  • any good free C DSP library?

    Hi everybody I am developing an application to process geophysical signals; Right now I have done everything in octave and its digital signal processing toolbox, speed is not bad, however the application specifications say I need to port to the final algorithm to C; I am doing lots of filtering, re-sampling and signal manipulation/characterization with FFTs and cepstrums. do you know a good free C library for DSP packaged with filter design, resampling, fft, etc?   • Webview crash with Garbage Collector ON

    Hi, I have a very specific web page that causes webview to crash with the Garnage Collector ON (does not crash when OFF). Easy to reproduce: create a document base application, drop a webview, and have the following line (button perhaps). - (void)connectSearch:(id)sender { [[webView mainFrame] loadRequest:[NSURLRequest requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"http://apple.com"]]]; } I guess this scenario is only valid while Apple advertises their new iPad. At the bottom of the page there is two video you can watch. Click on the one on the right. When it is playing, click on the Close button (link) top left - which sends #SwapViewPreviousSelection - and that's it, it crashes. I'm just learning about the garbage collector but I suspect something is collected that should not. Any idea what can prevent the crash, other than turning off the garbage collector? Thank you.   • How do you add a listbox as an input parameter UI element in SSRS 2008?

    I have to add a listbox/dropdownlist to a report in a Visual Studio Business Intelligence project, allowing users to filter a DataSet by the Id of the entity chosen in the listbox. I heard this was possible, but there is no option to add a listbox in the Toolbox in Visual Studio, and looking at the Report Definition on microsoft.com, there's nothing there about a listbox. What am I doing wrong here?

  • MATLAB command for exporting geometry from pdetool

    I'm writing a MATLAB script which solves for the eigenmodes of a defined polygon. MATLAB's PDE toolbox lets me define the geometry using the command pdepoly() but I need to export the geometry description matrix manually to the workspace through the GUI before I can decompose, mesh, and solve the pde. Does anyone know either a command to export the geometry to the workspace or a better way to define this geometry description matrix in MATLAB? Many Thanks

  • How to adding a toolbar (like google traslate) to a webpage opened through a link for saving/process

    Hello, lets say I have bunch of hyperlinks. When link is clicked, I'd like an opened page (in a separate window) to have a google-translator style toolbox that I could use to save the page to a localdisk if I liked it, adding a few tags to the database using php. I understand how to save a file using php, but could You help me with ideas as how to add a toolbar and to send request from toolbar to my processing page?   • Custom Items in Lists in C# forms?

    I'm a bit new to the C#-form app developing and I want know, what's the best way around at making a control that holds a list of horizontal items. In which each of these items are horizontally ruled to it's parent control, contain a thumbnail to the left and a large text block to the right of image and a smaller text block underneath that. So basically this isn't a predefined control I can find in the toolbox. Any ideas?

  • Dynamically creating objects at runtime that inherit from a base class

    I am writing a game editor, and have a lot of different "tool" objects. They all inherit from BTool and have the same constructor. I would like to dynamically populate a toolbox at runtime with buttons that correspond to these tools, and when clicked have them create an instance of that tool and set it as the current tool. Is this possible, and if so will it be better/easier than creating those buttons by hand?
