For this I'd like to define a "log" function callable as log "LEVEL" $message Where the message is a variable to which I have previously redirected the outputs of executed commands.   • Elegant way to debug n-tier from Visual Studio

    Just wondering if there is any easy way to start a debugging session that lauches the server and the client by simply pressing F5. As it stands I have to F5 to debug the server, then find the client project and right click-Debug, which is a bit fiddly. Any tips to get this to work more smoothly?

  • Symfony: Web debug toolbar icons disappeared

    Hi, Just moved a symfony project from local (win) to server (linux), and the icons in the web debug toolbar have disappeared. Only the image alts remain so I guess it's a path issue with the images. Basically, I see "Time 300ms" instead of "[icon] 300ms" for each of the items. I'm a little worried that some other paths aren't broken as well that are going to be a pain to find. Has anyone had/resolved this issue? Thank you.

  • Parsing command line options in Perl

    Hi guys, I am parsing command line options in Perl using Getopt::Long. I am forced to use prefix - (one dash) for short commands (-s) and -- (double dash) for long commands (ex. --input=file), but problem is, that there is one special option (-r=) so it is long option for its requirement for argument, but it has to have one dash (-) prefix not double dash (--) like other long options. Is possible to setup Getopt::Long to accept these?

    Hi there, If I have the report name how can I programmatically get the name of the project/folder the report is in? So for example if I have a report like so http://server/Reports/Pages/Report.aspx?ItemPath=/ReportProject1/ReportName Given "ReportName" how can I figure out that the report is in the folder "ReportProject1"? So I guess is there a function where I can pass int he report name and get it's details or else query the report server for a list of its report folders and I can loop through these and check some how that the report is inside?

    I'm getting started with a side project that will be developed using PHP and I'm looking for guidance on getting my Windows machine up and running and ready for development (as quickly as possible). Being that PHP development is more geared towards Linux users/developers (which I am not), I'm trying to figure out how to get all the pieces in place to get a 'WAMP' stack operational locally on my Windows machine.     I'm conflicted between a "read once, use memory+pointers to files" and a "read when necessary" approach. The latter is of course much easier (no additional classes needed to store the whole dir structure), but IMO it is slower? A little clarification: I'm writing a simple build system, that read a project file, checks if all files are present, and runs some compile steps. The file tree is static, so the first option doesn't need to be very dynamic and only needs to be built once every time the program is run. Thanks

  • What are the SQL Server query syntax not supported by MySQL?

    I am working in a project where we are using SQL Server database currently. But recently a decision has been taken that the database will be changed to MySQL. I am not using any stored procedures, views, triggers, user defined functions, etc. But I think even then some queries written for SQL Server will not be supported by MySQL. Can anyone help: what are the things that I have to check (and change) so that all the queries will work properly for MySQL also?
