    I'm dying to know how I can make a GUI for ffmpeg and jhead in OSX. I've been looking for a solution for a while and thought you, stackoverflow's users, could help me. Maybe you know some document I haven't come across of or, better, a tutorial to make a GUI. I love those two tools but I like the simplicity of drag/drop operations. Note: I don't need a GUI for them, I want to make one.

Secondly the main question is that I want to use kendo grid to consume webapi and i want to use it in a widget in which and pass the datasource to this widget.   • CursorLoader, get URI for local database

    I'm a newbie android programmer and I recently followed a tutorial which shows how to create a local SQLite database by using SQLiteDatabase.rawQuery to return a Cursor. I would like to modify my app to use CursorLoader which is apparently a better way to access the database. My problem is the CursorLoader constructor expects a URI to be given. Do I just input "file:///[path to db]"? Seems a bit messy.

  • Why is cakephp form input stored in $this->data and POST data stored in $this->params['form'] ?

    the cakephp rest tutorial says that post data should be in $this-data, but I am finding that it is not, but instead inside $this-params['form'] However, when using cakephp form helper in a view, the data is in $this-data. Am I correct to have to check both locations in my controller? It just seems a bit of a waste of extra code. Shouldnt the data appear in one place for whether it came from a rest rest requestor or Cakephp form post? ps im using cakephp 1.3

    Hi, I am pretty new to CakePHP, having been using rails for a little while. My question is, can anyone recommend a good user management, authentication and acl plugin or component for Cake? I have come across this one, but it has not been updated since 2008. If not can anyone recommend a good book/tutorial site for this kind of set up?     I have been trying to setup Android Honeycomb (3.2) with VirtualBox according to this tutorial: http://androidspin.com/2011/01/24/howto-install-android-x86-2-2-in-virtualbox/ but using this iso instead: http://code.google.com/p/android-x86/downloads/detail?name=android-x86-3.2-RC1-tegav2.iso&can=2&q When I type netcfg if gives me: 127.0.0.1/8, so apparently it is not connecting in the network. I tried setting the network to NAT and Bridge, but no results.. Is there anything I am missing?

    After trying to find a reference to an API/tutorial to such thing, I have come here. I would like to scan a specific group wall, pulling all posts from it, with PHP or C#. In the end, I would like to have a nested-array containing each posts, with the next details: An array of the related comments Likes Views Obviously, I don't ask for any code, only a reference to the related API I will need to use. EDIT: If this is not possible, should I consider cURL as an option?
