  • operator overloading of stream extraction operator in C++ help

    - by Crystal
    I'm having some trouble overloading my stream extraction operator in C++ for a hw assignment. I'm not really sure why I am getting these compile errors since I thought I was doing it right... Here is my code: Complex.h #ifndef COMPLEX_H #define COMPLEX_H class Complex { //friend ostream &operator<<(ostream &output, const Complex &complexObj) const; public: Complex(double = 0.0, double = 0.0); // constructor Complex operator+(const Complex &) const; // addition Complex operator-(const Complex &) const; // subtraction void print() const; // output private: double real; // real part double imaginary; // imaginary part }; #endif Complex.cpp #include <iostream> #include "Complex.h" using namespace std; // Constructor Complex::Complex(double realPart, double imaginaryPart) : real(realPart), imaginary(imaginaryPart) { } // addition operator Complex Complex::operator+(const Complex &operand2) const { return Complex(real + operand2.real, imaginary + operand2.imaginary); } // subtraction operator Complex Complex::operator-(const Complex &operand2) const { return Complex(real - operand2.real, imaginary - operand2.imaginary); } // Overload << operator ostream &Complex::operator<<(ostream &output, const Complex &complexObj) const { cout << '(' << complexObj.real << ", " << complexObj.imaginary << ')'; return output; // returning output allows chaining } // display a Complex object in the form: (a, b) void Complex::print() const { cout << '(' << real << ", " << imaginary << ')'; } main.cpp #include <iostream> #include "Complex.h" using namespace std; int main() { Complex x; Complex y(4.3, 8.2); Complex z(3.3, 1.1); cout << "x: "; x.print(); cout << "\ny: "; y.print(); cout << "\nz: "; z.print(); x = y + z; cout << "\n\nx = y + z: " << endl; x.print(); cout << " = "; y.print(); cout << " + "; z.print(); x = y - z; cout << "\n\nx = y - z: " << endl; x.print(); cout << " = "; y.print(); cout << " - "; z.print(); cout << endl; } Compile erros: complex.cpp(23) : error C2039: '<<' : is not a member of 'Complex' complex.h(5) : see declaration of 'Complex' complex.cpp(24) : error C2270: '<<' : modifiers not allowed on nonmember functions complex.cpp(25) : error C2248: 'Complex::real' : cannot access private member declared in class 'Complex' complex.h(13) : see declaration of 'Complex::real' complex.h(5) : see declaration of 'Complex' complex.cpp(25) : error C2248: 'Complex::imaginary' : cannot access private member declared in class 'Complex' complex.h(14) : see declaration of 'Complex::imaginary' complex.h(5) : see declaration of 'Complex' Thanks!

  • How to capture any key in X?

    - by cz-david
    Hi, I am building an application for which I need to periodically get information about users keyboard. It is going to be user idle detection application. I have a fairly simple solution to periodically check if the mouse has been moved. But I can't figure any reasonable non root way to detect if the keyboard has been pressed. I was thinking about registering a hook every timer timeout and on any key press to unregister it. So if there is no key press for a long time then my program will know if the user is idle. Anyway, I couldn't find any global hooks for any key, including modifiers. Is there an easy way to do this? Or would someone have a better way to detect keyboard idleness? Thanks, David Polák

  • Safe non-tamperable URL component in Perl using symmetric encryption?

    - by Randal Schwartz
    OK, I'm probably just having a bad Monday, but I have the following need and I'm seeing lots of partial solutions but I'm sure I'm not the first person to need this, so I'm wondering if I'm missing the obvious. $client has 50 to 500 bytes worth of binary data that must be inserted into the middle of a URL and roundtrip to their customer's browser. Since it's part of the URL, we're up against the 1K "theoretical" limit of a GET URL. Also, $client doesn't want their customer decoding the data, or tampering with it without detection. $client would also prefer not to store anything server-side, so this must be completely standalone. Must be Perl code, and fast, in both encoding and decoding. I think the last step can be base64. But what are the steps for encryption and hashing that make the most sense?

  • New project created with Flex Mojo's archetype throws Cannot Find Parent Project-Maven Exception

    - by ignorant
    This is probably a silly question but I just cant seem to figure out. I'm completely new to flex and maven. Maven 2.2.1: Maven 2.2.1 unzipped,M2_HOME set and repository altered to point to different drive location in settings.xml Flex 4.0: Installed Created a multi-modular webapp project using flexmojo: mvn archetype:generate -DarchetypeRepository=http://repository.sonatype.org/content/groups/flexgroup -DarchetypeGroupId=org.sonatype.flexmojos -DarchetypeArtifactId=flexmojos-archetypes-modular-webapp -DarchetypeVersion=RELEASE with following options groupId=com.test artifactId=test version=1.0-snapshot package=com.tests * Creates * test |-- pom.xml |--swc -pom.xml |--swf -pom.xml `--war -pom.xml Parent pom has swc, swf, war as modules. • Foreign Key constraint when persisting a many-to-one class

    - by tieTYT
    I'm getting an error when trying to persist a many to one entity: Internal Exception: org.postgresql.util.PSQLException: ERROR: insert or update on table "concept" violates foreign key constraint "concept_concept_class_fk" Detail: Key (concept_class_id)=(Concept) is not present in table "concept_class". Error Code: 0 Call: INSERT INTO concept (concept_key, description, label, code, concept_class_id) VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?, ?) bind = [27, description_1, label_1, code_1, Concept] Query: InsertObjectQuery(com.mirth.results.entities.Concept[conceptKey=27]) at com.sun.ejb.containers.BaseContainer.checkExceptionClientTx(BaseContainer.java:3728) at com.sun.ejb.containers.BaseContainer.postInvokeTx(BaseContainer.java:3576) at com.sun.ejb.containers.BaseContainer.postInvoke(BaseContainer.java:1354) ... 101 more Here is the method that tries to persist it. I've put a comment where the line is: @Override public void loadConcept(String metaDataFilePath, String dataFilePath) throws Exception { try { ConceptClassMetaData conceptClassMetaData = (ConceptClassMetaData) ModelSerializer.getInstance().fromXML(FileUtils.readFileToString(new File(metaDataFilePath), "UTF8")); em.executeNativeQuery(conceptClassMetaData.getCreateStatement()); ConceptClassRow conceptClassRow = conceptClassMetaData.getConceptClassRow(); ConceptClass conceptClass = em.findByPrimaryKey(ConceptClass.class, conceptClassRow.getId()); if (conceptClass == null) { conceptClass = new ConceptClass(conceptClassRow.getId()); } conceptClass.setLabel(conceptClassRow.getLabel()); conceptClass.setOid(conceptClassRow.getOid()); conceptClass.setDescription(conceptClassRow.getDescription()); conceptClass = em.merge(conceptClass); DataParser dataParser = new DataParser(conceptClassMetaData, dataFilePath); for (ConceptModel conceptModel : dataParser.getConceptRows()) { ConceptFilter<Concept> filter = new ConceptFilter<Concept>(Concept.class); filter.setCode(conceptModel.getCode()); filter.setConceptClass(conceptClass.getLabel()); List<Concept> concepts = em.findAllByFilter(filter); Concept concept = new Concept(); if (concepts != null && !concepts.isEmpty()) { concept = concepts.get(0); } concept.setCode(conceptModel.getCode()); concept.setDescription(conceptModel.getDescription()); concept.setLabel(conceptModel.getLabel()); concept.setConceptClass(conceptClass); concept = em.merge(concept); //THIS LINE CAUSES THE ERROR! } } catch (Exception e) { e.printStackTrace(); throw e; } } ... Here are how the two entities are defined: @Entity @Table(name = "concept") @Inheritance(strategy=InheritanceType.JOINED) @DiscriminatorColumn(name="concept_class_id", discriminatorType=DiscriminatorType.STRING) public class Concept extends KanaEntity { @Id @Basic(optional = false) @Column(name = "concept_key") protected Integer conceptKey; @Basic(optional = false) @Column(name = "code") private String code; @Basic(optional = false) @Column(name = "label") private String label; @Column(name = "description") private String description; @JoinColumn(name = "concept_class_id", referencedColumnName = "id") @ManyToOne private ConceptClass conceptClass; ... @Entity @Table(name = "concept_class") public class ConceptClass extends KanaEntity { @Id @Basic(optional = false) @Column(name = "id") private String id; @Basic(optional = false) @Column(name = "label") private String label; @Column(name = "oid") private String oid; @Column(name = "description") private String description; .... And also, what's important is the sql that's being generated: INSERT INTO concept_class (id, oid, description, label) VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?) bind = [LOINC_TEST, 2.16.212.31.231.54, This is a meta data file for LOINC_TEST, loinc_test] INSERT INTO concept (concept_key, description, label, code, concept_class_id) VALUES (?, ?, ?, ?, ?) bind = [27, description_1, label_1, code_1, Concept] The reason this is failing is obvious: It's inserting the word Concept for the concept_class_id. It should be inserting the word LOINC_TEST. I can't figure out why it's using this word. I've used the debugger to look at the Concept and the ConceptClass instance and neither of them contain this word. I'm using eclipselink. Does anyone know why this is happening?

  • Spring MVC Project's .war file not able to deploy using JRE in jetty server

    - by PDKumar
    IDE: STS(Eclipse) Server: Jetty-distribution-8.1.15.v20140411 I have created a SpringsMVC Project using Template available in STS tool(New-Springs Project- Springs MVC Project). I generated a war file(SpringsMVC.war) and placed it in /webapps folder of Jetty server. Now I started Jetty using JRE's 'java' , D:\jetty-distribution-8.1.15.v20140411"C:\Program Files (x86)\Java\jre7\bin\java" -jar start.jar Now when I tried to access my application in browser, it shows the below error; HTTP ERROR 500 Problem accessing /SpringMVCProject1/. Reason: Server Error Caused by: org.apache.jasper.JasperException: PWC6345: There is an error in invoking javac. • Why does Chrome incorrectly determine page is in a different language and offer to translate?

    - by Sam
    The new Google Chrome auto-translation feature is tripping up on one page within one of our applications. Whenever we navigate to this particular page, Chrome tells us the page is in Danish and offers to translate. The page is in English, just like every other page in our app. This particular page is an internal testing page that has a few dozen form fields with English labels. I have no idea why Chrome thinks this page is Danish. Does anyone have insights into how this language detection feature works and how I can determine what is causing Chrome to think the page is in Danish?

  • javascript/jquery input fields cleanup

    - by user271619
    I've created a few input fields, that I am cleaning up as the user types. So, I'm using a keystroke detection event, like .keyup() It's all working very well, but I do notice one thing that's rather annoying for the users. While the script is cleaning the data as they type, their cursor is being sent to the end of the input field. So, if you want to edit the middle of the value, you're cursor immediately goes to the end of the box. Does anyone know of a way to maintain the cursor's current position inside the input field? I'm not holding my breath, but I thought I'd ask. Here's the cleanup code I'm using: $(".pricing").keyup(function(){ // clean up anything non-numeric **var itemprice = $("#itemprice").val().replace(/[^0-9\.]+/g, '');** // return the cleaner value back to the input field **$("#itemprice").val(itemprice);** });

  • Chipmunk Physics or Box2D for C++ 2D GameEngine ?

    - by Mr.Gando
    Hello, I'm developing what it's turning into a "cross-platform" 2D Game Engine, my initial platform target is iPhone OS, but could move on to Android or even some console like the PSP, or Nintendo DS, I want to keep my options open. My engine is developed in C++, and have been reading a lot about Box2D and Chipmunk but still I can't decide which one to use as my Physics Middleware. Chipmunk appears to have been made to be embedded easily, and Box2D seems to be widely used. Chipmunk is C , and Box2D is C++, but I've heard the API's of Box2D are much worse than chipmunk's API's. For now I will be using the engine shape creation and collision detection features for irregular polygons (not concave). I value: 1) Good API's 2) Easy to integrate. 3) Portability. And of course if you notice anything else, I would love to hear it. Which one do you think that would fit my needs better ?

  • Implementing ZBar QR Code Reader in UIView

    - by Bobster4300
    I really need help here. I'm pretty new to iOS/Objective-C so sorry if the problem resolution is obvious or if my code is terrible. Be easy on me!! :-) I'm struggling to integrate ZBarSDK for reading QR Codes into an iPad app i'm building. If I use ZBarReaderController (of which there are plenty of tutorials and guides on implementing), it works fine. However I want to make the camera come up in a UIView as opposed to the fullscreen camera. Now I have gotten as far as making the camera view (readerView) come up in the UIView (ZBarReaderView) as expected, but I get an error when it scans a code. The error does not come up until a code is scanned making me believe this is either delegate related or something else. Here's the important parts of my code: (ZBarSDK.h is imported at the PCH file) SignInViewController.h #import <UIKit/UIKit.h> #import <AVFoundation/AVFoundation.h> @class AVCaptureSession, AVCaptureDevice; @interface SignInViewController : UIViewController < ZBarReaderDelegate > { ZBarReaderView *readerView; UITextView *resultText; } @property (nonatomic, retain) UIImagePickerController *imgPicker; @property (strong, nonatomic) IBOutlet UITextView *resultText; @property (strong, nonatomic) IBOutlet ZBarReaderView *readerView; -(IBAction)StartScan:(id) sender; SignInViewController.m #import "SignInViewController.h" @interface SignInViewController () @end @implementation SignInViewController @synthesize resultText, readerView; -(IBAction)StartScan:(id) sender { readerView = [ZBarReaderView new]; readerView.readerDelegate = self; readerView.tracksSymbols = NO; readerView.frame = CGRectMake(30,70,230,230); readerView.torchMode = 0; readerView.device = [self frontFacingCameraIfAvailable]; ZBarImageScanner *scanner = readerView.scanner; [scanner setSymbology: ZBAR_I25 config: ZBAR_CFG_ENABLE to: 0]; [self relocateReaderPopover:[self interfaceOrientation]]; [readerView start]; [self.view addSubview: readerView]; resultText.hidden=NO; } - (void) readerControllerDidFailToRead: (ZBarReaderController*) reader withRetry: (BOOL) retry{ NSLog(@"the image picker failing to read"); } - (void) imagePickerController: (UIImagePickerController*) reader didFinishPickingMediaWithInfo: (NSDictionary*) info { NSLog(@"the image picker is calling successfully %@",info); id<NSFastEnumeration> results = [info objectForKey: ZBarReaderControllerResults]; ZBarSymbol *symbol = nil; NSString *hiddenData; for(symbol in results) hiddenData=[NSString stringWithString:symbol.data]; NSLog(@"the symbols is the following %@",symbol.data); resultText.text=symbol.data; NSLog(@"BARCODE= %@",symbol.data); NSLog(@"SYMBOL : %@",hiddenData); resultText.text=hiddenData; } The error I get when a code is scanned: 2012-12-16 14:28:32.797 QRTestApp[7970:907] -[SignInViewController readerView:didReadSymbols:fromImage:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x1e88b1c0 2012-12-16 14:28:32.799 QRTestApp[7970:907] *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInvalidArgumentException', reason: '-[SignInViewController readerView:didReadSymbols:fromImage:]: unrecognized selector sent to instance 0x1e88b1c0' I'm not too worried about what happens with the results just yet, just want to get over this error. Took me ages just to get the camera to come up in the UIView due to severe lack of tutorial or documentation on ZBarReaderView (for beginners anyway). Thanks all.

  • Trac FastCGI + Python on dreamhost leaves zombie python running

    - by Katsuke
    Hello there, Recently I installed trac in one of my dreamhost domains. I followed the instructions of http://trac.mlalonde.net/wiki/CreamyTrac and everything worked perfectly. At least i thought that was the case. After a few days, i started to notice that i was getting random 500 pages. I quickly checked the error log, and found a bunch of: [Fri Apr 16 14:35:34 2010] [error] [client *.*.*.*] Premature end of script headers: dispatch.fcgi [Fri Apr 16 14:35:54 2010] [error] [client *.*.*.*] Premature end of script headers: dispatch.fcgi, referer: http://www.trac.****.com/login [Fri Apr 16 16:05:58 2010] [error] [client *.*.*.*] Premature end of script headers: dispatch.fcgi, referer: http://www.trac.****.com/timeline The trac instance has very low traffic so it is possible that this might have been triggered faster if there was more use of it. So next step i went to look at top and am amazed by what i see: (this is NOT exactly what i saw, i just reproduced this from memory) 23730 rl_inst 20 0 44516 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:00.17 python2.4 23731 rl_inst 20 0 44616 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:03.17 python2.4 23732 rl_inst 20 0 44116 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:01.17 python2.4 23733 rl_inst 20 0 44826 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:04.17 python2.4 23734 rl_inst 20 0 44216 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:02.17 python2.4 23735 rl_inst 20 0 44416 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:01.17 python2.4 I opened the trac site again and that changed to this: 23730 rl_inst 20 0 44516 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:00.17 python2.4 23731 rl_inst 20 0 44616 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:03.17 python2.4 23732 rl_inst 20 0 44116 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:01.17 python2.4 23733 rl_inst 20 0 44826 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:04.17 python2.4 23734 rl_inst 20 0 44216 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:02.17 python2.4 23735 rl_inst 20 0 44416 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:01.17 python2.4 28378 rl_inst 20 0 2608 1208 1008 S 0.0 0.0 0:00.00 dispatch.fcgi 28382 rl_inst 20 0 44248 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:02.19 python2.4 So the dispatch.fcgi was being called correctly and was spawning correctly other python2.4 process. After the IDLE time passed this is the results: 23730 rl_inst 20 0 44516 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:00.17 python2.4 23731 rl_inst 20 0 44616 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:03.17 python2.4 23732 rl_inst 20 0 44116 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:01.17 python2.4 23733 rl_inst 20 0 44826 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:04.17 python2.4 23734 rl_inst 20 0 44216 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:02.17 python2.4 23735 rl_inst 20 0 44416 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:01.17 python2.4 28382 rl_inst 20 0 44248 15m 4012 S 0.0 0.4 0:02.19 python2.4 dispatch.fcgi was gone but the corresponding python2.4 was still there o_O. I had started with 5 sleeping processes of python and after idle time i ended up with 6. I repeated this and found that it kept spawning more and more python2.4, this was indeed what was causing my 500s indirectly. Let me explain my findings. Am on a shared hosting so my processes get killed if they are way too many. So everytime i opened trac 2 new processes spawned and one remained, to the point that dreamhost was killing a random process when i reached my limit. Sometimes killing the python2.4 that actually was rendering the current page. Hence header premature ending, python is gone the .fcgi doesnt know what to do and throws an 500. I found a dirty solution to this. I changed my dispatch.fcgi to contain a line that killed any currently running python2.4 process and then spawn a new one. Since then i dont get any rogues what so ever. But i dont think this is the best solution, calling killall in every fcgi just seems wrong. Anyone has run into this issue and found a cleaner solution? Is there anything that i have overlooked?

  • best way to statistically detect anomalies in data

    - by reinier
    Hi, our webapp collects huge amount of data about user actions, network business, database load, etc etc etc All data is stored in warehouses and we have quite a lot of interesting views on this data. if something odd happens chances are, it shows up somewhere in the data. However, to manually detect if something out of the ordinary is going on, one has to continually look through this data, and look for oddities. My question: what is the best way to detect changes in dynamic data which can be seen as 'out of the ordinary'. Are bayesan filters (I've seen these mentioned when reading about spam detection) the way to go? Any pointers would be great! EDIT: To clarify the data for example shows a daily curve of database load. This curve typically looks similar to the curve from yesterday In time this curve might change slowly. It would be nice that if the curve from day to day changes say within some perimeters, a warning could go off. R

  • Issue with SPI (Serial Port Comm), stuck on ioctl()

    - by stef
    I'm trying to access a SPI sensor using the SPIDEV driver but my code gets stuck on IOCTL. I'm running embedded Linux on the SAM9X5EK (mounting AT91SAM9G25). The device is connected to SPI0. I enabled CONFIG_SPI_SPIDEV and CONFIG_SPI_ATMEL in menuconfig and added the proper code to the BSP file: static struct spi_board_info spidev_board_info[] { { .modalias = "spidev", .max_speed_hz = 1000000, .bus_num = 0, .chips_select = 0, .mode = SPI_MODE_3, }, ... }; spi_register_board_info(spidev_board_info, ARRAY_SIZE(spidev_board_info)); 1MHz is the maximum accepted by the sensor, I tried 500kHz but I get an error during Linux boot (too slow apparently). .bus_num and .chips_select should correct (I also tried all other combinations). SPI_MODE_3 I checked the datasheet for it. I get no error while booting and devices appear correctly as /dev/spidevX.X. I manage to open the file and obtain a valid file descriptor. I'm now trying to access the device with the following code (inspired by examples I found online). #define MY_SPIDEV_DELAY_USECS 100 // #define MY_SPIDEV_SPEED_HZ 1000000 #define MY_SPIDEV_BITS_PER_WORD 8 int spidevReadRegister(int fd, unsigned int num_out_bytes, unsigned char *out_buffer, unsigned int num_in_bytes, unsigned char *in_buffer) { struct spi_ioc_transfer mesg[2] = { {0}, }; uint8_t num_tr = 0; int ret; // Write data mesg[0].tx_buf = (unsigned long)out_buffer; mesg[0].rx_buf = (unsigned long)NULL; mesg[0].len = num_out_bytes; // mesg[0].delay_usecs = MY_SPIDEV_DELAY_USECS, // mesg[0].speed_hz = MY_SPIDEV_SPEED_HZ; mesg[0].bits_per_word = MY_SPIDEV_BITS_PER_WORD; mesg[0].cs_change = 0; num_tr++; // Read data mesg[1].tx_buf = (unsigned long)NULL; mesg[1].rx_buf = (unsigned long)in_buffer; mesg[1].len = num_in_bytes; // mesg[1].delay_usecs = MY_SPIDEV_DELAY_USECS, // mesg[1].speed_hz = MY_SPIDEV_SPEED_HZ; mesg[1].bits_per_word = MY_SPIDEV_BITS_PER_WORD; mesg[1].cs_change = 1; num_tr++; // Do the actual transmission if(num_tr > 0) { ret = ioctl(fd, SPI_IOC_MESSAGE(num_tr), mesg); if(ret == -1) { printf("Error: %d\n", errno); return -1; } } return 0; } Then I'm using this function: #define OPTICAL_SENSOR_ADDR "/dev/spidev0.0" ... int fd; fd = open(OPTICAL_SENSOR_ADDR, O_RDWR); if (fd<=0) { printf("Device not found\n"); exit(1); } uint8_t buffer1[1] = {0x3a}; uint8_t buffer2[1] = {0}; spidevReadRegister(fd, 1, buffer1, 1, buffer2); When I run it, the code get stuck on IOCTL! I did this way because, in order to read a register on the sensor, I need to send a byte with its address in it and then get the answer back without changing CS (however, when I tried using write() and read() functions, while learning, I got the same result, stuck on them). I'm aware that specifying .speed_hz causes a ENOPROTOOPT error on Atmel (I checked spidev.c) so I commented that part. Why does it get stuck? I though it can be as the device is created but it actually doesn't "feel" any hardware. As I wasn't sure if hardware SPI0 corresponded to bus_num 0 or 1, I tried both, but still no success (btw, which one is it?). UPDATE: I managed to have the SPI working! Half of it.. MOSI is transmitting the right data, but CLK doesn't start... any idea?

  • Navigation to call action for bean class

    - by Muthu
    I am using JSF 2.0 and PrimeFaces 3.0. I have uploaded the images and have to crop the image. The images are uploaded and successfully displayed in the upload pages. When I select the images and click the crop button the corresponding crop bean is not called. If I don't select the image and click the crop button the corresponding crop bean class is called but a NullPointerException occurred. What is the problem? • Issue with translating a delegate function from c# to vb.net for use with Google OAuth 2

    - by Jeremy
    I've been trying to translate a Google OAuth 2 example from C# to Vb.net for a co-worker's project. I'm having on end of issues translating the following methods: private OAuth2Authenticator<WebServerClient> CreateAuthenticator() { // Register the authenticator. var provider = new WebServerClient(GoogleAuthenticationServer.Description); provider.ClientIdentifier = ClientCredentials.ClientID; provider.ClientSecret = ClientCredentials.ClientSecret; var authenticator = new OAuth2Authenticator<WebServerClient>(provider, GetAuthorization) { NoCaching = true }; return authenticator; } private IAuthorizationState GetAuthorization(WebServerClient client) { // If this user is already authenticated, then just return the auth state. IAuthorizationState state = AuthState; if (state != null) { return state; } // Check if an authorization request already is in progress. state = client.ProcessUserAuthorization(new HttpRequestInfo(HttpContext.Current.Request)); if (state != null && (!string.IsNullOrEmpty(state.AccessToken) || !string.IsNullOrEmpty(state.RefreshToken))) { // Store and return the credentials. HttpContext.Current.Session["AUTH_STATE"] = _state = state; return state; } // Otherwise do a new authorization request. string scope = TasksService.Scopes.TasksReadonly.GetStringValue(); OutgoingWebResponse response = client.PrepareRequestUserAuthorization(new[] { scope }); response.Send(); // Will throw a ThreadAbortException to prevent sending another response. return null; } The main issue being this line: var authenticator = new OAuth2Authenticator<WebServerClient>(provider, GetAuthorization) { NoCaching = true }; The Method signature reads as for this particular line reads as follows: Public Sub New(tokenProvider As TClient, authProvider As System.Func(Of TClient, DotNetOpenAuth.OAuth2.IAuthorizationState)) My understanding of Delegate functions in VB.net isn't the greatest. However I have read over all of the MSDN documentation and other relevant resources on the web, but I'm still stuck as to how to translate this particular line. So far all of my attempts have resulted in either the a cast error (see below) or no call to GetAuthorization. The Code (vb.net on .net 3.5) Private Function CreateAuthenticator() As OAuth2Authenticator(Of WebServerClient) ' Register the authenticator. Dim client As New WebServerClient(GoogleAuthenticationServer.Description, oauth.ClientID, oauth.ClientSecret) Dim authDelegate As Func(Of WebServerClient, IAuthorizationState) = AddressOf GetAuthorization Dim authenticator = New OAuth2Authenticator(Of WebServerClient)(client, authDelegate) With {.NoCaching = True} 'Dim authenticator = New OAuth2Authenticator(Of WebServerClient)(client, GetAuthorization(client)) With {.NoCaching = True} 'Dim authenticator = New OAuth2Authenticator(Of WebServerClient)(client, New Func(Of WebServerClient, IAuthorizationState)(Function(c) GetAuthorization(c))) With {.NoCaching = True} 'Dim authenticator = New OAuth2Authenticator(Of WebServerClient)(client, New Func(Of WebServerClient, IAuthorizationState)(AddressOf GetAuthorization)) With {.NoCaching = True} Return authenticator End Function Private Function GetAuthorization(arg As WebServerClient) As IAuthorizationState ' If this user is already authenticated, then just return the auth state. Dim state As IAuthorizationState = AuthState If (Not state Is Nothing) Then Return state End If ' Check if an authorization request already is in progress. state = arg.ProcessUserAuthorization(New HttpRequestInfo(HttpContext.Current.Request)) If (state IsNot Nothing) Then If ((String.IsNullOrEmpty(state.AccessToken) = False Or String.IsNullOrEmpty(state.RefreshToken) = False)) Then ' Store Credentials HttpContext.Current.Session("AUTH_STATE") = state _state = state Return state End If End If ' Otherwise do a new authorization request. Dim scope As String = AnalyticsService.Scopes.AnalyticsReadonly.GetStringValue() Dim _response As OutgoingWebResponse = arg.PrepareRequestUserAuthorization(New String() {scope}) ' Add Offline Access and forced Approval _response.Headers("location") += "&access_type=offline&approval_prompt=force" _response.Send() ' Will throw a ThreadAbortException to prevent sending another response. Return Nothing End Function The Cast Error Server Error in '/' Application. • Windows disassembler: looking for a tool...

    - by SigTerm
    Hello. I'm looking for a (preferably free) tool that can produce "proper" disassembly listing from a (non-.NET) windows PE file (*.exe or *.dll). Important requirement: it should be possible to run the listing through a windows assembler (nasm, masm or whatever) and get working exe again (not necessarily identical to original one, but it should behave in the same way). Intended usage is adding new subroutines into existing code, when source is not available. Ideally, tool should be able to detect function/segment boundaries, API calls, and generate proper labels for jumps (I can live without labels for loops/jumps, though, but function boundary detection would be nice), and keep program resources/segments in place. I'm already aware of IdaPRO(not free), OllyDBG (useful for in-place hacking, doesn't generate disassembly listing, AFAIK), ndisasm (output isn't suitable for assembler), dumpbin (useful, but AFAIK, output isn't suitable for assembler) and "proxy dll" technique. Ideas? Or maybe there is a book/tutorial that explains some kind of alternative approach?

  • Problem with reading file line-by-line

    - by Maulrus
    I'm trying to complete an exercise to write a program that takes the following command line arguments: an input file, an output file, and an unspecified number of words. The program is to read the contents of the input file line by line, find for each word given which lines contain the word, and print the lines with their line number to the output file. Here's my code: #include <iostream> #include <fstream> #include <string> #include <sstream> using namespace std; int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { if (argc < 4) { cerr << "Error #1: not enough arguments provided\n"; return 1; } ifstream in(argv[1]); if (!in.is_open()) { cerr << "Error #2: input file could not be opened\n"; return 2; } ofstream out(argv[2]); if (!out.is_open()) { cerr << "Error #3: output file could not be opened\n"; return 3; } ostringstream oss; for (int i = 3; i < argc; ++i) { int k = 0; string temp; oss << argv[i] << ":\n\n"; while (getline(in, temp)) { ++k; unsigned x = temp.find(argv[i]); if (x != string::npos) oss << "Line #" << k << ": " << temp << endl; } } string copy = oss.str(); out << copy; in.close(); out.close(); return 0; } If I try to run that, I get the predicted output for the first word given, but any words following it aren't found. For example, for the source code above will give the following output: in: Line #1: #include <iostream> Line #2: #include <fstream> Line #3: #include <string> Line #4: #include <sstream> Line #5: using namespace std; Line #7: int main(int argc, char* argv[]) { Line #12: ifstream in(argv[1]); Line #13: if (!in.is_open()) { Line #14: cerr << "Error #2: input file could not be opened\n"; Line #22: ostringstream oss; Line #23: string temp; Line #24: for (int i = 3; i < argc; ++i) { Line #26: int k = 0; Line #28: while (getline(in, temp)) { Line #30: unsigned x = temp.find(argv[i]); Line #31: if (x != string::npos) Line #32: oss << "Line #" << k << ": " << temp << endl; Line #35: string copy = oss.str(); Line #37: in.close(); out: That is, it'll find all the instances of the first word given but not any following. What am I doing wrong here?

  • How do I find hash value of a 3D vector ?

    - by brainydexter
    I am trying to perform broad-phase collision detection with a fixed-grid size approach. Thus, for each entity's position: (x,y,z) (each of type float), I need to find which cell does the entity lie in. I then intend to store all the cells in a hash-table and then iterate through to report (if any) collisions. So, here is what I am doing: Grid-cell's position: (int type) (Gx, Gy, Gz) = (x / M, y / M, z / M) where M is the size of the grid. Once, I have a cell, I'd like to add it to a hash-table with its key being a unique hash based on (Gx, Gy, Gz) and the value being the cell itself. Now, I cannot think of a good hash function and I need some help with that. Can someone please suggest me a good hash function? Thanks

  • AJAX Password Change without Refresh

So here's my html: <form id="change_Pass" action="" method="post"> Current Password<input type="password" id="change_password" name="change_password"><br> New Password<input type="password" id="new_password" name="new_password"><br> Verify Password<input type="password" id="verify_password" name="verify_password"><br> <input type="submit" value="Submit" id="change_pass_submit"> </form> And my jquery: $('#change_pass_submit').click(function(){ var $this = $(this); $.ajax({ data: $this.serialize(), // get the form data type: "POST", // GET or POST url: "/Private/change_password.php", // the file to call success: function() { // on success.. //$('#success_div).html(response); // update the DIV alert("good"); }, error: function() { // on error.. //$('#error_div).html(e); // update the DIV alert("bad"); } }); return false; //so it doesn't refresh when submitting the page }); And my php: <?php session_start(); require_once '../classes/Bcrypt.php'; ini_set('display_errors', 'On'); error_reporting(E_ALL | E_STRICT); $usr = $_SESSION["username"]; $old_pwd = $_POST["change_password"]; $new_pwd = $_POST["new_password"]; $new_pwd = Bcrypt::hash($new_pwd); try { $link = new PDO('mysql:host=*;dbname=*;charset=UTF-8','*','*'); $query = "SELECT * FROM Conference WHERE Username = :un"; $stmt = $link->prepare($query); $stmt->bindParam(':un', $usr); $stmt->execute(); $row = $stmt->fetchAll(); $hash = $row[0]["Password"]; $is_correct = Bcrypt::check($old_pwd, $hash); if($is_correct) { $query = "UPDATE Conference SET `Password`=:new_pwd WHERE Username = :usr"; $stmt = $link->prepare($query); $stmt->bindParam(':new_pwd', $new_pwd); $stmt->bindParam(':usr', $usr); $stmt->execute(); return true; } else return false; } catch(PDOException $e) { print "Error!: " . $e->getMessage() . "<br/>"; die(); } But for some reason, when I hit the submit button, the page STILL goes to change_password.php. I have no idea why, i've looked at so many tutorials and my code matches theirs but for some reason mine won't stay on the same page. Where did I go wrong?

  • sIFR Doesn't Work in FF3 Mac.

    - by Jake
    I thought it might be something I was doing wrong, but I am not seeing it working on any site, including Novemberborn.net. Any Ideas? The CSS is loaded, so the headlines are hidden, and then it is like the JS isn't loaded at all. Could this be a browser detection issue? I am using firefox 3 with latest flash player version 10. I have heard the complaint from other Mac users as well. Works on every other browser... EDIT: I removed the CSS to hide, it still doesn't work. After a pause, it loads the JS and removes the headlines, but doesn't replace them.

  • uploading zip files in codeigniter won't work

    - by krike
    I have created a helper that requires some parameters and should upload a file, the function works for images however not for zip files. I searched on google and even added a MY_upload.php - http://codeigniter.com/bug_tracker/bug/6780/ however I still have the problem so I used print_r to display the array of the uploaded files, the image is fine however the zip array is empty: Array ( [file_name] => [file_type] => [file_path] => [full_path] => [raw_name] => [orig_name] => [file_ext] => [file_size] => [is_image] => [image_width] => [image_height] => [image_type] => [image_size_str] => ) Array ( [file_name] => 2385b959279b5e3cd451fee54273512c.png [file_type] => image/png [file_path] => I:/wamp/www/e-commerce/sources/images/ [full_path] => I:/wamp/www/e-commerce/sources/images/2385b959279b5e3cd451fee54273512c.png [raw_name] => 2385b959279b5e3cd451fee54273512c [orig_name] => 1269770869_Art_Artdesigner.lv_.png [file_ext] => .png [file_size] => 15.43 [is_image] => 1 [image_width] => 113 [image_height] => 128 [image_type] => png [image_size_str] => width="113" height="128" ) this is the function helper function multiple_upload($name = 'userfile', $upload_dir = 'sources/images/', $allowed_types = 'gif|jpg|jpeg|jpe|png', $size) { $CI =& get_instance(); $config['upload_path'] = realpath($upload_dir); $config['allowed_types'] = $allowed_types; $config['max_size'] = $size; $config['overwrite'] = FALSE; $config['encrypt_name'] = TRUE; $ffiles = $CI->upload->data(); echo "<pre>"; print_r($ffiles); echo "</pre>"; $CI->upload->initialize($config); $errors = FALSE; if(!$CI->upload->do_upload($name))://I believe this is causing the problem but I'm new to codeigniter so no idea where to look for errors $errors = TRUE; else: // Build a file array from all uploaded files $files = $CI->upload->data(); endif; // There was errors, we have to delete the uploaded files if($errors): @unlink($files['full_path']); return false; else: return $files; endif; }//end of multiple_upload() and this is the code in my controller if(!$s_thumb = multiple_upload('small_thumb', 'sources/images/', 'gif|jpg|jpeg|jpe|png', 1024)): //http://www.matisse.net/bitcalc/ $data['feedback'] = '<div class="error">Could not upload the small thumbnail!</div>'; $error = TRUE; endif; if(!$main_file = multiple_upload('main_file', 'sources/items/', 'zip', 307200)): $data['feedback'] = '<div class="error">Could not upload the main file!</div>'; $error = TRUE; endif;

  • Unable to use NSURLConnection to get contents of password/username protected webpage

    - by bubster
    I am trying to get the contents of a webpage that requires a password and user name to access. I am using a NSURLConnection object to get it however when I write the NSMutableData object that is returned to a file all I get is the login page. Normally when you try to load the password protected page when you are not logged in it redirects to the login page however I thought that if I provided valid credentials then this I would be able to view the password protected page. Also I do not know if it is relevant the website is using a microsoft mysql database on an IIS (internet information server). Note: [protectionSpace authenticationMethod] returns NSURLAuthenticationMethodServerTrust I am pretty unfamiliar with this so any ideas would be greatly appreciated. Below is all of the relevant code: - (void)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection didReceiveResponse:(NSURLResponse *)response { // This method is called when the server has determined that it // has enough information to create the NSURLResponse. // It can be called multiple times, for example in the case of a // redirect, so each time we reset the data. // receivedData is an instance variable declared elsewhere. [receivedData setLength:0]; } - (void)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection didReceiveData:(NSData *)data { // Append the new data to receivedData. // receivedData is an instance variable declared elsewhere. [receivedData appendData:data]; } - (void)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection didFailWithError:(NSError *)error { // release the connection, and the data object //[connection release]; // receivedData is declared as a method instance elsewhere //[receivedData release]; // inform the user NSLog(@"Connection failed! Error - %@ %@", [error localizedDescription], [[error userInfo] objectForKey:NSURLErrorFailingURLStringErrorKey]); } - (void)connectionDidFinishLoading:(NSURLConnection *)connection { // do something with the data // receivedData is declared as a method instance elsewhere NSLog(@"Succeeded! Received %d bytes of data",[receivedData length]); // release the connection, and the data object //[connection release]; //[receivedData release]; //Write data to a file [receivedData writeToFile:@"/Users/matsallen/Desktop/receivedData.html" atomically:YES]; } - (BOOL)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection canAuthenticateAgainstProtectionSpace: (NSURLProtectionSpace *)protectionSpace { NSLog(@"The connection encountered a protection space. The authentication method is %@", [protectionSpace authenticationMethod]); secureTrustReference = [protectionSpace serverTrust]; //SecTrustResultType *result; //OSStatus status = SecTrustEvaluate(secureTrustReference, result); //NSLog(@"Result of the trust evaluation is %@",status); return YES; } - (void)connection:(NSURLConnection *)connection didReceiveAuthenticationChallenge:(NSURLAuthenticationChallenge *)challenge { NSURLCredential *newCredential; newCredential = [NSURLCredential credentialWithUser:@"username" password:@"password" persistence:NSURLCredentialPersistenceForSession]; newCredential = [NSURLCredential credentialForTrust:secureTrustReference]; // [[challenge sender] useCredential:newCredential forAuthenticationChallenge:challenge]; // [[challenge sender] continueWithoutCredentialForAuthenticationChallenge:challenge]; } #pragma mark - View lifecycle - (void)viewDidLoad { receivedData = [[NSMutableData alloc] init]; [super viewDidLoad]; // Do any additional setup after loading the view, typically from a nib. // Create the request. NSURLRequest *theRequest=[NSURLRequest requestWithURL:[NSURL URLWithString:@"https://www.markallenonline.com/secure/maoCoaching.aspx"] cachePolicy:NSURLRequestUseProtocolCachePolicy timeoutInterval:60.0]; // create the connection with the request // and start loading the data NSURLConnection *theConnection=[[NSURLConnection alloc] initWithRequest:theRequest delegate:self]; if (theConnection) { // Create the NSMutableData to hold the received data. // receivedData is an instance variable declared elsewhere. receivedData = [NSMutableData data]; NSLog(@"Connection succeeded!"); } else { // Inform the user that the connection failed. NSLog(@"Connection failed!"); } }

  • Blacklisting specific roads from Google Maps/Mapquest?

    - by Aaron
    I'm looking to build a custom view of a Google Maps type of application for providing directions, but I need to blacklist specific roads or sections of roads. I'm not talking just avoiding highways or Toll Roads. I've been looking through the Google Maps and Mapquest APIs but haven't found anything of use yet. Initially I'm just looking to manually blacklist specific roads that I do not want to drive on, but eventually would like there to be some sort of automatic detection or suggestion. Is there built-in functionality to support blacklisting specific roads in Google Maps or Mapquest? Or is there any known way to hack it together?

  • How to activate nVidia cards programmatically on new MacBookPros for CUDA programming?

    - by Carsten Kuckuk
    The new MacBookPros come with two graphic adapters, the Intel HD Graphics, and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M. OS X switches back and forth between them, depending on the workload, detection of an external monitor, or activation of Rosetta. I want to get my feet wet with CUDA programming, and unfortunately the CUDA SDK doesn't seem to take care of this back-and-forth switching. When Intel is active, no CUDA device gets detected, and when the NVidia card is active, it gets detected. So my current work-around is to use the little tool gfxCardStatus (http://codykrieger.com/gfxCardStatus/) to force the card on or off, just as I need it, but that's not satisfactory. Does anybody here know what the Apple-blessed, Apple-recommended way is to (1) detect the presence of a CUDA card, (2) to activate this card when present?
