• Which credentials should I put in for Google App Engine BulkLoader at development server?

I don't think that I have any problem with my files neither my models because I have successfully uploaded the data to the appspot.com application. So what should I put in for localhost credentials? • Merging two XML files into one XML file using Java

  I am stuck with how to proceed with combining two different XML files(which has the same structure). When I was doing some research on it, people say that XML parsers like DOM or StAX will have to be used. But cant I do it with the regular IOStream? I am currently trying to do with the help of IOStream but this is not solving my purpose, its being more complex. • Inline-editing: onBlur prevents onClick from being triggered (jQuery)

  Hello StackOverflow community! I'm currently working on my own jQuery plugin for inline-editing as those that already exist don't fit my needs. Anyway, I'd like to give the user the following (boolean) options concerning the way editing is supposed to work: submit_button reset_on_blur Let's say the user would like to have a submit button (submit_button = true) and wants the inline input element to be removed as soon as it loses focus (reset_on_blur = true). This leads to an onClick handler being registered for the button and an onBlur handler being registered for the input element. Every time the user clicks the button, however, the onBlur handler is also triggered and results in the edit mode being left, i.e. before the onClick event occurs. This makes submitting impossible. FYI, the HTML in edit mode looks like this: <td><input type="text" class="ie-input" value="Current value" /><div class="ie-content-backup" style="display: none;">Backup Value</div><input type="submit" class="ie-button-submit" value="Save" /></td> So, is there any way I could check in the onBlur handler if the focus was lost while activating the submit button, so that edit mode isn't left before the submit button's onClick event is triggered?   Resultant of a polynomial with x^n–1 (mod p) I am implementing the NTRUSign algorithm as described in http://grouper.ieee.org/groups/1363/lattPK/submissions/EESS1v2.pdf , section 2.2.7.1 which involves computing the resultant of a polynomial.   We (me and my team) have a ASP.NET MVC application and we are integrating a page or two that are Web Forms. We are trying to reuse the Master Page from our MVC part of the app in the WebForms part. We have found a way of rendering an MVC partial view in web forms, which works great, until we try and do a postback, which is the reason for using a WebForm. The Error: Validation of viewstate MAC failed. If this application is hosted by a Web Farm or cluster, ensure that configuration specifies the same validationKey and validation algorithm. AutoGenerate cannot be used in a cluster. A Work-around: So far the work-around is to move the header content to a PartialView, then use an AJAX call to call a page with just the Partial View from the WebForms, and then using the PartialView directly on the MVC Views. Also, we are still able to share non-tech-specific parts of the Master Page, i.e. anything that is not MVC specific. Still yet, this is not an ideal solution, a server-side solution is still desired. Also, this solutino has issues when working with controls that have more sophisticated controls, using JavaScript, particularly dynamically generated script as used by 3rd party controls.

• Use a subdirectory as root with htaccess in Apache 1.3

  I'm trying to deploy a site generated with Jekyll and would like to keep the site in its own subfolder on my server to keep everything more organized. Essentially, I'd like to use the contents of /jekyll as the root unless a file similarly named exists in the actual web root. So something like /jekyll/sample-page/ would show as http://www.example.com/sample-page/, while something like /other-folder/ would display as http://www.example.com/other-folder. My test server runs Apache 2.2 and the following .htaccess (adapted from http://gist.github.com/97822) works flawlessly: RewriteEngine On # Map http://www.example.com to /jekyll. RewriteRule ^$ /jekyll/ [L] # Map http://www.example.com/x to /jekyll/x unless there is a x in the web root. How can I use the /jekyll/ directory as the site root without revealing the actual URL structure? Edit: After a ton of research into Apache 1.3, I've found that this problem is essentially a combination of two different issues listed at the Apache 1.3 URL Rewriting Guide. I have a (partially) moved DocumentRoot, which in theory would be taken care of with something like this: RewriteRule ^/$ /e/www/ [R] I also have the infamous "Trailing Slash Problem," which is solved by setting the RewriteBase (as was suggested in one of the responses below): RewriteBase /~quux/ RewriteRule ^foo$ foo/ [R] The problem is combining the two. Moving the document root doesn't (can't?) use RewriteBase—fixing trailing slashes requires(?) it… Hmm…

• node.js / socket.io, cookies only working locally

  I'm trying to use cookie based sessions, however it'll only work on the local machine, not over the network. If I remove the session related stuff, it will however work just great over the network... You'll have to forgive the lack of quality code here, I'm just starting out with node/socket etc etc, and finding any clear guides is tough going, so I'm in n00b territory right now. Basically this is so far hacked together from various snippets with about 10% understanding of what I'm actually doing... • UIScrollView works as expected but scrollRectToVisible: does nothing

  HI. I have used UIScrollView before, and am using it now, and never had a problem. I'm now adding it to an old app, and while it works as expected (I can look at the contents, scroll around with my finger, all the bounds and sizes are setup right so there is no empty space in the content, etc.), I just can't get scrollToRectVisible to work. I have even simplified the call so that it merely moves to the 0,0 position: [scrollView scrollRectToVisible:CGRectMake(0, 0, 10, 10) animated:YES]; or move it to 0,200: [scrollView scrollRectToVisible:CGRectMake(0, 200, 10, 10) animated:YES]; I even made a quick app to test this and I can get scrollRectToVisible to work there as I expect. But in my old app, I can't seem to make it do anything. I can make the scrollView scroll with setContentOffset:, but that's not what I want. This scrollView and its contents are defined in the nib by IB and used with an IBOutlet. The only code I am using in my app to handle the scrollView is [scrollView setContentSize:CGSizeMake(scrollView.contentSize.width, imageView.frame.size.height)]; (I'm only interested in vertical scrolling not horizontal). Has anyone run into a problem like this? I have compared the scrollView attributes in both apps and they are identical. ADDENDUM: My scrollViews frame is: 0.000000 0.000000 480.000000 179.000000 My scrollViews contentSize is: 0.000000 324.000000 It still acts like the rect I want to scroll to is already visible and no scrolling is needed. Not sure if that is what is happening. This is just the darnest thing. Seems like such an easy thing to resolve...   Here is my problem; indexdeneme2.php has two forms Sign up and Login form, and there is validation.js and login.js which are handling the AJAX and JSON response, there are validate.php and login.php which are my scripts for validating and login. When you sign up, it sends the data to validate.php perfectly and validate.php response with JSON perfectly, validate.js must show the error in #error div. validation.js works perfectly if it is working alone. I use same kind of script for login form. Login.php also works perfectly it responses with JSON and login.js shows the errors are appear in #errorlogin div. But this works when login.js works alone. When I try to work login.js and validate.js together, it is not working. validate.php and login.php works perfectly but login.js and validation.js are not working together. They can't handle the responses coming from php scripts. It is not showing the errors in #errorlogin and #error div. They intercept each other I guess. By the way if you can critique my login.php and validate.php I will be really appreciated. • How to bind DataTable to Chart series?

  Hello, How to do bind data from DataTable to Chart series? I get null reference exception. I tried binding with square brackets and it did not worked either. So, how to do the binding? Thanks. P.S: I included DataGrid XAML and CS which works just fine. Converting data to List<KeyValuePair<string,int>> works good but it is kinda slow and is unnessesary trash in code. • Convert UIViews made programmatically to UIScrollViews

  So I have a bunch of UIViews that I made programmatically and placed a bunch of content on (UIButtons, UILabels, UINavigationBars, etc.), and most of these views are going to need to actually be UIScrollViews instead. Now keep in mind I made all these through code not the Interface Builder. What I first tried was to just change each declaration of a UIView to a UIScrollView instead, and that compiled and ran fine, however, they were not scrollable. It's REALLY weird. • Which StackOverflow-style MarkDown (WMD) javascript editor should I use?

  Background I'm working on an application which requires user-entered content, and I've decided to use a StackOverflow-style MarkDown editor. After researching this topic for the last few days, I realize there are numerous forks of the base WMD editor, some with a few basic enhancements and some with serious differences from the StackOverflow one. Since this will be the heart of the application, I'd like to start with the best code base I can. I'd be happy if anyone can recommend which one of the many solutions out there best fits my needs. Below is requirements, plus what I've managed to find already. I'm hoping this question will help me decide which version to go with, and maybe help me discover a port out there that's an even better fit for my needs. The requirements for my project Live Preview Multiple editors on the same page (not know how many in advance, since the user can dynamically add another editing box). Ability to extend with extra buttons (I'd like a button to upload a picture, instead of just adding an img url). Ability to dynamically show/hide the edit box (and only see the preview box). Not an absolute must, but I'd prefer to stick as close to StackOverflow's look and feel, since it's well known. Don't know if this matters, but the backend is written in Django. Editors I've looked at Here are a few of the code bases I've looked at, with thoughts. Obviously, I might be missing another solution out there. The derobins version. From what I can tell, this is the official StackOverflow version. Seems like it doesn't support multiple editors on one page. JQuery.MarkEdit. Looks very good, but is pretty different from the StackOverflow version. MooWMD. Looks like the winner right now, but I'm a little concerned since it looks less active/hackable than MarkEdit. The wmd-new version. Not sure, looks like an old codebase without much use. The SocialSite branch. Seems like it's not for public use.

  I'm forgetting about cross-browser compatibility for the moment, I just want this to work. What I'm doing is trying to modify a script (and you probably don't need to know this) located at typegreek.com The basic script is found here. Basically what it does is when you type in characters, it converts the character your are typing into greek characters and prints it onto the screen. What I'm trying to do is to get it to work on contentEditable div's (It only works for Textareas) My issue is with this one function: The user types a key, it get's converted to a greek key, and goes to a function, it gets sorted through some if's, and where it ends up is where I can add div support. Say I had 30 characters in the div before hand. If I type more than that 30, it adds character 31, but places the cursor back at 30. I can type character 32 at pos.31, then character 33 at pos.32, but if I try to put character 34 in, it adds the character, and sets the cursor back at 32. The issue is that the function for adding the new character screws up if cursorPos is greater than what is defined in the range. Any ideas?

  I'm configuring a new Developing Server that came with Windows 7 64bits. It must have installed Trac with Subversion integration. I install Subversion with VisualSVN 2.1.1, clients with TortoiseSVN 1.6.7 and AnkhSVN 2.1.7 for Visual Studio 2008 SP1 integration. All works fine! my problem begun when going to Trac installation. I install python 2.6 all fine. Trac hasn't a x64 windows installer, so I installed it manually by compiling it with python console (C:\Python26\python.exe C:/TRAC/setup.py install). After that, I can create TRAC projects normally, the Trac core is working fine. And so the problem begins, lets take a look at the Trac INSTALL file: Requirements To install Trac, the following software packages must be installed: Python, version = 2.3. Subversion, version = 1.0. (= 1.1.xrecommended) Subversion SWIG Python bindings (not PySVN).   Hello, anybody care to share some insights on how to use LSP for packet modifying ? I am using the non IFS subtype and I can see how (pseudo?) packets first enter WSPRecv. But how do I modify them ? My inquiry is about one single HTTP response that causes WSPRecv to be called 3 times :((. I need to modify several parts of this response, but since it comes in 3 slices, it is pretty hard to modify it accordingly. And, maybe on other machines or under different conditions (such as high traffic) there would only be one sole WSPRecv call, or maybe 10 calls.   In our application, we collect data on automotive engine performance -- basically source data on engine performance based on the engine type, the vehicle running it and the engine design. Currently, the basis for new row inserts is an engine on-off period; we monitor performance variables based on a change in engine state from active to inactive and vice versa. • Outlook Marking Email as Junk Email

  I know. I sound like a spammer but these emails are completely legitimate email confirmations for people that have signed up for an account on this website we developed. These emails all make it through to various mail providers (gmail, yahoo, aol, hotmail/live) but they always get directed into the Outlook Junk Email folder. I am have tried using Zend Framework mail, PEAR Mail and phpMailer. All of those methods result in the same thing happening. This seemed to start happening after Microsoft released their update to the Outlook Junk Email filter in January of this year. We have reverse DNS on the mail server and it matches the forward DNS, SPF and DKIM are set up and there is nothing "spammy" with the above content. Can anybody see something with the above code that could cause Outlook to mark it as Junk? Thanks!

I understand that the masterpage will add some prefix to the ID, so I tried using the ID from the page when it's run that ends up as ct100_osxinputfrom, and I also tried some other hinds that I found while searching like $("#<%=osxinputfrom.ClientID%"), but it ends up as Undefined in the method that is called from the jQuery ajax method anyway. The third and fourth parameters to the ajay function that is hardcoded as Test3 and Test4 comes fine in the C# backend method. So my question is simply: How can I rewrite the jQuery selector to fetch the correct value from the textbox? (before I used master pages it worked fine by the way) Best regards Daemon

  Hi I have an ASP.NET MVC Page with a button called "Start Live Meeting". When the User clicks on this button, it calls a controller method called "StartLiveMeeting" that returns a string. If the controller returns empty string, then i want the Timer to call the Controller method until it returns the string. I am using jquery.timer.js plugin ( http://plugins.jquery.com/files/jquery.timers-1.2.js.txt ) On the button click, the controller method is being called. But Timer is not initiating. I have specified 5sec to call the controller method. I appreciate your responses.
