Now I get this error when trying to insert new objects into my managedObjectContext: *** Terminating app due to uncaught exception 'NSInternalInconsistencyException', reason: '"MailMessage" is not a subclass of NSManagedObject.' But clearly it is: @interface MailMessage : NSManagedObject { .... And when I run this code: NSManagedObjectModel *managedObjectModel = [[self.managedObjectContext persistentStoreCoordinator] managedObjectModel]; NSEntityDescription *entity =[[managedObjectModel entitiesByName] objectForKey:@"MailMessage"]; NSManagedObject *newObject = [[NSManagedObject alloc] initWithEntity:entity insertIntoManagedObjectContext:self.managedObjectContext]; It runs fine when I do not present an MFMailComposeViewController, but if I run this code in the - (void)mailComposeController:(MFMailComposeViewController*)controller didFinishWithResult:(MFMailComposeResult)result error:(NSError*)error { method, it throws the above error when creating the newObject variable. The entity object when I use print object produces the following: (<NSEntityDescription: 0x1202e0>) name MailMessage, managedObjectClassName MailMessage, renamingIdentifier MailMessage, isAbstract 0, superentity name (null), properties { in both cases, so I don't think the managedObjectContext is completely invalid. I have no idea why it would say MailMessage is not a subclass of NSManagedObject at that point, and not at the other. Any help would be appreciated, thanks in advance.

I updated the model class aswell and no compiler error, butr a crash when I want to start the example.   • Possible to convert list of #defines into strings (C++)

    Suppose I have a list of #defines in a header file for an external library. These #defines represent error codes returned from functions. I want to write a conversion function that can take as an input an error code and return as an output a string literal representing the actual #define name. As an example, if I have #define NO_ERROR 0 #define ONE_KIND_OF_ERROR 1 #define ANOTHER_KIND_OF_ERROR 2 I would like a function to be able to called like int errorCode = doSomeLibraryFunction(); if (errorCode) writeToLog(convertToString(errorCode)); And have convertToString() be able to auto-convert that error code without being a giant switch-case looking like const char* convertToString(int errorCode) { switch (errorCode) { case NO_ERROR: return "NO_ERROR"; case ONE_KIND_OF_ERROR: return "ONE_KIND_OF_ERROR"; ... ... ... I have a feeling that if this is possible, it would be possible using templates and metaprogramming, but that would only work the error codes were actually a type and not a bunch of processor macros.   • Why might one app connect to SQL backend OK and a second app fail if they share the same connectionstring?

    Trying to figure out a SQL connection error 26 in our app. We've got two closely related apps Foo and FooAddIn. Foo is a Winforms app built in VS2010 and runs fine and connects fine to our SQLExpress back end. FooAddIn is an Outlook AddIn which references Foo.exe and connects to the same SQL Express instance. Or rather, it doesn't connect, instead reporting: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified) Now, both apps share the same connectionstring and we've verified they really do share the same connectionstring. At this stage we're just testing from within the same developer machine, so the apps are on the same machine, going via the same VS2010 IDE. So a lot of the advice online for this error doesn't apply because the fact that Foo connects through to SQL Express tells us the database is there and available and can be reached. What else is there to check? One thing is that Foo and FooAddIn are running different runtime versions of System.Data (v2.0.50727 and v4.0.30319). Could that be a factor?

  • AJAX/JSONP Question. Access id denied using IE while requesting corss domain.

    Ok, Here we go. I have already searched the Stack for the answer i have found some useful info but i want to clear up some more things. I also search the net for the answer but no real help. I have worked with some api (yelp, ouside.in). In yelp i use to inject the script to head with the url request to the api with a callback funcion. I worked fine in all browsers. But while using outside.in api when i call the url the callback in not working. In yelp they have a url field can be used like that callback=callbackfuncion so the callback will automatically called. But in outside.in there is not such field available. Is there are any standard command for callback function which will work regardless of any server/api? I also tried a standard ajax request using jQuery $.ajax() function. It worked for my local pc for both IE and other browser but did not working in IE showing the error: access denied, other borwser seems ok. Firebug in my FF also don't notice any errors.   • Trigger on database using a web application and a winform application

    Hello all, Situation: I have a web application which shows errors and where you can accept those error messages. I also have a service, which checks errors from a system and sets the error messages in the database. When I accept an error in the web application, i would like the service to know which error message has been accepted, so that it can do some other actions. My guess is that this could be done through some sort of trigger, but i can't figure out how. Can anyone help me with this?

    When I am going to upload a file, my $_POST variable knows the file name, but the $_FILES variable is null. I've used this code before, so I'm really stumped.     Why does the c++ program produce the error shown? I'm especially confused since outfile opens without error yet infile displays the error? Both are defined in xcode exactly the same!! I've altering the "path type" setting without success. The open on infile always fails! Any suggestions would be very much appreciated!!

  • Node.js Cron Job Messing with Date Object

    I'm trying to schedule several cron jobs to generate serial numbers for different entities within my web app. However I am running into this problem, when I'm looping each table, it says it has something to do with date.js. I'm not doing anything with a date object ? Not at this stage anyway. A couple of guesses is that the cron object is doing a date thing in its code and is referencing date.js.     I know that you can create global constants in terms of each other using string concatenation: define('FOO', 'foo'); define('BAR', FOO.'bar'); echo BAR; will print 'foobar'. However, I'm getting an error trying to do the same using class constants. class foobar { const foo = 'foo'; const foo2 = self::foo; const bar = self::foo.'bar'; } foo2 is defined without issue, but declaring const bar will error out Parse error: syntax error, unexpected '.', expecting ',' or ';' I've also tried using functions like sprintf() but it doesn't like the left paren any more than the string concatenator '.'. So is there any way to create class constants in terms of each other in anything more than a trivial set case like foo2?

    I'm a beginner in java so this question might seem a little stupid, my jdk and jre are installed in C:\program files, I write my program and save it in in my folder G:\start, now my program compiles without any error(the .class file is also generated), but when i run my program it says "unable to locate G:\lib\amd64\jvm.cfg", so i copy the 'lib' folder from my jdk folder and paste it in G:, again program compiles without any error, but when i run it,it gives my a new error saying "unable to locate G:\bin\server\jvm.dll",so i copy the 'bin' folder to g:, but now when i run, it gives me the same error again "unable to locate G:\bin\server\jvm.dll",where am I going wrong?

    We are having a problem with our selenium tests which run in IE on a virtual machine. Whenever there is a javascript error, a popup shows up and puts our system into a 'stuck' state - a user has to go clear that and restart the selenium test run. Is there a way to prevent the javascript error popup from putting the system into its stuck state? Would setting window.error be of any help here?

    I am trying to install an application and a group of services using PSTools, but I want to take into account that the computer I am trying to connect to may be turned off or on a different network, which is not reachable from the internal network. Basically if the machine is not able to be accessed through the admin share, this is the message that I am getting: Couldn't access MachineName: The network path was not found. Make sure that the default admin$ share is enabled on MachineName.
