• Problems using dual resolver

  Hi, I ma using dual resolver and having a problem.   Hi, I have an issue where in I have defined dependancies in ivy.xml on our internal corporate svn. I am able to access this svn site without any proxy task in ant. While my dependencies resides on ibiblio, that’s something outside our corporate, and needs proxy inorder to download something. I am facing problem using ivy here: I have following in build.xml <target name="proxy"> <property name="proxy.host" value="xyz.proxy.net"/> <property name="proxy.port" value="8443"/> <setproxy proxyhost="${proxy.host}" proxyport="${proxy.port}"/> </target> &lt;!-- resolve the dependencies of stratus --&gt; &lt;target name="resolveTestDependency" depends="testResolve, proxy" description="retrieve test dependencies with ivy"&gt; &lt;ivy:settings file="stratus-ivysettings.xml" /> &lt;ivy:retrieve conf="test" pattern="${jars}/[artifact]-[revision].[ext]"/&gt;<!--pattern here specifies where do you want to download lib to?--> </target> <target name=" testResolve "> <ivy:settings file="stratus-ivysettings.xml" /> <ivy:resolve conf="test" file="stratus-ivy.xml"/> </target> Following is the excerpt from stratus-ivysettings.xml <resolvers <!-- here you define your file in private machine not on the repo (e.g. jPricer.jar or edgApi.jar)-- <url name="privateFS" <ivy pattern="http://xyz.svn.com/ivyRepository/[organisation]/ivy/ivy.xml"/ </url . . . <url name="public" m2compatible="true" <artifact pattern="http://www.ibiblio.org/maven2/[organisation]/[module]/[revision]/[artifact]-[revision].[ext]"/ </url . . . So as can be seen here for getting ivy.xml, I don’t need any proxy as its within our own network which cant be accesses when I set proxy. But on the other hand I am using ibiblio as well which is external to our network and works only with proxy. So above build.xml wont work in that case. Can somebody help here. I don’t need proxy while getting ivy.xml (as if I have proxy, ivy wont be able to find ivy file behind proxy from within the network), and I just need it when my resolver goes to public url.

  Hi, I have several files with name abc* and i want to delete all those files. is it possible using ant task. For eg. my directory structure is: c:\ myapp\ abc.xml abc.txt abc-1.2.xml abc-abc.xml abcdef.xml pqr.xml xyz.xml abc\ so from this, i need to delete all abc* files. So if i use ant it should delete following: abc.xml abc.txt abc-1.2.xml abc-abc.xml abcdef.xml it should leave directory with abc* Can somebody help me. Almas

• problem using ant move task

  I have a directory structure like this client/lib a.jar b-4.3.jar c-1.2.jar d-4.3.jar e.jar I need to copy some jars without version and some with version. The only information that i have is version number, and that is stored in a variable. Problem is version number that i have in variable is 4.3.1 and version that jars have is just first two digits from the variable value (i.e. 4.3 in my case). I need all the jars that has starting two digits that my variable has and some of the jars without version. For e.g. from above directory structure i need: b-4.3.jar d-4.3.jar e.jar Can somebody please help?

• how to ignore ivy revision number?

  Guys, I have certain jar files without revision number. But as rev is mandatory attribute for ivy dependency, i am providing the revision attribute. But i have something like (-[revision]) in url resolver. but its taking the module number instead of ignoring the revision attribute. I know it wont ignore the revision attribute as its not null. Following is the output that i get default-cache: no cached resolved revision for perltools#perltools;latest.integration [ivy:retrieve] tried [ivy:retrieve] listing all in [ivy:retrieve] using privateRepo to list all in [ivy:retrieve] ApacheURLLister found URL=[httP://myrepo/ivyRepository/perltools/jars/perltools.jar]. [ivy:retrieve] found 1 resources [ivy:retrieve] found revs: [perltools.jar] [ivy:retrieve] HTTP response status: 404 url=httP://myrepo/ivyRepository/perltools/jars/perltools.jar/perltools-perltools.jar.jar [ivy:retrieve] CLIENT ERROR: Not Found url=httP://myrepo/ivyRepository/perltools/jars/perltools.jar/perltools-perltools.jar.jar Can somebody please explain why its taking module.ext as revision where revision i specified is latest.integration and in myrepo, i dont have revision attribute. its just has [http://myrepo/ivyRepository/perltools/jars//perltools.jar] Can somebody please help me so that i can avoid revision attribute?

• Problems with type and ext attribute of artifact

  Hi, I have following definition in ivy.xml <dependency org="southbeach" name="ego" rev="4.3.1" conf="properties->asterik" > <artifact name="ego" type="conf" ext="conf" conf="properties->asterik"/> </dependency> I have files with either extension conf or properties which i need at runtime, in ivysettings.xml, i have following: <filesystem name="privateFSa"> <artifact pattern="${localRepositoryLocation}/[artifact].[ext]" /> </filesystem> It always tries to look for ego.jar instead of ego.conf. can please somebody shed light on this? am i doing something wrong or ivy just supports tar,zip,gz, jar and not properties or conf files? I did workaround for now in ivysettings.xml <filesystem name="privateFSa"> <artifact pattern="${localRepositoryLocation}/[artifact].conf" /> </filesystem> but this doesnt looks good to hardcode conf there.
