  • xampp php not working

    so I have my PHP file (it all works fine the php side of it I know this for a fact) located in xampp's htdocs 'contact.php' so In my webpage I have it linked up to there "http://localhost/contact.php" however when I press the button and it runs the php i get "Not Found HTTP Error 404. The requested resource is not found." am I linking it wrong? have I put it in the wrong folder (should I put it in the php www folder / how do I link that up?) cheers

Is this possible without the browser popping up a warning? When I do this on IE8, I get the following message: Do you want to view only the webpage content that was delivered securely? Essentially, I'm asking about the inverse of question 1554237.

  • Problem running apps fullscreen in emulator

    I've created a device targeting 2.1 and having a screen screen size of 480x800 (WVGA). Some apps, including the one I'm currently writing, as well as the ApiDemos example, won't run fullscreen. I've uploaded a screenshot here: http://img248.imageshack.us/img248/503/emulator.png What could cause something like this? If I run these apps on my HTC Desire (which has the same resolution), they utilize the whole screen like they should.

    Hi! I've been having a bit of a problem with jQuery and XHTML. Basically, I've got an object tag that contains a Web Page in its data attribute. Now, what I want is that when I click a button I get this web page and dinamically change the CSS file it's currently using. I've tried to get the page by using jquery, but all I get is the object itself, not the webpage contained in the object. Thanks!! :)

    I need to get the pageYOffset of the bottom of the viewable area, whether the user is zoomed in on the webpage or not, on Mobile Safari ( iPhone ). However pageYOffset returns the offset from the upper left corner of the window. Spec: "pageYOffset properties returns the pixels the current document has been scrolled from the upper left corner of the window" How do you get the page y offset from the bottom of the viewable area, (zoomed in or not) on the iPhone via Javascript?

I think it is not possible by checking the css class, as some other style may overwrite the styles of the class which has been assinged to that text.     This is my first time building a responsive site, and as I tailor the CSS for the iPhone I'm running into a problem. The styles all apply correctly, the text changes size and the wrapper changes widths. The problem is the iPhone browser still opens up at a huge width, see the screenshot: I'm using @media all and (max-device-width: 480px) {} to set the specific iPhone css. body {width:;} doesn't work.
