• UISegmentedControl - how to toggle between 2 UITableViews

  I have a tab bar based application. What is the best way to toggle between 2 different UITableView views? Should I use a wrapper view and add those 2 views to it and depending on which segment was chosen I will show the correct view? Using only one tableView will not work because the layout is different between those 2 tableviews. Thanks

• Is it possible to mix a named pipe with select in perl?

  Is there a way to only show the items that are older than a certain date in a php mysql array? I'm using this query method and sorting by lastpost_cl: $query="SELECT * FROM properties ORDER BY lastpost_cl"; $result=mysql_query($query); $num = mysql_num_rows ($result); mysql_close(); and I was thinking the way of checking the time would be: if (time() <= strtotime($lastpost_cl)) { } How can I combine the two and only show lastpost_cl that are older that the current time?

• Webkit ondrop event while dragging

  I'm trying to drag one img and so it fires ondragenter for IE and dragover event for standard browsers, on IE and FF after the user drags it could fire ondrop event however on Webkit based (chrome and safari), i need to cancel or preventDefault() on the dragover event, doing that so will disable the dragging.   I execute a core data fetch which specifies a predicate as follows: NSPredicate *predicate = [NSPredicate predicateWithFormat:@"identifier IN %@", favoritesIDs]; When there are duplicate items in the favoriteIDs array, the fetch request only returns 1 managed object. • How to reduce compile time with C++ templates

  I'm in the process of changing part of my C++ app from using an older C type array to a templated C++ container class. See this question for details. While the solution is working very well, each minor change I make to the templated code causes a very large amount of recompilation to take place, and hence drastically slows build time. Is there any way of getting template code out of the header and back into a cpp file, so that minor implementation changes don't cause major rebuilds?

• How can I display different icons for same file extension

  Visual Studio has *.SLN files for 2008, and 2010. In explorer, the icon associated with the file is based on the version somehow. I was always under the impression that the associated icon just looked at the extension, but obviously there is more going on. Hudson authenticates users against our Windows domain AD, and the project based security matrix makes it easy to manage who can access which projects. Remaining issue is, that most of the projects use git over ssh. Is there a way to make shared Hudson access git so that each project could create their and manage their own jobs without compromising security?
