• Pressing tab to indent a list moves to the next table cell

  I have a list (e.g., a bulleted list) in Microsoft Word. This list is inside a table cell. When I press Tab to increase the indent, rather than increasing the indent, it moves the cursor to the next cell. When I try Ctrl+Tab, it just inserts a tab character without changing the indentation of the bullet (paragraph). How can I turn this off, so it does not go to the next cell but rather just indents the list?

• Excel 2007: "Format as Table" Increments Column Names

  I love using the formatting styles for tables in Excel 2007, but in my data I'm using the same column name for multiple columns. When I format my table using the pre-defined styles, it automatically adds an incremental number to each subsequent column name which I don't want. Is there any way to stop this from happening? If I attempt to manually rename the column back to the original name, it automatically appends the incremented number.

Previously I used a google form to manage member registration, but now as the number of users becomes quite big I am switching to mysql. Currently I have around 500 members in the database, saved in a google spreadsheet. How can I do a bulk import from a google spreadsheet to a table in mysql? BTW I'm using phpmyadmin, so a solution for phpmyadmin is preferable :) Thanks.

I see counters on the postrouting rule getting incremented but no packet leaving the machine. So does it mean the packet is DROPPED automatically?

• Saving table yields "Record is too large" in Access

  I have an access database that I gave to a user (shame on my head). They were having trouble with some data being too long, so I suggested changing several text fields to memo fields. I tried this in my copy and it worked perfectly, but when the user tries it they get a "Record is too large" messagebox on saving the modified table design. Obviously the same record is not too large in my database, why would it be in theirs?

• Switches with large MAC address table?

  Does anyone know which switches have a large MAC address table ? I see most switches having only 8K, but we need to store way, way more than that (hundreds of K). I know this may seem odd, but trust me, there's no other way we can make our setup work. The only thing we seem to be able to do is install Juniper routers that store up to 1M addresses, but that will get quite costly and we'd rather avoid doing that.

  Hello, I have two models: class Model1(): name = CharField() url = CharField() class Model2(): model1 = ForeignKey(Model1) user = ForeignKey(User) zzz = CharField() There are 5 rows for model1 in the database, these are fixed and will rarely change. I need to display a formset for model2 that allows users to enter the zzz value, the formset must always show one form per row in the model1 table, the label for each form in the formset must be the name of the related model1. If the user deletes a model2 in the formset the next time the page loads it will render an empty zzz value for that form and the user must be able to edit the previous zzz value - meaning it must be pre populated with all model2 rows associated with the user. The idea is to print each row in the model1 table as a form instead of the user selecting the related model1 name in a select box. I know its not that complicated, but I'm seriously stumped and keep going round in circles!! Many thanks in advance. • Ajaxing a link in a table

  I have a table of results in an ASP.Net MVC page where the last column is an View Details link. I want to have the user click the View Details link and an AJAX method be called to open the results in floating dialog. What I am struggling with is how to link the AJAX call to the link in the results table. I was using a link which embedded the ~/ControllerName/ViewDetails/InstanceId link directly in it. Clicking it took the user to a new page and it is this behaviour I want to replace with an AJAX call and a dialog window. Now I want to attach a jQuery handler to the link to trigger the AJAX call and I can't see how to do this other than write an jQuery handler for each row in the results table. There must be a way to mark the link as an ViewDetails link (using a class?) and attach the jQuery click handler to all instances of type class ViewDetails.

They write that I have to add a table android_metadata with a column called locale and put en_US into it. I try to figure out what this table is used for. Because my database content is german. Maybe i then should not put en_US into it? Is this required for localisation of the database content or is the table not needed at all?

  My program has 4 buttons and each button calls a different table view. That works fine, but my problem is, the view controller I'm using brings up a table view that covers up my navigation bar and my tab bar. I need to replace that coding with something that will bring up a table and not cover up my nav and tab bars.   Hi, I would like to construct a hash table that looks up keys in sequences (strings) of bytes ranging from 1 to 15 bytes. I would like to store an integer value, so I imagine an array for hashing would suffice. I'm having difficulty conceptualizing how to construct a hash function such that given the key would give an index into the array. Any assistance would be much appreiated. The maximum number of entries in the hash is: 4081*15 + 4081*14 + ... 4081 = 4081((15*(16))/2) = 489720. So for example: int table[489720]; int lookup(unsigned char *key) { int index = hash(key); return table[index]; } How can I compute hash(key). I'd preferably like to get a perfect hash function.   So I'd like to make a visible table, with a border around each cell and a different background color for the header. I'd like to eventually insert controls into this. For example, put a textfield inside one of the table elements, or some radio buttons, etc. Is there a control for this? I've narrowed it down to two possibilities, but they both seem kind of "meh": use the Grid Control - I like this but is there a way to color the border on the cell (I did not find this) use the DataGrid Control - this control is just way too complicated for what I need. I'm just looking for an html style table in silverlight, any ideas?

• super dealloc error using multiple table view calsses

  I am new to Iphone apps and I am trying to build a tab based app. I am attempting to have a table ontop of an image in both tabs. On tab with a table of audio links and the other tab with a table of video links. This has all gone swimmingly, I have created two viewControllers for the two tables. All the code works great apart from to get it to work I have to comment out the super dealloc in the - (void)dealloc {} in the videoTableViewController for the second tab. If I don't I get the error message: FREED(id): message numberOfSectionsInTableView: sent to freed object please help, i have no idea why it is doing this...

• Entity Framework - Using a lookup (picklist) table with a lookup key

  I'm working on a WPF application that is working well using the Entity Framework (3.5 SP1) for complicated table structures. The problem now is I want to get a list from the EF that includes lookups into a picklist table that has multiple picklists in it. In SQL I would write a sub select as such: SELECT Name, (Select typeName from PickLists where type_id = items.type_id and picklist_key=333) as Type_desc FROM Items There are no Foreign keys for this, and the picklists table is never updated using the EF, so it is read only as far as the EF is concerned. I'm not sure the best method to put this into the model if at all. I'm displaying in a read-only datagrid on a dashboard. Thanks!
