    I am very used to javascript and php programing, and I just jumped into programing Objective C. After working with it for a few weeks, the methods still confused me, as to how it is passing params, and how the methods are named. Since I am used to php, I am used to seeing: function myFunc($param1, $param2, $param3, $param4) { return FALSE; } Could someone show me how this would be written in Objective C, so that I can get used to writing methods that have parameters?

    I am tracking AJAX goals in Google Analytics with no problems. But I would like to use Google Website Optimizer to see what buttons or headlines get the most leads in our newsletter subscription form. Since a new subscription only triggers AJAX/Javascript, I cannot add a separate success/thankyou.html page to track in Google Website Analyzer. There is not much to find in Google's documentation about this. Has anyone been able to do this?

I've been able to produce this with CSS3, and it works flawlessly on Firefox and Chrome: However, Internet Explorer 7 and 8 (not supporting CSS3) is a different story: Is there an easy, lightweight JavaScript solution that would allow me to either 1) use IE-specific features to achieve this, or 2) modify the DOM (programmatically) in such a way that adds custom images around the content area to emulate the effect?

    I'm ramping up on Vaadin and I'm getting this javascript alert whenever I try and run the demo apps. GWT module 'com.vaadin.terminal.gwt.DefaultWidgetSet' may need to be recompiled I've tried cleaning the project to no avail.     Currently, FCBKcomplete created new tags after you type something in and press enter. Is there a way to get the plug-in to allow for comma's (which is how tags are commonly separated) to create new tags? I'd hate to have to try to retrain users to user enter as opposed to the more standard comma separator. We're thinking about developing it with PhoneGap/html/javascript as we want to make it available under other mobile platforms. Given that it's only for a small number of users within a particular organisation, would we submit that to AppStore? Is App Store meant for general public applications?   • Facebook Like Button XFBML comment not working

    I am implementing a Like button from Facebook per this document: http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like I am using the XFBML version so that users can add comments when they click on the Like button. I have imported the Facebook JavaScript SDK an am using a valid App ID. The button appears and I am able to "Like" the page, but I am never prompted for comments. Is anybody else running into these issues? Anybody know of a fix?

    How to implement wordwrap on jqGrid which works on IE7, IE8 and FF, while also having column-resize work (grid aligns correctly). Tried to innerwrap content on each td with a div of specific width (based on initial TH width), but colresize will not work on the divs I've inserted. jqGrid calculates the widths of the resized TH and adjacent THs though. Is there a better solution which will avoid all the JavaScript 'hacks'?

Spring.addDecoration(new Spring.ValidateAllDecoration({elementId:'proceed', event:'onclick'})); Server side validation for notNull attribute doesn't work. On save user is created without validation error. Am I missing something over here ??
