  • file copy error from system to cifs mount

    When coping a file greater than 64kB from an Ubuntu server to a CIFS mounted windows share, most of the data is copied, but it seems the last chunk doesn't get copied. The size doesn't match, and the md5 check sums don't match. I have plenty of file space, but then I use cp, I get the following... cp: closing `cloudBackup/asdf.txt': No space left on device Using rsync, I get the following... rsync: close failed on "/home/fluffy/cloudBackup/.asdf.txt.qrBWe6": No space left on device (28) rsync error: error in file IO (code 11) at receiver.c(752) [receiver=3.0.8] rsync: connection unexpectedly closed (29 bytes received so far) [sender] rsync error: error in rsync protocol data stream (code 12) at io.c(601) [sender=3.0.8] I have full read/write permissions on the mounted share. I can copy locally and between the mount and system via SSH just fine. Any ideas? Thank you

  • Outlook 2007 message formatting - pasted images

    When you cut and past an image into a message window when composing a new email, the image will display as you would expect and formatting the image appears straight forward, However the pain happens when you click send. The recipient notices that the image will resize with the size of there outlook window. The original image size is ignored and no scrollbars appear. Howe do you stop this behaviour. When said image is pasted, say you want to place a graphic on top of the image such as an arrow. By using the ribbon, selecting the insert tab and choosing shapes, you go ahead and select the arrow shape and plonk it on to of the image, just where you want it, give it a nice colour and then send the email. As the recipient resizes there outlook message window, the image resizes but the shape remains where it was, now who wants that micros*a*ft! So, how do you A) make the shape resize with the image, so the shape stays where I put it in relation to the image, and b) stop the image resizing in the first place.

  • Unable to mount 1TB USB external HDD - Error

    Hi, I'm getting an error when I plug in my 1TB USB external HDD, the wierd thing about this is that it was working fine before and I've been using it for about a couple of months now. yesterday I compressed one of the folders which had about 120GB of data but the compression failed after an hour and I decided to unmount the drive and shut everything down.   • Set Error-Pages for all Applications in Tomcat

    I'm trying to set up custom error pages in tomcat 6, because I don't want the default ones to show up. My error pages are static html, no jsp or anything dynamic. I know how to do this through the web.xml in each application but I'd prefere to setup the error pages only once for the entire server. I tried to add the following fragment to the global web.xml (in conf), but no matter what I add under location, it does not show. <error-page> <error-code>404</error-code> <location>/404.html</location> </error-page> What do I need to do to gobally define custom error pages?   • Extract data from delinked Excel plot

    I have a Word file which has some Excel plots in it. Unfortunately I lost the original excel plots and the word file is now 'de-linked'. Is there a way to retrieve the lost data for the plots? Just copying the plot back to Excel does not seem to work, but I can see that the data is still there somewhere, because hovering over a dot on the plot shows the values.   • GRUB- error: no such partition grub rescue and Error: No default or UI configuration directive found boot > on pendrive

    I have dell inspiron, previously I installed Ubuntu 11.10 on my Windows 7 and made it dual boot. But since I want to upgrade my Ubuntu version and change the partition spacing, I deleted 11.10 partition directly and extended my hardrive space (Windows + Ubuntu) at that moment everything was fine. Then I prepared a 12.04 32bit USB and installed it . It was installed but isn't showing dual boot option like 11.10 and my machine directly boot into Windows 7. So instantly i again deleted my 12.04 partition . Now I login into Windows 7 but whenever I put USB ( with 12.04 ) to boot from it, I am facing error of "no such partition grub rescue" even though I try to put lower version(11.04) it showing another error "Error: No default or UI configuration directive found boot " I have reinstall Windows 7 and reformat all partition, still I am facing same error :(

  • Error running phusion passenger in standalone mode

    I'm trying to run standalone phusion passenger so that I can run different ruby rvm configurations on the same host. I already have ruby and passenger running fine on this host. I am following the instructions here. When I run standalone passenger the first time, it appears to successfully install nginx.     If you tried to install the Visual Studio 2010 Express project and item templates of MVVM Light V3 SP1 (with the Windows Phone tools hotfix), you may have encountered an error when unzipping the package, telling you that a file was corrupted. This error was reported to me a couple of times, and I was able to reproduce the issue. I just published a new version that takes care of this issue. If you encountered that error when installing, please download the new version and try again. Note that the error was only there for the Visual Studio 2010 Express version of the templates. Use source: Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003" 1st got this message after CD was inserted to recover partial file STDP11N. Recovered STDP11N, however, still receiving pop up window with error message each time outlook opens. Had accidentally cleaned up old programs and suddenly this was missing. Reinstalled Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003 using install CD. Outlook worked buit keep getting error message pop up each time I open Outlook. Hit ok. Error Message #2: The path 'Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003' cannot be found. Verify that you have access to this location and try again, or try to find the installation package 'STDP11N.MSI' in a folder from which you can install the product Microsoft Office Small Business Edition 2003." Hit ok. Back to error message #1 Hit close window Error message #3: Error 1706. Setup cannot find the required files. Check your connection to the network, or CD-ROM drive. For other potential solutions to this problem, see C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\ OFFICE11\1033\SETUP.CHM Error message #4 I'd created a file under D: drive on an external drive.   • Upgraded Ubuntu 12.04 -> 12.10 and Drupal 7 site now get error

    I do all my Drupal 7 webdev and today I took advantage to upgrade my local WebDev box O/S to Ubuntu 12.10 from 12.04 and now I get the following errors for all my D7 projects on my localhost WebDev box (Ubuntu 12.10) It was all fine pre Ubuntu 12.04: Error The website encountered an unexpected error. Please try again later. Error message PDOException: SQLSTATE[42000]: Syntax error or access violation: 1286 Unknown storage engine 'InnoDB': SELECT expire, value FROM {semaphore} WHERE name = :name; Array ( [:name] => variable_init ) in lock_may_be_available() (line 167 of /var/www/jobsdaily/includes/lock.inc). A quick research and look into the phpmyadmin (3.4.11.1) and it seems InnoDB is an issue and when I click on a table to see data I get #1286 - Unknown storage engine 'InnoDB'. I have all my D7 sql backed up, but don't really want to go down the whole 'import' route, since it's 10 months work! Anyone had this issues and can anyone suggest fix ideas? Thanks

  • Another VSeWSS Error Resolved (List Template not installed on Farm)

    Ran into a minor snag today trying to deploy a project with VSeWSS 1.3 - during the deployment it gave me the following error: Error    32    VSeWSS Service Error: Feature '2ade6552-200e-4425-8af5-f1f50c115b7e' for list template '10001' is not installed in this farm.  The operation could not be completed. At first glance, it looked my features were not installing in the correct order because the solution was installing a list that required a custom list definition before the custom list definition was being installed.  After switching the order in the WSP view (View -> Other Windows -> WSP View) -- you can use the up and down arrows on the view pane to switch feature installation order - I had the same error. I decided to try deleting the list, but upon visiting the list in the web interface I received a similar error about how the feature was not installed on the farm.  As such, I could not delete the list through the web interface.  Fortunately, the stsadm.exe tool worked just fine: stsadm.exe -o forcedeletelist -url <urltolisthere>

    I'm trying to understand the tutorial 16 at http://ogldev.atspace.co.uk, which requires the image processing library ImageMagick. But when I run the tutorial, I encountered an following error: freeglut: failed to change scree settings Error loading textures 'test.png': no decode delegates for this image format 'C:/../appdata/magick-6024a_cIJcw90t-j'@error/constitute.c/ReadImage/552 I searched for google and found that my ImageMagick library do not have PNG Delegaes, but when I checked for the information of ImageMagick, it sees PNG in its delegate lists.   • Extract Distinct restful MVC routes from IIS logs

    This is a cross post from StackOverflow that after some consideration I believe can be asked here (not getting anything on SO). My shop is using MVC3/FUBU on IIS 7. I recently put something into production and I wanted to gather metrics from the IIS logs using log parser. I've done this many times before with file endpoints but because the MVC3 routes are of the form /api/person/{personid}/address/{addressid} the log saves /api/person/123/address/456 in the uristem column. Does anyone have any ideas on how to get data about specific routes from IIS logs? As an exmaple: Log Like this: cs-uri-stem /api/person/123/address/456 /api/person/121/address/33 /api/person/3555 /api/person/1555/address/5555 I want information about all where the route used was /api/person/{personid} so the count would be 1 in this case. Ideally what I'd like to figure out is how to do is is have IIS log the regex for the route that is choose for a particular url. So in the IIS logs have /api/person/{personid}/address/{addressid} in a column in addition to the cs-uristem /api/person/1555/address/5555
