• If you switched from Spring to Guice for IoC what were the factors for this?

  We have moderate application using Spring but we started using GWT in another application and are completely sold on Guice. Now, considering converting from Spring to Guice or using both where Guice is used for IoC is an option. Did you have to make similar decisions? Did you keep Spring for other components or had to replace it with alternative framework(s) completely?

  I've implement my activeX control in Delphi. I've build a c# application to embed it. It runs fine on my computer. After that, I copy and paste all c# solution with the my ocx file to another computer, register by regsrv32.exe succeed, add to COM components on visual studio toolbox, compile and run again. It consistently complains ' System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8000FFFF): Catastrophic failure (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8000FFFF (E_UNEXPECTED)) What's problem I'm dealing with? What may I do wrong?

  Python's urlparse function parses an url into six components (scheme, netloc, path and others stuff) Now I've found that parsing "example.com/path/file.ext" return no netloc but a path "example.com/path/file.ext". Should't it be netloc = "example.com" and path = "/path/file.ext"? Do we really need a "://" to determine wether or not a netloc exists? Python's ticket: http://bugs.python.org/issue8284

When I try to start an application that I developed for Windows Mobile 6, I'm getting an error Cannot find 'Projectname' (or one of its components) Make sure the path and filename are correct and that all the required libraries are available My app is a simple hello world app. What could cause that such error message?
