Please consider this: date value 18/5/2010, 1 pm 40 18/5/2010, 2 pm 20 18/5/2010, 3 pm 60 18/5/2010, 4 pm 30 18/5/2010, 5 pm 60 18/5/2010, 6 pm 25 19/5/2010, 6 pm 300 19/5/2010, 6 pm 450 19/5/2010, 6 pm 375 20/5/2010, 6 pm 250 20/5/2010, 6 pm 310 The query is to get the date and value for each day such that the value obtained for that day is max. If the max value is repeated on that day, the lowest time stamp is selected. The result should be like: 18/5/2010, 3 pm 60 19/5/2010, 6 pm 450 20/5/2010, 6 pm 310 The query should take in a date range like the one given below and find results for that range in the above fashion: where date = to_date('26/03/2010','DD/MM/YYYY') AND date < to_date('27/03/2010','DD/MM/YYYY')

    Being fairly new to C++ I have a question bascially concerning the g++ compiler and especially the inclusion of libraries. Consider the following makefile: CPPFLAGS= -I libraries/boost_1_43_0-bin/include/ -I libraries/jpeg-8b-bin/include/ LDLIBS= libraries/jpeg-8b-bin/lib/libjpeg.a # LDLIBS= -L libraries/jpeg-8b-bin/lib -llibjpeg all: main main: main.o c++ -o main main.o $(LDLIBS) main.o: main.cpp c++ $(CPPFLAGS) -c main.cpp clean: rm -rf *.o main As you can see I declared the LDLIBS variable twice. My code is compiling and working if I use the makefile above. But if I deactivate the first LDLIBS entry and active the second one I get ld: library not found for -llibjpeg. I assume my libjpeg.a is just not called libjpeg but bears some different name. Is there a way to find out the name of a given "libraryfile" libsomething.a or libsomething.dyn?

  • Get a font filename based on Font Name and Style (Bold/Italic)

    This has been driving me crazy all day. I need to get a font filename (eg. Arial.ttf) based off of it's name (Arial in this case). The problem is, I am only supplied with the font name (Arial) and weather it's bold, italic or both. Using those pieces of information, I need to find the font file so I can use it for rendering. Some more examples: Calibri, Bold would resolve to calibrib.ttf Calibri, Italic would resolve to calibrii.ttf Any ideas on how I could achieve this in C++ (Win32)

    I have a hierarchical data structure which I'm displaying in a webpage as a treeview. I want to data to be ordered to first show nodes ordered alphabetically which have no children, then under these nodes ordered alphabetically which have children. Currently I'm ordering all nodes in one group, which means nodes with children appear next to nodes with no children. I'm using a recursive method to build up the treeview, which has this LINQ code at it's heart: var filteredCategory = from c in category orderby c.Name ascending where c.ParentCategoryId == parentCategoryId && c.Active == true select c; So this is the orderby statement I want to enhance.   • php mail function cannot send to name[email protected] ??i

    I'm having trouble when sending emails thorough the mail() function. I have a script that works perfectly fine for an email address like [email protected] but when the first part of the email is something with a dot like name[email protected] it doesn't work and returns this error : Warning: mail() [function.mail ]: SMTP server response: 554 : Recipient address rejected: Relay access denied in confirmed.php on line 119 I am using real email address but have changed it in the above example. Any thoughts - I'm not a php master but surely there is an easy way to send emails to address with a 2 part first section?? Thanks in advance Ali

  • Passing password value through URL

    OK I see a lot of people asking about passing other values, URLS, random stuff through a URL, but don't find anything about sending a password to a password field. Here is my situation: I have a ton of sites I use on a daily basis with my work and oh about 90% require logins. Obviously remembering 80 bajillion logins for each site is dumb, especially when there are more than one user name I use for each site. So to make life easier, I drew up a nifty JSP app that stores all of my logins in a DB table and creates a user interface for the specific page I want to visit. Each page has a button that sends a username, password into the id parameters of the html inputs. Problem: I can get the usernames and other info to show up just dandy, but when I try and send a password to a password field, it seems that nothing gets received by the page I'm trying to hit. Is there some ninja stuff I need to be doing here or is it just not easily possible?     When I show a list of testplanViewModels in my View and the user selects one the SelectedTestplanId is returned to the Controller post action. What should also be returned is the TemplateId which belongs to the SelectedTestplanId. When the AutoMapper definition is run the Testplan.TestplanId is implicitly copied over to the TestplanViewModel.TestplanId. The same could be done by providing a TemplateId on the TestplanViewModel. When the user selects now a "TestplanViewModel" in the View, how can I attach the TemplateId to the controller action to access it there? The DropDownList does not allow 2 dataValueFields!   • Activator.CreateInstance with type name as string and including parameters

    I am working in .Net 3.5, looking at all the various constructors for Activator.CreateInstance. I want to create an instance of a class, calling a particular constructor. I do not have the class type, only its name. I have the following, which works, but actually winds up calling the parameterless constructor first, then the one I want. This is not a terribly big deal, but the parameterless constructor calls a rather busy base constructor, and the constructor I want to call does, too. In other words, given a type, calling CreateInstance with parameters is easy (only the last two lines below), but given only a type name, is there a better way than this?   • Using windows CopyFile function to copy all files with certain name format

I am updating some C code that copys files with a certain name. basically, I have a directory with a bunch of files named like so: AAAAA.1.XYZ AAAAA.2.ZYX AAAAA.3.YZX BBBBB.1.XYZ BBBBB.2.ZYX Now, In the old code, they just used a call to ShellExecute and used xcopy.exe. to get all the files starting with AAAAA, they just gave xcopy the name of the file as AAAAA.* and it knew to copy all of the files starting with AAAAA. now, im trying to get it to copy with out having to use the command line, and I am running into trouble. I was hoping CopyFile would be smart enough to handle AAAAA.* as the file to be copied, but it doesnt at all do what xcopy did. So, any Ideas on how to do this without the external call to xcopy.exe?

  • Magento: Attribute always returns default value in catalog view, works fine in product view

    I've created a new Yes/No attribute for products. I've extended the Product model to do some custom logic and the custom functions are working everywhere. When I initially tried getting the custom attribute value, I ran into some issue. Magento wasn't loading it for me, so calls to $product-getMyAttributeName() did nothing. In the product views, I got it working with this additional function: public function getAttrVal($attr_name) { return $this->getResource()->getAttribute($attr_name)->getFrontend()->getValue($this); } So that worked great when viewing a product on the frontend. It would fetch the assigned value if set, or the default if not. When I view any Category (grid of all products in that category), the same exact code is being executed. But my getAttrVal() function always returns the default value, even if I've explicitly set this value for my product. I can't, for the life of me, figure out why the attribute loads correctly in the Product view but the Category view always grabs the default value, despite running the same exact code. Any thoughts?

    I have a simple but confusing question here. Is it legal to have a different return value type for overridden methods than the abstact ones defined in the base class?? In most places where I display the tags I do so by grouping by name. @group_counts = current_user.groups.count(:group => :name, :order => 'count_all DESC') Is there a way to disregard capitalization. For instance I have two different records returned for Push press and Push Press.
