  • INETA Speaking engagement, July 14, Ft. Wayne, IN.

    - by Enrique Lima
    A while back I decided to get back to speaking engagements and such. For the most part I had kept that to some local User Groups and some conferences like TechEd. I decided to sign up for the INETA Speaker program. Well my first gig came through. I will be speaking at the SharePoint Users of Ft. Wayne, Indiana meeting on July 14th. The topic is on Building Solutions for SharePoint using Visual Studio LightSwitch.

  • "lo: Disabled Privacy Extensions" and ipv6 disabling?

    - by Smartkid
    There are lots of "lo: Disabled Privacy Extensions" in var/log/messages . I googled and find it is ipv6 releated, so I tried to disable ipv6. I added the following lines to /etc/sysctl.conf net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1 net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6=1 net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6=1 and blacklist ipv6 to /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.conf after that, I restarted the network by /etc/init.d/networking restart . My question is: The ip addr still shows inet6 address attached to eth0 in forms like inet6 fe80::212:79ff:fecf:edaf/64 scope link Does it means my ipv6 not disabled?

  • Why does Gnumake from parent directory behave differently?

    - by WilliamKF
    I am stumped as to why when I do a gnumake from the parent directory it behaves incorrectly, whereas, if I cd to the subdirectory and do gnumake it works correctly. In the parent makefile, I have a rule like this: .PHONY: zlib-1.2.5 zlib-1.2.5: @ echo Issuing $(MAKE) in $@ ... pushd zlib-1.2.5; make; popd Which gives different result than doing the same from the toplevel pushd zlib-1.2.5; make; popd There is a something from the parent makefile that is making its way into the subdirectory makefile and causing it to behave incorrectly, but I don't know how to find it. The symptom I see is that the subdirectory config generated makefile rule for zlib misses the dependencies and I get this result going straight to the ar without generating the .o(s) first: cd ~/src; make zlib-1.2.5 CPPFLAGS_AUTO = < > Issuing make in zlib-1.2.5 ... pushd zlib-1.2.5; make; popd ~/src/zlib-1.2.5 ~/src make[1]: Entering directory `/disk2/user/src/zlib-1.2.5' ar rc libz.a adler32.o compress.o crc32.o deflate.o gzclose.o gzlib.o gzread.o gzwrite.o infback.o inffast.o inflate.o inftrees.o trees.o uncompr.o zutil.o ar: adler32.o: No such file or directory make[1]: *** [libz.a] Error 1 gcc -shared -Wl,-soname,libz.so.1,--version-script,zlib.map -O3 -fPIC -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -o libz.so.1.2.5 adler32.lo compress.lo crc32.lo deflate.lo gzclose.lo gzlib.lo gzread.lo gzwrite.lo infback.lo inffast.lo inflate.lo inftrees.lo trees.lo uncompr.lo zutil.lo -lc -L. libz.a gcc: adler32.lo: No such file or directory gcc: compress.lo: No such file or directory gcc: crc32.lo: No such file or directory gcc: deflate.lo: No such file or directory [...] make[1]: *** [libz.so.1.2.5] Error 1 make[1]: Target `all' not remade because of errors. make[1]: Leaving directory `/disk2/user/src/zlib-1.2.5' ~/src Versus from the zlib directory where it works correctly: cd ~/src/zlib-1.2.5; make gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -c -o example.o example.c gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -c -o adler32.o adler32.c gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -c -o compress.o compress.c gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -c -o crc32.o crc32.c [...] gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -c -o zutil.o zutil.c ar rc libz.a adler32.o compress.o crc32.o deflate.o gzclose.o gzlib.o gzread.o gzwrite.o infback.o inffast.o inflate.o inftrees.o trees.o uncompr.o zutil.o (ranlib libz.a || true) >/dev/null 2>&1 gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -o example example.o -L. libz.a gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -c -o minigzip.o minigzip.c gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -o minigzip minigzip.o -L. libz.a mkdir objs 2>/dev/null || test -d objs gcc -O3 -fPIC -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -DPIC -c -o objs/adler32.o adler32.c mv objs/adler32.o adler32.lo mkdir objs 2>/dev/null || test -d objs gcc -O3 -fPIC -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -DPIC -c -o objs/compress.o compress.c mv objs/compress.o compress.lo [...] mkdir objs 2>/dev/null || test -d objs gcc -O3 -fPIC -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -DPIC -c -o objs/zutil.o zutil.c mv objs/zutil.o zutil.lo gcc -shared -Wl,-soname,libz.so.1,--version-script,zlib.map -O3 -fPIC -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -o libz.so.1.2.5 adler32.lo compress.lo crc32.lo deflate.lo gzclose.lo gzlib.lo gzread.lo gzwrite.lo infback.lo inffast.lo inflate.lo inftrees.lo trees.lo uncompr.lo zutil.lo -lc -L. libz.a rm -f libz.so libz.so.1 ln -s libz.so.1.2.5 libz.so ln -s libz.so.1.2.5 libz.so.1 rmdir objs gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -o examplesh example.o -L. libz.so.1.2.5 gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -o minigzipsh minigzip.o -L. libz.so.1.2.5 gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -o example64 example64.o -L. libz.a gcc -O3 -D_LARGEFILE64_SOURCE=1 -o minigzip64 minigzip64.o -L. libz.a

  • Why it may be good to be confused: Mary Lo Verde’s Motivational Discussion at Oracle

    - by user769227
    Why it may be good to be confused: Mary Lo Verde’s Motivational Discussion at Oracle by Olivia O'Connell Last week, we were treated to a call with Mary LoVerde, a renowned Life-Balance and Motivational Speaker. This was one of many events organized by Oracle Women’s Leadership (OWL). Mary made some major changes to her life when she decided to free herself of material positions and take each day as it came. Her life balance strategies have led her from working with NASA to appearing on Oprah. Mary’s MO is “cold turkey is better than dead duck!”, in other words, knowing when to quit. It is a surprising concept that flies in the face of the “winners don’t quit” notion and focuses on how we limit our capabilities and satisfaction levels by doing something that we don’t feel passionately about. Her arguments about quitting were based on the conception that ‘“it” is in the way of you getting what you really want’ and that ‘quitting makes things easier in the long run’. Of course, it is often difficult to quit, and though we know that things would be better if we did quit certain negative things in our lives, we are often ashamed to do so. A second topic centred on the perception of Confusion Endurance. Confusion Endurance is based around the idea that it is often good to not know exactly what you are doing and that it is okay to admit you don’t know something when others ask you; essentially, that humility can be a good thing. This concept was supposed to have to Leonardo Da Vinci, because he apparently found liberation in not knowing. Mary says, this allows us to “thrive in the tension of not knowing to unleash our creative potential” An anecdote about an interviewee at NASA was used to portray how admitting you don’t know can be a positive thing. When NASA asked the candidate a question with no obvious answer and he replied “I don’t know”, the candidate thought he had failed the interview; actually, the interviewers were impressed with his ability to admit he did not know. If the interviewee had guessed the answer in a real-life situation, it could have cost the lives of fellow astronauts. The highlight of the webinar for me? Mary told how she had a conversation with Capt. Chesley B. "Sully" Sullenberger who recalled the US Airways Flight 1549 / Miracle on the Hudson incident. After making its descent and finally coming to rest in the Hudson after falling 3,060 feet in 90 seconds, Sully and his co-pilot both turned to each other and said “well...that wasn’t as bad as we thought”. Confusion Endurance at its finest! Her discussion certainly gave food for thought, although personally, I was inclined to take some of it with a pinch of salt. Mary Lo Verde is the author of The Invitation, and you can visit her website and view her other publications at www.maryloverde.com. • Blocking ports on the public IP assigned to lo interface in GNU/Linux

    - by nixnotwin
    I have setup my Ubuntu server as a router and webserver by following the answer given here. My ISP facing interface eth0 has a private 172.16.x.x/30 ip and my lo interface has a public IP as mentioned in the answer to the question linked above. The setup is working well. The only snag I have experienced is that I could not find a way to block the ports exposed by the public IP on the lo interface. I tried doing iptables -A INPUT -i eth0 -j DROP, and my server lost connectivity to the public network (internet). I could not ping any public ips. What I want is a way to block ports that are exposed by the public ip on the lo interface. And also I require iptables rules that can expose ports like 80 or openvpn port to the public network.

  • What is hi-lo-hi?

    - by HollerTrain
    I have a project in C but have no clue what 'hi-lo-hi' is: The function is to count how many occurrences of hi – lo – hi in an array. For example, given the target array of 0 7 4 3 5 2 1 6, there are two occurrences. So the function would return the value of 2. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

  • How mod_cache working with "must-revalidate" and "max-age"?

    - by Dmitriy Sosunov
    Quick question before I will explain my flow: ?an mod_cache perform revalidate with if-none-match only if max-age is expired in case if it configured in reverse proxy mode? My goal is to reduce a number of revalidation requests to our the origin server. For instance: The first request goes to the origin server and then mod_cache save a response in to the cache according to header cache-control: max-age. And only when max-age is expired then mod_cache will revalidate with if-none-match. Currently, mod_cache revalidate each request, regardless that max-age is defined or not. My configuration of Apache 2.4.3 (Windows), on linux I see the same behavior that I will show below. ServerName proxy.lo ProxyRequests Off ProxyPreserveHost Off Header set Vary "Accept, Content-Type, Content-Encoding, Accept-Language" RequestHeader set X-Forwarded-Proto "http" # modify header for user agent's Header set Cache-Control "private, no-cache, no-store, no-transform" CacheQuickHandler off CacheDefaultExpire 300 # the origin server do not provide last-modified CacheIgnoreNoLastMod On CacheIgnoreCacheControl On # the origin server define cache-control: private, no-store only for user agents # Therefore, I would like ignore those headers on the proxy server. CacheStorePrivate On CacheStoreNoStore On CacheEnable disk / CacheRoot "C:/Apache.Cache" CacheDirLevels 5 CacheDirLength 4 CacheMinExpire 15 CacheDetailHeader on CacheHeader on KeepAlive Off ProxyPass / http://origin.lo/ ProxyPassReverse / http://origin.lo/ Also, I have turned on debug log level to see how mod_cache handles a content for caching: I provided this to show that mod_proxy always decides that a content isn't fresh. Why?I provided this to show that mod_proxy always decide that a content isn't fresh. Why? max-age was provided (see below). • When querying the Win32_NTLogEvent Class from WMI with WQL is the TimeGenerated property based on Lo

    - by jpmcclung
    I am writing a C# windows service that is doing some churning through the eventlog on a few domain controllers. Some of them are Windows Server 2003 and some are Windows Server 2008. Upon the service stopping I am attempting to resume where I left off in the logs. In order to do this instead of SELECT * FROM Win32_NTLogEvent WHERE --criteria for events I am looking for I am doing SELECT * FROM Win32_NTLogEvent WHERE TimeGenerated = --some date AND --criteria for events I am looking for At one point I was convinced that the TimeGenerated field was in the local time of the server but now it seems that the Windows 2008 Servers are using GMT to record that time. Can anyone shed some light on if this is a real different between the way the two operating systems function or is this a configuration problem?

    - by Marc D
    I've done lots of research on how to disable IPv6 on RedHat Linux and I have it almost completely disabled. However the loopback interface is still getting an inet6 loopback address (::1/128). I can't find where IPV6 is still enabled for loopback. To disable IPV6 I added the following settings to /etc/sysctl.conf: net.ipv6.conf.default.disable_ipv6=1 net.ipv6.conf.all.disable_ipv6=1 And also added the following line to /etc/sysconfig/network: NETWORKING_IPV6=no After rebooting, the inet6 address is gone from my physical interface (eth0), but is still there for lo: # ip addr show 1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 16436 qdisc noqueue link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00 inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo inet6 ::1/128 scope host valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever 2: eth0: <BROADCAST,MULTICAST,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 1500 qdisc pfifo_fast qlen 1000 link/ether 00:50:56:xx:xx:xx brd ff:ff:ff:ff:ff:ff inet 10.x.x.x/21 brd 10.x.x.x scope global eth0 If I manually remove the IPV6 address from loopback and then bounce the interface, it comes back: # ip addr del ::1/128 dev lo # ip addr show lo 1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 16436 qdisc noqueue link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00 inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo # ip link set lo down # ip link set lo up # ip addr show lo 1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 16436 qdisc noqueue link/loopback 00:00:00:00:00:00 brd 00:00:00:00:00:00 inet 127.0.0.1/8 scope host lo inet6 ::1/128 scope host valid_lft forever preferred_lft forever I believe IPV6 should be disabled at the kernel level as confirmed by sysctl: # sysctl net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 net.ipv6.conf.lo.disable_ipv6 = 1 Any ideas on what else would cause the loopback interface to get an IPV6 address?

  • How to migrate primary key generation from "increment" to "hi-lo"?

    - by Bevan
    I'm working with a moderate sized SQL Server 2008 database (around 120 tables, backups are around 4GB compressed) where all the table primary keys are declared as simple int columns. At present, primary key values are generated by NHibernate with the increment identity generator, which has worked well thus far, but precludes moving to a multiprocessing environment. Load on the system is growing, so I'm evaluating the work required to allow the use of multiple servers accessing a common database backend. Transitioning to the hi-lo generator seems to be the best way forward, but I can't find a lot of detail about how such a migration would work. Will NHibernate automatically create rows in the hi-lo table for me, or do I need to script these manually? If NHibernate does insert rows automatically, does it properly take account of existing key values? If NHibernate does take care of thing automatically, that's great. If not, are there any tools to help? Update NHibernate's increment identifier generator works entirely in-memory. It's seeded by selecting the maximum value of used identifiers from the table, but from that point on allocates new values by a simple increment, without reference back to the underlying database table. If any other process adds rows to the table, you end up with primary key collisions. You can run multiple threads within the one process just fine, but you can't run multiple processes. For comparison, the NHibernate identity generator works by configuring the database tables with identity columns, putting control over primary key generation in the hands of the database. This works well, but compromises the unit of work pattern. The hi-lo algorithm sits inbetween these - generation of primary keys is coordinated through the database, allowing for multiprocessing, but actual allocation can occur entirely in memory, avoiding problems with the unit of work pattern.

  • overriding ctype<wchar_t>

    - by Potatoswatter
    I'm writing a lambda calculus interpreter for fun and practice. I got iostreams to properly tokenize identifiers by adding a ctype facet which defines punctuation as whitespace: struct token_ctype : ctype<char> { mask t[ table_size ]; token_ctype() : ctype<char>( t ) { for ( size_t tx = 0; tx < table_size; ++ tx ) { t[tx] = isalnum( tx )? alnum : space; } } }; (classic_table() would probably be cleaner but that doesn't work on OS X!) And then swap the facet in when I hit an identifier: locale token_loc( in.getloc(), new token_ctype ); … locale const &oldloc = in.imbue( token_loc ); in.unget() >> token; in.imbue( oldloc ); There seems to be surprisingly little lambda calculus code on the Web. Most of what I've found so far is full of unicode ? characters. So I thought to try adding Unicode support. But ctype<wchar_t> works completely differently from ctype<char>. There is no master table; there are four methods do_is x2, do_scan_is, and do_scan_not. So I did this: struct token_ctype : ctype< wchar_t > { typedef ctype<wchar_t> base; bool do_is( mask m, char_type c ) const { return base::do_is(m,c) || (m&space) && ( base::do_is(punct,c) || c == L'?' ); } const char_type* do_is (const char_type* lo, const char_type* hi, mask* vec) const { base::do_is(lo,hi,vec); for ( mask *vp = vec; lo != hi; ++ vp, ++ lo ) { if ( *vp & punct || *lo == L'?' ) *vp |= space; } return hi; } const char_type *do_scan_is (mask m, const char_type* lo, const char_type* hi) const { if ( m & space ) m |= punct; hi = do_scan_is(m,lo,hi); if ( m & space ) hi = find( lo, hi, L'?' ); return hi; } const char_type *do_scan_not (mask m, const char_type* lo, const char_type* hi) const { if ( m & space ) { m |= punct; while ( * ( lo = base::do_scan_not(m,lo,hi) ) == L'?' && lo != hi ) ++ lo; return lo; } return base::do_scan_not(m,lo,hi); } }; (Apologies for the flat formatting; the preview converted the tabs differently.) The code is WAY less elegant. I does better express the notion that only punctuation is additional whitespace, but that would've been fine in the original had I had classic_table. Is there a simpler way to do this? Do I really need all those overloads? (Testing showed do_scan_not is extraneous here, but I'm thinking more broadly.) Am I abusing facets in the first place? Is the above even correct? Would it be better style to implement less logic?

  • Cannot connect to FTP sites anymore

    - by Wayne M
    I have the FTP service running on Server 2003, and I am hosting websites through Apache. I have users configured to point to certain directories on the server. I am using FileZilla to remote FTP, but it never seems to connect to the directory. The command window says: Command: USER wayne Response: 331 Password required for wayne Command: PASS: ***** Response: 230 User wayne logged in Status: Connected Status: Retrieving directory isting... Command: PWD Response: 257 "/wayne" is current directory Command: TYPE I Response: 200 Type set to I. Command: PASV And that's it. It doesn't display any directories at all, and the pane says "Not connected to any server". Sometimes it will display the folder, but nothing happens when I click on it to expand it. It was working fine, and I have another FTP server set up the same way that does work. How can I fix this? EDIT: I've tried changing it to Active FTP, and it says: Command: LIST Command: 150 Opening BINARY mode data connection for /bin/ls Response: 425 Can't open data connection. Error: Failed to retrieve directory listing. I also noticed that I'm not able to browse the site in IIS's management console anymore, it just shows a blank screen when I click on one of the names and says There are no items to show in this view, although the name has permissions to view the folder and everything. Could it be because I have the Web Publishing service disabled (as I'm not using IIS to host websites)? That shouldn't cause anything should it?

  • I flashed my DS4700 with a 7 series firmware, now my DS4300 cannot read the disks I moved to that lo

    - by Daniel Hoeving
    In preparation for adding a number of 1Tb SATA disks to our DS4700 I flashed the controller firmware from a 6 series (which only supports up to 2Tb logical drives) to a 7 series (which supports larger than 2Tb logical drives). Attached to this DS4700 was a EXP710 expansion drawer that we had planned to migrate out to our co-location to allieviate the storage issues we were having there. Unfortunately these two projects were planned in isolation to one another so I was at the time unaware of the issue that this would cause. Prior to migrating the drawer I was reading the "IBM TotalStorage DS4000 EXP700 and EXP710 Storage Expansion EnclosuresInstallation, User’s, and Maintenance Guide" and discovered this: Controller firmware 6.xx or earlier has a different metadata (DACstore) data structure than controller firmware 7.xx.xx.xx. Metadata consists of the array and logical drive configuration data. These two metadata data structures are not interchangeable. When powered up and in Optimal state, the storage subsystem with controller firmware level 7.xx.xx.xx can convert the metadata from the drives configured in storage subsystems with controller firmware level 6.xx or earlier to controller firmware level 7.xx.xx.xx metadata data structure. However, the storage subsystem with controller firmware level 6.xx or earlier cannot read the metadata from the drives configured in storage subsystems with controller firmware level 7.xx.xx.xx or later. I had assumed that if I deleted the logical drives and array information on the EXP710 prior to migrating it to the DS4300 (6.60.22 firmware) this would satisfy the above, unfortunately I was wrong. So my question is a) Is it possible to restore the DAC information to its factory settings, b) What tool(s) would I use to accomplish this, or c) is this a lost cause? Daniel.

  • What privilege level is required on a Windows client workstation on an ActiveDomain to break file lo

    - by Mike Burton
    I'm not sure if I should be asking this here or on StackOverflow, but here goes: I'm part of a team maintaining a document management application, and I'm trying to figure out Windows file locking permissions. We use a utility somebody downloaded years ago called psunlock to remotely close all locks on a file. We recently discovered that this does not work across different domains on our VPN. A little bit of digging lead me to the samba manual's discussion of file locking. I still don't really "get it", though. Does anyone have any insight to share into how the process of locking and breaking locks on files works in a network context? My thinking is that privileges are required both on the file appliance and on the client workstations which hold locks. Is that accurate? Can anyone give a more specific version? Ideally I'm looking for something along the lines of A user must have privilege level X in order to break locks held from a client workstation. In practice I'd be happy with a hotlink to a good white paper on the subject.

Please note that the route for which i get failure is obtained by RA and has very less expiry ( e Flag in UDAe). @vm:~$ ip -6 route 2001:4860:4001:800::1002 via fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 proto static metric 1024 2001:4860:4001:800::1003 via fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 proto static metric 1024 2001:4860:4001:800::1005 via fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 proto static metric 1024 2001:4860:4001:803::100e via fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 proto static metric 1024 fd00:ffff:ffff:fff1::/64 dev eth1 proto kernel metric 256 expires 2592300sec fe80::/64 dev eth1 proto kernel metric 256 default via fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 proto static metric 1 default via fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 proto kernel metric 1024 expires 1776sec @vm:~$ @vm:~$ @vm:~$ @vm:~$ sudo route -6 delete default gw fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 @vm:~$ ip -6 route 2001:4860:4001:800::1002 via fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 proto static metric 1024 2001:4860:4001:800::1003 via fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 proto static metric 1024 2001:4860:4001:800::1005 via fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 proto static metric 1024 2001:4860:4001:803::100e via fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 proto static metric 1024 fd00:ffff:ffff:fff1::/64 dev eth1 proto kernel metric 256 expires 2592279sec fe80::/64 dev eth1 proto kernel metric 256 default via fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 proto kernel metric 1024 expires 1755sec @vm:~$ @vm:~$ @vm:~$ sudo route -6 delete ::/0 gw fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 dev eth1 SIOCDELRT: No such process @vm:~$ @vm:~$ @vm:~$ route -n6 Kernel IPv6 routing table Destination Next Hop Flag Met Ref Use If 2001:4860:4001:800::1002/128 fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 UG 1024 0 0 eth1 2001:4860:4001:800::1003/128 fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 UG 1024 0 0 eth1 2001:4860:4001:800::1005/128 fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 UG 1024 0 0 eth1 2001:4860:4001:803::100e/128 fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 UG 1024 0 0 eth1 fd00:ffff:ffff:fff1::/64 :: UAe 256 0 0 eth1 fe80::/64 :: U 256 0 0 eth1 ::/0 fe80::20c:29ff:fe87:f9e7 UGDAe 1024 0 0 eth1 ::/0 :: !n -1 1 349 lo ::1/128 :: Un 0 1 3 lo fd00:ffff:ffff:fff1:a00:27ff:fe7f:7245/128 :: Un 0 1 0 lo fd00:ffff:ffff:fff1:fce8:ce07:b9ea:389f/128 :: Un 0 1 0 lo fe80::a00:27ff:fe7f:7245/128 :: Un 0 1 0 lo ff00::/8 :: U 256 0 0 eth1 ::/0 :: !n -1 1 349 lo @vm:~$ UPDATE: Another question is whats the use of link local address as the default route?
