jQuery Appending to Parent

I have an iFrame on the page, how can I append an element to the parent page?
Current Code:
$content = $div("body").append(
$close = $div("Close")
);
Something like this would be nice:
$content = parent.$div("body").append(
$close = $div("Close")
);
Any ideas StackOverflow wizards?
