  • Configuration manipulation over all Visual Studio projects

    Hello, some one know how can I manipulate on some configuration over all projects in solution? For example, I create new configuration "Releas64" that means: "No debug, 64 bit, all files goes to c:\binaries", but I need to go over all 30 projects in our solution for to set those settings for every project.     I am trying to make a ranking manager for a small project.The totals are stored in the database.I can easily get the max and min using mysql and also arrange the records descending.The problem comes in when there is a tie.I need to show a tie in the form:1,2,3,3,4,5,6,7,7,7,7, etc.The repeated numbers will show the ties.I have been thinking of ways of achieving the above but i need more ideas;mine is seems long and complicated. Can anybody share his/her idea of doing the ties.

    I'm making a game using C++ and DirectX and it'd be nice to share my groups progress with other people by providing a single executable file instead of having to run a setup wizard. I've checked my Release and Debug folders but those executable don't work. The release .exe is something like 21KB which doesn't seem right. So I guess what I'm asking is how to make a single executable with all of the libraries and resource files included.

    Hi, In a project, I change a UILabel's text with setText, a UIButton's color and after that do a time consuming calculation, followed by an animation. However, the text's and color's change is reflected after the calculation is executed (and before the animation begins) however I want to reflect the changes immediately before calculation (as you guess it is a waiting text) How can I achieve this?

  • screenOrientation to fullsensor got error in Manifest

    I am trying to work on a project that will work on 4 orientations. I set it on AndroidManifest.xml android:screenOrientation="sensor", it works but it only does 3 orientation. So i set it to android:screenOrientation="fullSensor" for 4 orientation. Unfortunately, i got this error error: Error: String types not allowed (at 'screenOrientation' with value 'fullSensor'). Anybody knows how to make this work?

    I've inherited a Visual Studio/VB.Net numerical simulation project that has a likely inefficient calculation. Profiling indicates that the function is called a lot (1 million times plus) and spends about 50% of the overall calculation within this function. Here is the problematic portion Result = (A * (E ^ C)) / (D ^ C * B) (where A-C are local double variables and D & E global double variables) Result is then compared to a threshold which might have additional improvements as well, but I'll leave them another day any thoughts or help would be appreciated Steve

    Hi everybody, I've recently started using FDT, for a while I was using FlashDevelop, it had a really handy feature in Compiler options where you can set UseNetworkServices to false which would stop the compiled swf from connecting to the internet and became very useful for running standalone flash apps without security warnings when loading in an external xml file etc. Does anybody know if FDT has a similar function? If there isn't a way, then no worries, I can compile the project in Flash Develop, however it would be best if I can do it from FDT. Cheers guys, Will
