    I'm using Boost.Spirit which was distributed with Boost-1.42.0 with VS2005. My problem is like this. I've this string which was delimted with commas. The first 3 fields of it are strings and rest are numbers. like this. String1,String2,String3,12.0,12.1,13.0,13.1,12.4 My rule is like this qi::rule<string::iterator, qi::skip_type> stringrule = *(char_ - ',') qi::rule<string::iterator, qi::skip_type> myrule= repeat(3)[*(char_ - ',') >> ','] >> (double_ % ',') ; I'm trying to store the data in a structure like this. struct MyStruct { vector<string> stringVector ; vector<double> doubleVector ; } ; MyStruct var ; I've wrapped it in BOOST_FUSION_ADAPT_STRUCTURE to use it with spirit. BOOST_FUSION_ADAPT_STRUCT (MyStruct, (vector<string>, stringVector) (vector<double>, doubleVector)) My parse function parses the line and returns true and after qi::phrase_parse (iterBegin, iterEnd, myrule, boost::spirit::ascii::space, var) ; I'm expecting var.stringVector and var.doubleVector are properly filled. but it is not the case.     Hi. So I am in need to learn how to use soapUI pretty quick. I'm finding it pretty tedious to start so I was hoping I might be able to get some help here. Here's what I need to do. Lets say we have Company A and Company B which is a subset of Company B. Now Company A offers a webservice accessible by Company B such that Company B can gather daily aggregated data from Company A's database. Now Company B wants to take this data and publish it on their website. What I'd like is a very basic overview of what I need to do to extract and parse the data onto a website. Just the outline of the process so I can get started. What languages should I be using at what stages and what not. Any help would be highly appreciated.

  • FasterCSV Parsing issue?

    G'day guys, I'm currently using fastercsv to construct ActiveRecord elements and I can't for the life of me see this bug (tired), but for some reason when it creates, if in the rake file i output the column I want to save as the element value, it puts out correctly, as either a Trade or a Quote but when I try to save it into the activerecord, it won't work. Name and Type are both strings, every other value works except for type. Have I missed something really simple?

    Hello, I need to parse plain Win32 DLL/Exe and need to get all imports and exports from it and to show it on console or GUI(say Win Forms). Is it possible to parse Win32 DLL/Exe in C#.NET, read its export table,import table and get managed types from it. As its unmanaged PE(.NET doesn't allows you to convert unmanaged PE files to managed .NET assemblies, only it generates COM managed assemblies). So how to parse export and import tables of PE files and take all methods(signatures from it) in managed form.(e.g if char* as argument, it should display as IntPtr) Regards Usman

So my question becomes - how from XML do I set a NSDate property?     I've read several articles that tell you how to add text to the output window in visual studio from within an Add-On (specifically, a visual studio 2008 integration package, via the visual studio 2008 SDK 1.1), but no examples of how to read text from the output window. My goal is to parse text from the debug output window while debugging a certain application (TRACE output and possibly stdin/stdout). The IVsOutputWindowPane interface has no methods for reading in text from the output window. The documentation seems to imply that it is possible, but it doesn't provide an example: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb166236(VS.80).aspx Quote: In addition, the OutputWindow and OutputWindowPane objects add some higher-level functionality to make it easier to enumerate the Output window panes and to retrieve text from the panes.   • Parsing an RFC822-Datetime in .NETMF 4.0

    I have an application written in .NETMF that requires that I be able to parse an RFC822-Datetime. Normally, this would be easy, but NETMF does not have a DateTime.parse() method, nor does it have some sort of a pattern matching implementation, so I'm pretty much stuck. Any ideas? EDIT: "Intelligent" solutions are probably needed. Part of the reason this is difficult is that the datetime in question has a tendency to have extra spaces in it (but only sometimes). A simple substring solution might work one day, but fail the next when the datetime has an extra space somewhere between the parts. I do not have control over the datetime, it is from the NOAA.

    I'm trying to parse the output from a tool into a data structure but I'm having some difficulty getting things right. The file looks like this: Fruits Apple Auxiliary Core Extras Banana Something Coconut Vegetables Eggplant Rutabaga You can see that top-level items are indented by one space, and items beneath that are indented by two spaces for each level. The items are also in alphabetical order. How do I turn the file into a Python list that's something like ["Fruits", "Fruits/Apple", "Fruits/Banana", ..., "Vegetables", "Vegetables/Eggplant", "Vegetables/Rutabaga"]?

But if i open the text file in wordpad or ms-word, the data is correctly displayed. What could be the error?

    Hello , I using tdom version 0.8.2 to parse html pages. From the help pages I found the following commands to get the ElementById TCL code set html {<html> <head> </head> <body> <div id="m"> </div> </body> </html> } package require tdom set doc [ dom parse -html $html ] set node [ $doc getElementById m] But when I execute the second set command I get a empty string . But cleary the tag has an id of m . Can someone tell where am I going wrong ? Regards, Mithun

  • What are some alternatives to word processing with Markdown?

    I've used MS Word-style editors for a long time, but I never got used to how unintuitive and cumbersome they are. I'm not talking specifically about MS Word, but also other editors that seem to mimic Word, like OpenOffice, NeoOffice, etc. I've found myself preferring to write in Markdown (much like on this site). I've found a few good Markdown editors, and I like using them a lot more than using Word-style editors. Here is what they generally look like: As you can see, it works much differently than a Word-style editor. This is a generally cleaner way of writing, since formatting is done right in the text, and is extremely simple to use (no highlighting some text, then clicking a button in some menu you have to find). Although editing text this way is great, I've realized that the syntax can only be used for very specific needs (bullets, numbered lists, headings and sub-headings, bold, italic, and some other common ones). However, many features are missing. Here are some features that would be nice in a word processor: Tables. Indenting paragraphs. Good image support (you can link to images, but not add them, since Markdown is just text). More simple to use than Word and its cronies. Cross-platform. Some of these can be fixed with in-line HTML, but nobody wants to do that. It seems Markdown was designed for editing text on the internet. Is there a similar setup that works better for desktop word processors?

    TLDR: Want to get each heading from an array and insert it into a div without knowing what is inside the div using Jquery - getJSON. I have JSON array lets say: jsonfeed({ "items": [ { "d":{"title":"034324324-22344231-10"} }, { "d"{"title":"23423404-3423422-10"} }, { "d"{"title":"0234234324-32432422-10"} }, { "d"{"title":"0234234324-223534534-10"} ] }) And I want to parse it as for each "title" to insert it into a div. Trying along the lines of $.getJSON(url, function(data){ $.each(data.items, function(i,item){ $('#testfield').html('<p>' + item.d.title + '</p>'); }); }); to no avail. I am using Getjson in other places but in cases where I know what request I am making. e.g: $('#livetime').html(data.Time); Which is all working perfectly fine but in this case I need to get the details out of the array without knowing what is inside the array I'm sure there is something simple that I'm missing here or doing wrong ^^.

    I have a document with dynamic image and dynamic text and would like the text around the image. The image is right aligned on the landscape page. I tried doing this http://stackoverflow.com/questions/2085151/ruby-prawn-how-to-wrap-text-around-an-aligned-right-image but it didn't work. Help is appreciated, thanks.

    TLDR: Started with this question simplified it after got some of it working and continuing it here. I need to 'GET' the JSON array Format it correctly and for each within the array place it in the corresponding DIV. ?? It works. This is a followup from this question to simplify and continue. I need to some complicated JSON data from an array. With it I need the title and it's value. The reason why I am doing this is because I will know what the array is called but not the data that is being generated inside it. Lets say this new array looks as follows: {"Days": ["Sunday":"10.00", "Monday":"12.00", "Tuesday":"09.00", "Wednesday":"10.00", "Thursday":"02.00", "Friday":"05.00", "Saturday":"08.00"] } I would need it to get Sunday & 10.00 as well as the same for all of the others. My code to parse this at the moment is as follows: $.getJSON(url, function(data){ $.each(data, function(i,item){ $('.testfield').append('<p>' + item + '</p>'); }); }); Without the added times on each date it will parse the data as follows: Sunday, Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday With the times added to the days in the array Firebug no longer recognizes it as a JSON string. So I am guessing I have formatted something wrong here. Also, I need each day & time to be on a new line I thought that $('.testfield').append('<p>' + item + '</p>' + '<br />'); Would have applied each one to a new line but that did not work. How do I get each day or item to be on a new line? How do I get the $getjson to parse the data correctly day and its value, into a div?

I am using the XML parser in Oracle (XMLType) with XPath but am struggling since I can't figure out the way to parse the SOAP request because it has multiple namespaces. The idea was to define classes that parsed each PARAM type and to keep track of which class to use in the PARAM's CLASS attribute. In code I have a config class that manages the list of profiles and a profile class that manages the list of params. I would like the profile class to handle additional param types (that inherit BaseParam) without modification to the profile class (or at the very least with minimal modification). First of all, is this design viable? If so, what are some ways I could use different param classes and have their creation at run-time be automatic (the profile class sees the CLASS attribute and knows which type to create)?

  • Concatenating text in an ASP.NET localized label

    Trying to localize text in ASP.NET labels... want to add a ':' after the localized text. I could just add the ':' to the localized text in the resource file, but that seems silly... there should be an easy way to do this. <asp:Label id="RoleTypeLabel" runat="server" Text='<%$ Resources: GS3, RoleTypeLabel %>:' AssociatedControlID="RoleTypeDropDown"></asp:Label> (note the ':' at the end of Text='...') Of course, this doesn't work... and neither does anything I can think of to concatenate a ':' onto the end of the localized text. Anyone know how to do it? TIA, James

  • PHP XML Strategy: Parsing DOM to fill "Bean"

    I have a question concerning a good strategy on how to fill a data "bean" with data inside an xml file. The bean might look like this: class Person { var $id; var $forename = ""; var $surname = ""; var $bio = new Biography(); } class Biography { var $url = ""; var $id; } the xml subtree containing the info might look like this: <root> <!-- some more parent elements before node(s) of interest --> <person> <name pre="forename"> Foo </name> <name pre="surname"> Bar </name> <id> 1254 </id> <biography> <url> http://www.someurl.com </url> <id> 5488 </id> </biography> </person> </root> At the moment, I have one approach using DOMDocument. A method iterates over the entries and fills the bean by "remembering" the last node. I think thats not a good approach. What I have in mind is something like preconstructing some xpath expression(s) and then iterate over the subtrees/nodeLists. Return an array containing the beans as defined above eventually. However, it seems not to be possible reusing a subtree /DOMNode as DOMXPath constructor parameter. Has anyone of you encountered such a problem?
