListBoxItem}"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Transparent" /> <Setter Property="FocusVisualStyle" Value="{x:Null}" /> <Setter Property="Template"> <Setter.Value> <ControlTemplate TargetType="{x:Type ListBoxItem}"> <Grid> <Border x:Name="border" Background="{TemplateBinding Background}" BorderBrush="#FFD4D6D5" BorderThickness="0,0,0,1"> <Grid Height="70" Margin="0,0,10,0"> <Grid.RowDefinitions> <RowDefinition Height="10" /> <RowDefinition Height="Auto" /> <RowDefinition /> <RowDefinition Height="10" /> </Grid.RowDefinitions> <Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <ColumnDefinition Width="Auto" /> <ColumnDefinition /> </Grid.ColumnDefinitions> <Border x:Name="visibilityColumn" Grid.Row="0" Grid.Column="0" Grid.RowSpan="4" Background="Transparent" Width="4" Margin="0,0,4,0" /> <TextBlock x:Name="customerName" Grid.Row="1" Grid.Column="1" Foreground="#FF191919" FontWeight="Bold" Text="{Binding Name}" VerticalAlignment="Top" /> <TextBlock Grid.Row="2" Grid.Column="1" VerticalAlignment="Stretch" Text="{Binding Description}" TextWrapping="Wrap" Foreground="#FFB4B4B4" TextTrimming="CharacterEllipsis" /> </Grid> <Border.ContextMenu> <ContextMenu> <MenuItem Header="Edit..." /> <MenuItem Header="Visible" IsCheckable="True" IsChecked="{Binding IsVisible}" Command="{Binding ToggleVisibility}"/> </ContextMenu> </Border.ContextMenu> </Border> </Grid> <ControlTemplate.Triggers> <Trigger Property="IsMouseOver" Value="True"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="#FFEEEEEE" /> </Trigger> <Trigger Property="IsSelected" Value="True"> <Setter Property="Background" Value="#FFF5F5F5" /> <Setter TargetName="customerName" Property="Foreground" Value="Green" /> </Trigger> <DataTrigger Binding="{Binding IsVisible}" Value="False"> <!--If Value="True" the customerName Border shows up green!--> <Setter Property="Background" Value="Green" /> </DataTrigger> </ControlTemplate.Triggers> </ControlTemplate> </Setter.Value> </Setter> </Style> </UserControl.Resources> <ListBox Style="{StaticResource ListBoxStyle}" ItemsSource="{Binding CustomerViewModels}" />
