    Hi, I have a directory which contains several directories as follows: /Music/ /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-1980 /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-(Remastered)-2003 /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-(ReIssue)-1987 /Music/JoeBlogs-Thunder_Man-1947 I want a script to go through and tell me when there are 'possible' duplicates, in the example above it would pick up the following as possible duplicates from the directory list: /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-1980 /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-(Remastered)-2003 /Music/JoeBlogs-Back_In_Black-(ReIssue)-1987 1) Is this possible? 2) If so please help!

    Hi, with browser language french i have a string which has date in the format v = 13/01/2010 10:54:00. when i say Date.parse(v) i get the result as Date.parse(v) 1293897240000 Number with browser language german i have a string which has date int he format v = 13.01.2010 10:54:00 when i say Date.parse(v) i get the result as Date.parse(v) NaN Number can you please tell me how to parse date when it is in german language. The data looks like this: a score=216 expect=1.05e-06 a score=180 expect=0.0394 What I want to do is to have a subroutine that parse them and return 2 values (score and expect) for each line.   • Visual Studio Generating Code in Release mode

    I am using Visual Studio to compile some C++ Code. When I compile my program in Debug mode it works perfectly, but when I try compiling it in Release mode, VS halts when Generating Code (ie: took 20 mins and still didn't finish). After I forced VS to stop the build process, the executable generated was huge 2MB while it should be about 304KB. Please can you help figure this out. How should I setup the configuration parameters for Release mode to work? Thanks,

  • iphone sdk - why is the video returned not full res?

    im developing an app for the iphone and im able to get a video using a UIImagePickerController the problem is that the video thats returned by the UIImagePickerControllerMediaURL is not full resoultion -- its only 480 x 360 as opposed to 640 x 480 like the videos that sync to my itunes. -please someone tell me this is not a limitation of the current sdk? - how can i work around it and is there a way to set the uiimage picker so its taking full res video?

    How to lock file in Windows so that this file can be opened/read/wrote only by one process? I found out that file can be locked with CreateFile by giving 0 to dwShareMode flag. It works but only the returned handle can be used to work with file. But I want to be able to lock the file to other processes and at the same time to create multiple handles in my process.
