  • Reg Ex parsing error - too many )'s

    - by Chris Herring
    Using regular expressions in .NET with the pattern ^%[^%]+%\Z and the string "few)few%" I get the error - System.ArgumentException: parsing "few)few%" - Too many )'s. Dim match As System.Text.RegularExpressions.Match = System.Text.RegularExpressions.Regex.Match("^%[^%]+%\Z", "few)few%") What would the issue be? Do I need to escape brackets in any input expression to reg ex? (I'm trying the determine if string has the wildcard % at the beginning and end of the string but not elsewhere in the string)

  • c# WinForms ReportViewer Performance issue using RefreshReport() and ServerReport.SetParameters()

    - by mdk
    Hi All, Currently I am writing a c# client application that uses the WinForms ReportViewer Control to display reports from a remote server. I am having performance troubles with the ReportViewer Control, to be specific with the 2 methods reportViewer.ServerReport.SetParameters() and reportViewer.RefreshReport() – they both take a really long time to complete and not just on the very first call, but on each subsequent call as well. SetParameters() takes 20 to 40 seconds (they vary greatly in time, some execute event okay fast) and RefreshReport() is a bit faster but still takes ages. I don’t think the server is the culprit, as the same report viewed using the browser renders pretty fast, about a second tops. The report in question doesn't matter as well. When I break into the process and take a look at the call stack, I see a call to Socket.DoConnect. So I thought that’s a good reason to start using fiddler and I installed it, disabled caching and fired up the app again to see which call takes that long to connect, but the performance issue was gone. By using a proxy I am having the same performance as the webbrowser. FYI: I am using NTLM authentication in the following way: reportViewer.ServerReport.ReportServerCredentials.NetworkCredentials = new NetworkCredentials() { Username = ... } I don’t have a strong webbackground, so I guess my question is: What should this tell me / What should I be looking into? (Btw: Adding fiddler to my installation package is not the solution I am looking for :)) I am grateful for any pointers. Take care, -Martin

  • Problem installing PyQt4 on Windows 7

    - by alfredozn
    I have a problem installing PyQt4. I have Windows 7 with Python 3.1.2 installed. When I execute the PyQt-Py3.1-gpl-4.7.3-2.exe it shows the warning: This copy of PyQt has been built against Python v3.1 which doesn't seem to be installed. Do you wish to continue with the installation? Why the installer can't see my python installtion???, I set the PYTHONHOME env variable and added python to the PATH variable but is always the same warn. I don't know if the last .2 in my python's version is the problem. If I ignore the warning and install the PyQt, when I try to run the Examples and Demos from the All Programs menu it doesn't show anything. Im new to python and Qt, I don't know how to debug or something to solve this problem =S

  • WPF MVVM Trigger Animation on MainWindow close

    - by Scott
    I'm using trying to implement MVVM in my app. I have a MainWindow.xaml and a MainWindowViewModel. I'm in the process of removing all of the code-behind code from the MainWindow.xaml but I'm stuck on one final piece. In my pre-MVVM setup I started an animation in the MainWindow.xaml.cs that would fade out the form before closing it. Since Closing is not a RoutedEvent, I had to use code-behind to get this to work. My VM has the following two properties that can be bound: ClosingWindow and CloseWindow. My goal was to bind a DataTrigger in my MainWindowStyle to the ClosingWindow property of the VM. When ClosingWindow was set to True, it would start an animation using the following XAML: <DataTrigger Binding="{Binding ClosingWindow}" Value="True"> <DataTrigger.EnterActions> <BeginStoryboard> <Storyboard> <DoubleAnimation Storyboard.TargetProperty="Opacity" From="1" To="0" Duration="0:0:2"/> </Storyboard> </BeginStoryboard> </DataTrigger.EnterActions> </DataTrigger> Somehow (insert magic here) I was going to set CloseWindow on the VM, via Binding, to True when the animation completed, which would then use an AttachedBehavior to Close the Window. The AttachedBehavior works perfectly when I just set CloseWindow directly using the following XAML: <DataTrigger Binding="{Binding CloseWindow}" Value="True"> <Setter Property="ab:WindowCloseBehavior.Close" Value="True"/> </DataTrigger> ...but I want to reproduce the form fade before the form actually closes. So there are two issues that I've run into: First, the animation doesn't work. I enter the trigger correctly (I've taken out the animation and put a Setter statement in there that changes the Title of the MainWindow to "Closing" and it changes correctly when ClosingWindow = True) but the DoubleAnimation never does anything. Second, there's no way to set the value of CloseWindow once the animation is complete. I looked at Marlon Grech's animation code but that won't work on DataTriggers. I can't publish a RoutedEvent because my VM doesn't descend from UIElement, and I've been Googling all day trying to come up with a clever, MVVM-friendly way to do this with no luck. So any ideas why that animation doesn't do anything? And more importantly, how would you solve the entire problem of animating a form fade on close from the VM? I don't doubt that my entire solution to this problem might be whacked so I'm open to just about anything.

  • Implementation of ZipCrypto / Zip 2.0 encryption in java

    - by gomesla
    I'm trying o implement the zipcrypto / zip 2.0 encryption algoritm to deal with encrypted zip files as discussed in http://www.pkware.com/documents/casestudies/APPNOTE.TXT I believe I've followed the specs but just can't seem to get it working. I'm fairly sure the issue has to do with my interpretation of the crc algorithm. The documentation states CRC-32: (4 bytes) The CRC-32 algorithm was generously contributed by David Schwaderer and can be found in his excellent book "C Programmers Guide to NetBIOS" published by Howard W. Sams & Co. Inc. The 'magic number' for the CRC is 0xdebb20e3. The proper CRC pre and post conditioning is used, meaning that the CRC register is pre-conditioned with all ones (a starting value of 0xffffffff) and the value is post-conditioned by taking the one's complement of the CRC residual. Here is the snippet that I'm using for the crc32 public class PKZIPCRC32 { private static final int CRC32_POLYNOMIAL = 0xdebb20e3; private int crc = 0xffffffff; private int CRCTable[]; public PKZIPCRC32() { buildCRCTable(); } private void buildCRCTable() { int i, j; CRCTable = new int[256]; for (i = 0; i <= 255; i++) { crc = i; for (j = 8; j > 0; j--) if ((crc & 1) == 1) crc = (crc >>> 1) ^ CRC32_POLYNOMIAL; else crc >>>= 1; CRCTable[i] = crc; } } private int crc32(byte buffer[], int start, int count, int lastcrc) { int temp1, temp2; int i = start; crc = lastcrc; while (count-- != 0) { temp1 = crc >>> 8; temp2 = CRCTable[(crc ^ buffer[i++]) & 0xFF]; crc = temp1 ^ temp2; } return crc; } public int crc32(int crc, byte buffer) { return crc32(new byte[] { buffer }, 0, 1, crc); } } Below is my complete code. Can anyone see what I'm doing wrong. package org.apache.commons.compress.archivers.zip; import java.io.IOException; import java.io.InputStream; public class ZipCryptoInputStream extends InputStream { public class PKZIPCRC32 { private static final int CRC32_POLYNOMIAL = 0xdebb20e3; private int crc = 0xffffffff; private int CRCTable[]; public PKZIPCRC32() { buildCRCTable(); } private void buildCRCTable() { int i, j; CRCTable = new int[256]; for (i = 0; i <= 255; i++) { crc = i; for (j = 8; j > 0; j--) if ((crc & 1) == 1) crc = (crc >>> 1) ^ CRC32_POLYNOMIAL; else crc >>>= 1; CRCTable[i] = crc; } } private int crc32(byte buffer[], int start, int count, int lastcrc) { int temp1, temp2; int i = start; crc = lastcrc; while (count-- != 0) { temp1 = crc >>> 8; temp2 = CRCTable[(crc ^ buffer[i++]) & 0xFF]; crc = temp1 ^ temp2; } return crc; } public int crc32(int crc, byte buffer) { return crc32(new byte[] { buffer }, 0, 1, crc); } } private static final long ENCRYPTION_KEY_1 = 0x12345678; private static final long ENCRYPTION_KEY_2 = 0x23456789; private static final long ENCRYPTION_KEY_3 = 0x34567890; private InputStream baseInputStream = null; private final PKZIPCRC32 checksumEngine = new PKZIPCRC32(); private long[] keys = null; public ZipCryptoInputStream(ZipArchiveEntry zipEntry, InputStream inputStream, String passwd) throws Exception { baseInputStream = inputStream; // Decryption // ---------- // PKZIP encrypts the compressed data stream.   • IE8 losing session cookies in popup windows.

    - by HackedByChinese
    We have an ASP.NET application that uses Forms Auth. When users log in, a session ID cookie and a Forms Auth ticket (stored as a cookie) are generated. These are session cookies, not permanent cookies. It is intentional and desirable that when the browser closes, the user is effectively logged out. Once a user logs in, a new window is popped up using window.open('location here');. The page that is opened is effectively the workspace the user works in throughout the rest of their session. From this page, other pop-ups are also used. Lately, we've had a number of customers (all using latest versions of IE8) complaining that the when they log in, the initial pop-up takes them back to the log in screen rather than their homepage. Alternately, users can sometimes log in, get to the homepage (which again, is in a new pop up window), and it all seems fine, until any additional pop-ups are created, where it starts redirecting them to the log in screen again. In attempting to troubleshoot the issue, I've used good old Fiddler. When the problem starts manifesting, I've noticed that the browser is not sending up the ASP.NET session ID session cookie OR the Forms Auth ticket session cookie, even though the response to the log in POST clearly pushes down those cookies. What's more strange is if I CTRL+N to open a new window from the popped-up window that is missing the session cookies, then manually type in the URL to the home page, those cookies magically appear again. However, subsequent window.open(); calls will continue to be broken, not sending the session cookies and taking the user to the log in screen. It's important to note that sometimes, for seemingly no good reason, those same users can suddenly log in and work normally for a while, then it goes back to broken. Now, I've ensured that there are no browser add-ons, plug-ins, toolbars, etc. are running. I've added our site as a trusted site and dropped the security settings to Low, I've modified the Cookie Privacy policy to "accept all" and even disabled automatic policy settings, manually forcing it to accept everything and include session cookies. Nothing appears to affect it. Also note the web application resides on a single server. There is no load balancing, web gardens, server farms, clusters, etc. The server does reside behind an ISA server, but other than that it's pretty straight forward. I've been searching around for days and haven't found anything actionable. Heck, sometimes I can't even reproduce it reliably. I have found a few references to people having this same problem, but they seem to be referencing an issue that was allegedly fixed in a beta or RC release (example: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/179260/ie8-loses-cookies-when-opening-a-new-window-after-a-redirect). These are release versions of IE, with up-to-date patches. I'm aware that I can try to set permanent cookies instead of session cookies. However, this has drastic security implications for our application. Update It seems that the problem automagically goes away when the user is added as a Local Administrator on the machine. Only time will tell if this change permanently (and positively) affects this problem. Time to bust out ProcMon and see if there is a resource access problem.

  • Rounded Rect UIButton without the border

    - by Dave DeLong
    I'm trying to draw a normal rounded rect UIButton, but without the border. Ideally I'd like to be able to change some setting on the UIButton to disable the border. My problem is that if I change the button type to "custom", I don't get the nice blue selection gradient (which I want to keep), and I have no idea how to draw it manually.

  • [C#] RSACryptoServiceProvider Using the Public Key to decrypt Private Key encrypted Data ?

    - by prixone
    Hello, i went thru lots and lots of searchs and results and pages considering this matter but havent found the solution yet. Like i described in the title i want to decrypt data using my Public Key which is something i am able to do with my PHP code, my certificate is generated from my PHP page. Here is a sample of what i am trying: public string Decrypt(string data) { X509Certificate2 cert = new X509Certificate2(); cert.Import(Encoding.ASCII.GetBytes(webApi["PublicDefaultKey"])); RSACryptoServiceProvider rsa = (RSACryptoServiceProvider)cert.PublicKey.Key; byte[] ciphertextBytes = Convert.FromBase64String(data); byte[] plaintextBytes = rsa.Decrypt(ciphertextBytes, false); return System.Text.Encoding.UTF8.GetString(plaintextBytes); } MessageBox.Show(Decrypt("pgcl93TpVfyHubuRlL72/PZN0nA4Q+HHx8Y15qGvUyTNpI6y7J13YG07ZVEyB7Dbgx63FSw9vEw1D1Z3bvNbI0gqalVfKTfHv5tKVc7Y6nQwQYwoODpUhVpa/K9OP1lqx4esnxqwJx95G0rqgJTdS+Yo773s5UcJrHzzbsX2z+w=")); here is the public key i am using for tests: -----BEGIN CERTIFICATE----- MIIDxDCCAy2gAwIBAgIBADANBgkqhkiG9w0BAQUFADCBozELMAkGA1UEBhMCVUsx EDAOBgNVBAgTB0VuZ2xhbmQxDzANBgNVBAcTBkxvbmRvbjESMBAGA1UEChMJTU1P Q2xldmVyMSMwIQYDVQQLExpNTU9DbGV2ZXIgRGV2ZWxvcGVyJ3MgVGVhbTESMBAG A1UEAxMJTU1PQ2xldmVyMSQwIgYJKoZIhvcNAQkBFhVzdXBwb3J0QG1tb2NsZXZl ci5jb20wHhcNMTAwNTE2MTkxNDQ4WhcNMTEwNTE2MTkxNDQ4WjCBozELMAkGA1UE BhMCVUsxEDAOBgNVBAgTB0VuZ2xhbmQxDzANBgNVBAcTBkxvbmRvbjESMBAGA1UE ChMJTU1PQ2xldmVyMSMwIQYDVQQLExpNTU9DbGV2ZXIgRGV2ZWxvcGVyJ3MgVGVh bTESMBAGA1UEAxMJTU1PQ2xldmVyMSQwIgYJKoZIhvcNAQkBFhVzdXBwb3J0QG1t b2NsZXZlci5jb20wgZ8wDQYJKoZIhvcNAQEBBQADgY0AMIGJAoGBAMozHr17PL+N seZyadobUmpIV+RKqmRUGX0USIdj0i0yvwvltu3AIKAyRhGz16053jZV2WeglCEj qfiewF9sYTAAoIVGtdd/sZvO4uUcng9crSzDo0CrEPs/Tn5SunmlmyFlZfdlqpAM XXLno/HMo9cza0CrcMnRokaTiu8szBeBAgMBAAGjggEEMIIBADAdBgNVHQ4EFgQU zip+3/hBIpjvdcSoWQ2rW+xDEWAwgdAGA1UdIwSByDCBxYAUzip+3/hBIpjvdcSo WQ2rW+xDEWChgamkgaYwgaMxCzAJBgNVBAYTAlVLMRAwDgYDVQQIEwdFbmdsYW5k MQ8wDQYDVQQHEwZMb25kb24xEjAQBgNVBAoTCU1NT0NsZXZlcjEjMCEGA1UECxMa TU1PQ2xldmVyIERldmVsb3BlcidzIFRlYW0xEjAQBgNVBAMTCU1NT0NsZXZlcjEk MCIGCSqGSIb3DQEJARYVc3VwcG9ydEBtbW9jbGV2ZXIuY29tggEAMAwGA1UdEwQF MAMBAf8wDQYJKoZIhvcNAQEFBQADgYEAyU6RLifBXSyQUkBFnTcI6h5ryujh+6o6 eQ1wuPOPmRdYJZuWx/5mjMpIF13sYlNorcOv5WaEnp8/Jfuwc9h/jXlcujser0UE WoaaFwK81O801Xkv2zEm2UUWiOabrGTIT4FVy3gCUXJYjaCnvfSdmkfLJOQxNHVt 4NTMp7IeF60= -----END CERTIFICATE----- by default, the PHP generates the key in PKCS as far as i know, from my C# code i can encrypt using my publick key with out any problems and decrypt it on my php page but so far i was not able to decrypt data sent from my php page encrypted with the private key which is something i can do on my php... i did like some help to understand what i am doing wrong... the error when i run the functions is "bad data" at rsa.Decrypt(ciphertextBytes, false); which i couldnt found anymore information at it... • drawing thick, textured lines in OpenGL

    - by NateS
    I need to draw thick textured line segments in OpenGL. Actually I need curves made out of short line segments. Here is what I have: In the upper left is an example of two connected line segments. The second image shows once the lines are given width, they overlap. If I apply a texture that uses translucency, the overlap looks terrible. The third image shows that both lines are shortened by half the amount necessary to make the thick line corners just touch. This way I can fill the space between the lines with a triangle. On the right you can see this works well (ignore the horizontal line when the crappy texture repeats). But it doesn't always work well. In the bottom left the curve is made of many short line segments. Note the incorrect texture application. My program is written in Java, making use of the LWJGL OpenGL binding (and minor use of Slick, a 2D helper framework). I've made a zip file that contains an executable JAR so you can easily see the problem. It also has the Java code (there is only one source file) and an Eclipse project, so you can instantly run it through Eclipse and hack at it if you like. Here she is: http://n4te.com/temp/lines.zip To run, execute "java -jar lines.jar". You may need "-Djava.library.path=." before -jar if you are not on Windows. Press space to toggle texture/wireframe. The wireframe only shows the line segments, the triangle between them isn't drawn. I don't need to draw arbitrary lines, just bezier curves similar to what you see in the program. Sorry the code is a bit messy, once I have a solution I will refactor. I have investigated using GLUtessellator. It greatly simplified construction of the line, but I found that applying the texture was perfect. It worked most of the time (top image below), but long vertical curves would have severe texture distortion (bottom image below): This turned out to be much easier to code, but in the end worse than my approach. I believe what I'm trying to do is called "line tessellation" or "stroke tessellation". I assume this has been solved already? Is there standard code I can leverage? Otherwise, how can I fix my code so that the texture does not freak out on short, vertical curves?

  • Compiling JS-Test-Driver Plugin and Installing it on Eclipse 3.5.1 Galileo?

    - by leeand00
    I downloaded the source of the js-test-driver from: http://js-test-driver.googlecode.com/svn/tags/1.2 It compiles just fine, but one of the unit tests fails: [junit] Tests run: 1, Failures: 1, Errors: 0, Time elapsed: 0.012 sec [junit] Test com.google.jstestdriver.eclipse.ui.views.FailureOnlyViewerFilterTest FAILED I am using: - ANT 1.7.1 - javac 1.6.0_12 And I'm trying to install the js-test-driver plugin on Eclipse 3.5.1 Galileo Despite the failed test I installed the plugin into my C:\eclipse\dropins\js-test-driver directory by copying (exporting from svn) the compiled feature and plugins directories there, to see if it would yield any hints to what the problem is. When I started eclipse, added the plugin to the panel using Window-Show View-Other... • how to enable SQL Application Role via Entity Framework

    - by Ehsan Farahani
    I'm now developing big government application with entity framework. at first i have one problem about enable SQL application role. with ado.net I'm using below code: SqlCommand cmd = new SqlCommand("sys.sp_setapprole"); cmd.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure; cmd.Connection = _sqlConn; SqlParameter paramAppRoleName = new SqlParameter(); paramAppRoleName.Direction = ParameterDirection.Input; paramAppRoleName.ParameterName = "@rolename"; paramAppRoleName.Value = "AppRole"; cmd.Parameters.Add(paramAppRoleName); SqlParameter paramAppRolePwd = new SqlParameter(); paramAppRolePwd.Direction = ParameterDirection.Input; paramAppRolePwd.ParameterName = "@password"; paramAppRolePwd.Value = "123456"; cmd.Parameters.Add(paramAppRolePwd); SqlParameter paramCreateCookie = new SqlParameter(); paramCreateCookie.Direction = ParameterDirection.Input; paramCreateCookie.ParameterName = "@fCreateCookie"; paramCreateCookie.DbType = DbType.Boolean; paramCreateCookie.Value = 1; cmd.Parameters.Add(paramCreateCookie); SqlParameter paramEncrypt = new SqlParameter(); paramEncrypt.Direction = ParameterDirection.Input; paramEncrypt.ParameterName = "@encrypt"; paramEncrypt.Value = "none"; cmd.Parameters.Add(paramEncrypt); SqlParameter paramEnableCookie = new SqlParameter(); paramEnableCookie.ParameterName = "@cookie"; paramEnableCookie.DbType = DbType.Binary; paramEnableCookie.Direction = ParameterDirection.Output; paramEnableCookie.Size = 1000; cmd.Parameters.Add(paramEnableCookie); try { cmd.ExecuteNonQuery(); SqlParameter outVal = cmd.Parameters["@cookie"]; // Store the enabled cookie so that approle can be disabled with the cookie. _appRoleEnableCookie = (byte[]) outVal.Value; } catch (Exception ex) { result = false; msg = "Could not execute enable approle proc." + Environment.NewLine + ex.Message; } But no matter how much I searched I could not find a way to implement on EF. Another question is: how to Add Application Role to Entity data model designer? I'm using the below code for execute parameter with EF: AEntities ar = new AEntities(); DbConnection con = ar.Connection; con.Open(); msg = ""; bool result = true; DbCommand cmd = con.CreateCommand(); cmd.CommandType = CommandType.StoredProcedure; cmd.Connection = con; var d = new DbParameter[]{ new SqlParameter{ ParameterName="@r", Value ="AppRole",Direction = ParameterDirection.Input} , new SqlParameter{ ParameterName="@p", Value ="123456",Direction = ParameterDirection.Input} }; string sql = "EXEC " + procName + " @rolename=@r,@password=@p"; var s = ar.ExecuteStoreCommand(sql, d); When run ExecuteStoreCommand this line return error: Application roles can only be activated at the ad hoc level.

  • Deploying MVC2 application to IIS7.5 - Ninject asked to provide controllers for content files

    - by Rune Jacobsen
    I have an application that started life as an MVC (1.0) app in Visual Studio 2008 Sp1 with a bunch of Silverlight 3 projects as part of the site. Nothing fancy at all. Using Ninject for dependency injection (first version 2 beta, now the released version 2 with the MVC extensions). With the release of .Net 4.0, VS2010, MVC2 etc., we decided to move the application to the newest platform. The conversion wizard in VS2010 apparently took care of everything, with one exception - it didn't change references to mvc1 to now point to mvc2, so I had to do that manually. Of course, this makes me think about other MVC2 things that could be missing from my app, that would be there if I did File - New Project... But that is not the focus of this question. When I deploy this application to the IIS 7.5 server (running on Win2008 R2 x64), the application as such works. However, images, scripts and other static content doesn't seem to exist. Of course they are there on disk on the server, but they don't show up in the client web browser. I am fairly new to IIS, so the only trick I knew is to try to open the web page in a browser on the server, as that could give me more information. And here, finally, we meet our enemy. If I try to go directly to the URL of one of the images (http://server/Content/someimage.jpg for instance), I get the following error in the browser: The IControllerFactory 'Ninject.Web.Mvc.NinjectControllerFactory' did not return a controller for a controller named 'Content'. Aha. The web server tries to feed this request to MVC, who with its' default routing setup assumes Content to be a controller, and fails. How can I get it to treat Content/ and Scripts/ (among others) as non-controllers and just pass through the static content? This of course works with Cassini on my developer machine, but as soon as I deploy, this problem hits. I am using the last version of Ninject MVC 2 where the IoC tool should pass missing controllers to the base controller factory, but this has apparently not helped. I have also tried to add ignore routes for Content etc., but this apparently has no effect either. I am not even sure I am addressing the problem on the right level. Does anyone know where to look to get this app going? I have full control of the web server so I can more or less do whatever I want to it, as long as it starts working. Thanks!

  • CFBundleVersion error even though new version is higher

    - by Rob
    When trying to upload an upgrade binary to iTunes Connect, I am getting this error message even though I have updated CFBundleVersion in my info.plist file to a higher value (and checked the package contents after building it to be sure it copied over). I have already successfully submitted a different app upgrade by doing this same method, but for whatever reason it won't work this time. Any insights or is this an iTunes bug? The binary you uploaded was invalid. The key CFBundleVersion in the Info.plist file must contain a higher version than that of the previously uploaded version.

  • OpenXML SDK: Make Excel recalculate formula

    - by chiccodoro
    I update some cells of an Excel spreadsheet through the Microsoft Office OpenXML SDK 2.0. Changing the values makes all cells containing formula that depend on the changed cells invalid. However, due to the cached values Excel does not recalculate the formular, even if the user clicks on "Calculate now". What is the best way to invalidate all dependent cells of the whole workbook through the SDK? So far, I've found the following code snippet at http://cdonner.com/introduction-to-microsofts-open-xml-format-sdk-20-with-a-focus-on-excel-documents.htm: public static void ClearAllValuesInSheet (SpreadsheetDocument spreadSheet, string sheetName) { WorksheetPart worksheetPart = GetWorksheetPartByName(spreadSheet, sheetName); foreach (Row row in worksheetPart.Worksheet. GetFirstChild().Elements()) { foreach (Cell cell in row.Elements()) { if (cell.CellFormula != null && cell.CellValue != null) { cell.CellValue.Remove(); } } } worksheetPart.Worksheet.Save(); } Besides the fact that this snippet does not compile for me, it has two limitations: It only invalidates a single sheet, although other sheets might contain dependent formula It does not take into account any dependencies. I am looking for a way that is efficient (in particular, only invalidates cells that depend on a certain cell's value), and takes all sheets into account. Update: In the meantime I have managed to make the code compile & run, and to remove the cached values on all sheets of the workbook. (See answers.) Still I am interested in better/alternative solutions, in particular how to only delete cached values of the cells that actually depend on the updated cell.

  • Windows Workflow Foundation 4 (WF4) Bookmark

    - by Russ Clark
    I'm working with Visual Studio 2010 and have a workflow where I'm trying to resume a bookmark. The bookmark appears to be getting set just fine, but when I try to run the code below to resume it, I get an entry in the InstancesTable in the persistence database with the SurrogateLockOwnerID field set to an integer, usually this field is null, and I can no longer do anything with the workflow. I think this is indicating that I have some kind of blocking lock going on, but I can't find any references anywhere to the SurrogateLockOwnerID. Does anyone know what is causing this, and how to fix it? WorkflowApplication workflowApp = new WorkflowApplication(new WebCARSWorkflow()); workflowApp.Extensions.Add(new SqlTrackingParticipant(ConnString)); InstanceStore instanceStore = new SqlWorkflowInstanceStore(ConnString); workflowApp.InstanceStore = instanceStore; workflowApp.Load(WorkflowInstanceId); workflowApp.PersistableIdle = (waie) => PersistableIdleAction.Unload; Approver actualApprover = new Approver(ProcessingStatus.Awaiting, my_RDA_Role, "RDAGetPlayersFromExternalRoleURI", 14); actualApprover.ActionDate = DateTime.Now; Player actualPlayer = (Player)GetPlayer(login); actualApprover.ActualPlayer = actualPlayer; actualApprover.ApproverAction = action; workflowApp.ResumeBookmark("ErrorOccurredBookmark", actualApprover);

  • Programmatically examine DLL contents

    - by Peter Hansen
    Is it possible programmatically to discover the exported names (globals, entry points, whatever) in a Windows DLL file without implementing a parser for the binary executable file format itself? I know there are tools to do this (though no open source ones I've found), but I'm curious whether there is a Windows API to accomplish the same thing or whether such tools operate merely by examining the binary file directly. I suspect there is an API for .NET libraries: if that's the case then is there a similar one for native DLLs? Edit: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1128150 is basically an exact duplicate. The answer there is roughly "there is no API, but you can hack it using LoadLibraryEx() and navigating a few resulting data structures". Edit: I was able to use the accepted answer at http://stackoverflow.com/questions/1128150 to create a quick DLL dumper with Python and ctypes that works.

  • Visual Studio Code Analysis: CA0001 Error Running Code Analysis - object reference not set to an instance of an object

    - by sturdytree
    For a WPF application being developed in VS 2012 (Ultimate), the application runs fine when a particular project's code analysis is disabled. Enabling it results in the error above. This was working fine until recently (i.e. running with code analysis enabled for the particular project) and the only recent change I can think of is removing NHibernate Profiler (using NuGet). Will be grateful for any pointers on how to debug this, or to see a more detailed log/error message.
