  • WPF scrollview scrolled to the bottom default

    - by code-zoop
I have a scrollview containing a ListBox. I would like the scrollview to scroll all the way to the bottom by default when the view has been loaded! This because the most recent element is always the last element in the ListBox. Is there an easy way to achieve this behavior? Thanks

  • Theming the default search results page in Drupal

    - by David Pratt
I'm trying to customise the mark-up of the default search results page in Drupal 6. Specifically I'd like to remove the search box and the title from the page - I know I can hide it with CSS, but I'd rather it wasn't rendered in the first place. Ideally, in the same why that you theme a particular content type node by copying the node.tpl.php and renaming it to something like node-blog.tpl.php and then amending the mark-up accordingly - is there an equivalent way to do this for the search results page?

  • Reducing size of a character array in Numpy

    - by Morgoth
Given a character array: In [21]: x = np.array(['a ','bb ','cccc ']) One can remove the whitespace using: In [22]: np.char.strip(x) Out[22]: array(['a', 'bb', 'cccc'], dtype='|S8') but is there a way to also shrink the width of the column to the minimum required size, in the above case |S4?

  • array size for extendible hashing

    - by Phenom
If I want to use extendible hashing to store a maximum of 100 records, then what is the minimum array size that I need? I am guessing that an array of 100 would be sufficient, but I could be wrong. I also suspect that I can use a smaller array.

Hi, How to create a small eps file from a Matlab figure. I use LaTeX and the eps that I'm getting with Matlab (R2010a) is of the order 6 MB. How to set the plot options to give an eps figure of smaller size. Does the render options painters or zbuffer help? Thanks a lot...

  • Set default browser when debugging WPF?

    - by Albert Walker
I'm using VWD Express 2008 to develop a WPF Browser Application. When I start debugging, it launches the XBAP in my default browser, which is Opera. Obviously, XBAPs don't work in Opera, so I have to repeatedly right-click on the document to open in IE. Is there any way to change the settings for PresentationHost.exe so that it always opens with IE? A registry setting, perhaps?

  • How to override the default text in MATLAB

    - by Richie Cotton
In MATLAB, when you click File - New - Function M-File, you get a file with the following contents: function [ output_args ] = Untitled( input_args ) %UNTITLED Summary of this function goes here % Detailed explanation goes here end Is it possible to override this behaviour, and specify your own text? (The motivation is that I'm trying to persuade my colleagues to document their m-files more thoroughly, and having default text for them to fill in might encourage them.)

  • Reset element to "default" event

    - by Channel72
In Javascript, how can you set the event handler of a DOM element to default behavior? For example, suppose I set the onkeypress event of an input element: elem.onkeypress = function() { alert("Key pressed!"); } Later, how can I remove this event? Is it okay to simply set the onkeypress property to null? I tried that and it works, but I don't know if it is the proper way to do this.

  • Optimum size of transaction in Postgres?

    - by Joe
I'm running a process that does a lot of updates ( 100,000) to a table. I have the choice between putting all the updates in a single transaction or committing transactions every 1000 or so. Ignore for the moment the case where a transaction fails and is aborted. I'm interested in the best size of transaction for memory and speed efficiency.

  • Reset TextBox.Background to default in WPF so it still gets updated when system settings change

    - by Neo
I have a TextBox that I wish to reset its Background property to its default value after changing it to a different colour. I have tried setting it to SystemColors.WindowBrush, but then, if the Display Settings are updated to change this value, it doesn't get dynamically reflected in the TextBox (it does normally if TextBox.Background hasn't been touched). Any idea how to do this?

  • MSDN about stored procedure default return value

    - by Ilya
Hello, Could anyone point exactly where MSDN says thet every user stored procedure returns 0 by default if no error happens? In other words, could I be sure that example code given below when being a stored procedure IF someStatement BEGIN RETURN 1 END should always return zero if someStatement is false and no error occurs? I know that it actually works this way, but I failed to find any explicit statement about this from Microsoft.

  • C++: Unknown pointer size when forward declaring (error C2036)

    - by Rosarch
In a header file, I have forward declared two members of a namespace: namespace Foo { struct Odp typedef std::vector<Odp> ODPVEC; }; class Bar { public: Foo::ODPVEC baz; // C2036 }; The error generated by the compiler is: error C2036: 'Foo::Odp *': unknown size I'm guessing this is an issue with forward declaring Odp. How can I get around this?
