Then I used this command line: jar -cvf Tester.jar Tester.class The .jar file was created but nothing seems to work. What did I miss?

    As no one can help me with my UJS ajax problem I am trying "respond_with", but I am getting this error: RuntimeError (In order to use respond_with, first you need to declare the formats your controller responds to in the class level) Yet I have declared it in my controller: class HomepagesController < ApplicationController respond_to :html, :xml, :js def index @homepages = Homepage.search(params[:search]) respond_with(@homepages) end Anyone has any ideas why.

    For a data-binding application, I am trying to draw parallels among RelaxNG, C++ and C. RelaxNG.Elements === C++.Class === C.Struct RelaxNG.Attributes === C++.class-members === C.structure-members Only that the Elements in RelaxNG can also have a data-type (i.e. it seems Attribute is a special case of the Element). Do I have the above equivalence correct? If I use the above convention in my implementation, will I be breaking some data-binding libraries?

    Hi guys, I've got this table CREATE TABLE `subevents` ( `id` int(11) NOT NULL AUTO_INCREMENT, `title` varchar(150) DEFAULT NULL, `content` text, `class` tinyint(4) NOT NULL DEFAULT '1', PRIMARY KEY (`id`) ) ENGINE=MyISAM Each row can have a different value in the 'class' field. I'd like to select any number of rows, ordered randomly, as long as the sum of the values in the 'class' field is equal to 100. How could I accomplish it directly in the MySQL query without doing it later in PHP? Thanks everybody!

    I have a class with contructure like this public UserRepository(IBlockRepository blockRepos) { } and again, I have another class with the constructure function like this public BlockRepository(IUserRepository userRepo) { } this cause the Windsor error : Castle.MicroKernel.Handlers.HandlerException: Can't create component 'UserRepository' as it has dependencies to be satisfied.   • IBOutlets are always nil

    Hi, In IB I have subclassed the File Owner and the subclass loads my .nib. The subclass itself doesn't need access to the IBOutlets so they're instance variables in another class, which I added as a subclass of NSObject in the .nib. Then I connected the interface elements to that object. But somehow, in the class that "owns" the IBOutlets, they show up as nil. What am I doing wrong here?

  • Problem with thread after SCREEN_OFF in Android

    I’m doing an application that listens to the android.intent.action.SCREEN_OFF in a Service (if that matter) and then it is supposed to wait a few seconds and launch an action, I’ve tried a timer schedule method, thread and handler postDelay method but all of them seems to fail, they are never executed on a device, it seems like it’s being freezed/killed after phone is locked. It works on emulator and on device attached to USB, but never with device working on battery only, which actually is a main scenario. Do you know any solutions to this?
