  Hi, I have 2 view (view A and view B). In viewA when I touch a button I execute this code to flip a viewB: viewB.modalTransitionStyle = UIModalTransitionStyleFlipHorizontal; [self presentModalViewController:viewB animated:YES]; And now when I came back to viewA I use this code: [self dismissModalViewControllerAnimated: YES]; //here is my problem I need to set same parameters to viewA when I execute dismiss. How can I do it?

  I have a class defined called extBlock. I then make an instance of that class with this extBlock mainBlock = new extBlock(1, 1024); I get this error: error C2440: 'initializing' : cannot convert from 'extBlock *' to 'extBlock' Can anyone help me with why I am getting this error. I have seen examples online of declaring it like this with a pointer extBlock *mainBlock = new extBlock(1, 1024); But if I do it this way it does not let me call the functions of mainBlock

• Subclassing Cocoa means no subclass ivars in some cases?

  The question is generally coming from self = [super init]. In case if I'm subclassing NSSomething and in my init's method self = [super init] returns object of different class, does it mean I am not able to have my very own ivars in my subclass, just because self will be pointing to different class? Appreciate if you could bring some examples if my statement is wrong.

  I want to use google drive to store the files, but allow the users of my website to be able to edit them transparently, so that they don't have to go to google drive's website. Is this possible with the current API? Thus far I have only seen how to create an app for them to install in google drive, or doing something like DrEdit (https://developers.google.com/drive/examples/), which parses the files to JSON and uses the ACE editor, which is definitely not what I want.
