  • Rubygems on netbeans driving me crazy!

    I cant understand why Gems fetching failed, it was always working fine, i can't figure out how to solve this, hopefully somebody can help. Its driving me Crazy.   • PDB: exception when in console - full stack trace

    When at the pdb console, entering a statement which causes an exception results in just a single line stack trace, e.g. (Pdb) someFunc() *** TypeError: __init__() takes exactly 2 arguments (1 given) However I'd like to figure out where exactly in someFunc the error originates. i.e. in this case, which class __init__ is attached to. Is there a way to get a full stack trace in Pdb?

  • How to select one NSCell in an NSTableView?

    I have a small NSTableView with a checkbox. Whenever the checkbox is not checked, I want one of the adjacent NSCells to be grayed out and inaccessible. However, I can't figure out how to address only one specific cell. -dataCellForRow of NSTableColumn always changes the template cell for the whole table column. How can I access one single cell?

I want to present this list as a NSTableView with a single column and a book view in each cell.   • Installation of Jetty into Eclipse

    Hi I've had Jetty recommended as a good container for fast and simple development, in my case, Java Server Faces. I wish to use it with my Eclipse IDE (Version: 3.4.1), but quite frankly, can't figure out how. I've tried various outdated plugins, only with large amounts of errors in return, so I'm hoping someone could guide me from downloading the right version to installing it, and being able to press "RUN", and see a simple Hello World in JSP/JSF work. I know how to find how many chars the string has but not how to insert environment.newline at 20 chars.   • Is there an alias for the local machine name in the Windows 7 login screen?

    We have many computers connected to a AD. The computers names is auto generated. When I want to log in using a local account, I have to figure out what the computer's name is, and log in using the following syntax: [COMPUTER_NAME]\local_account Now I'm wondering if there is an alias that I can use instead? So instead of logging in using NB-aw35sdds\local_account, I can use something like localhost\local_account.

  • Access denied when starting sqlexpress from command line

    Windows 7 computer running SQL Server Express 2008 (sp1). When I try to run net start mssql$sqlexpress I receive an error: System error 5 has occurred. Access is denied The SQL service is running under "Network Service" account The service starts fine if I use the services window. Could somebody help me figure out why I am receiving this error?

    I’m using dotnetopenauth 3.2 to implement Openid and can’t figure out how to get Google to pass the email address in the Claims Response. I know that Google doesn’t support simple registration, but I can’t determine what they do support.   • How to Fake a AsyncToken return in ActionScript 3

    Using Parsley, I have a service that I access through a [Command(selector='list')] public function getRssFeed( msg:RssEvent ):AsyncToken { return service.list() as AsyncToken; } when I point to the "Real" RssService, everything works as expected. My problem is when I point to the "Mock" RssService. I can't figure out how to fake a AsyncToken with some dummy data return... does anyone knows how to do this ?
