    I mount my Samba shares through Nautilus. I know that, behind the scenes, the share is fuse-mounted and Nautilus somehow does the translation between smb:// URLs and the actual location in the file system. Is it possible to retrieve the "true" path in the file system for a GVFS-mounted share, for a directory or a file? How?     Assuming I have infinite vertices to represent the sphere, if I project the sphere from any position/scale in 3D to 2D, will it be a circle? I know it will not be a circle on the screen, because of scaling and different resolutions. But do field of view and aspect ratio effect the results? Edit: Sorry yes, I am talking about perspective projection. Seems the answer is no then, perspective will distort the sphere. Thanks!

    If there is a full screen terminal running when Ubuntu goes to sleep, it becomes stuck. This is not the problem with gnome-terminal as sometimes firefox in full screen also causes this problem. With firefox this doesn't happen every time. But with gnome-terminal this happens everytime and as explained in this answer, I use killall command and kill the application. Is this a bug and what can be done to aviod this?
