  • Datetime problem in VB 2005

    - by haythamhamdy
    I am using VB2005 and SQL SERVER 2000. PVAR_SQL_STR = "INSERT INTO GLR_US_PERIOD (ORG5_CODE,PERIOD_YEAR,PERIOD_CODE,PERIOD_NO,FROM_DATE,TO_DATE,INSERT_USER,INSERT_DATE) VALUES " _ & "('" & PVAR_COMPANY_CODE & "' ,'" & TextBox1.Text & "','" & Serial1.Text & "'," & TextBox2.Text & ", '" + DateTimePicker1.Value.ToString("D") + "' ,'" + DateTimePicker2.Value.ToString("D") + "','" & PVAR_USER_CODE & "','" + Now.ToString("F") + "')" Syntax error converting datetime from character string because of this part only: Now.ToString("F") Why, I do not know but when I change into Now.ToString("D") it works well but it saves the date only. I want to insert date and time.

  • Access Violation Using memcpy or Assignment to an Array in a Struct

    - by Synetech inc.
    Hi, I wrote a program last night that worked just fine but when I refactored it today to make it more extensible, I ended up with a problem. The original version had a hard-coded array of bytes. After some processing, some bytes were written into the array and then some more processing was done. To avoid hard-coding the pattern, I put the array in a structure so that I could add some related data and create an array of them. However now, I cannot write to the array in the structure. Here’s a pseudo-code example: main() { char pattern[]="\x32\x33\x12\x13\xba\xbb"; PrintData(pattern); pattern[2]='\x65'; PrintData(pattern); } That one works but this one does not: struct ENTRY { char* pattern; int somenum; }; main() { ENTRY Entries[] = { {"\x32\x33\x12\x13\xba\xbb\x9a\xbc", 44} , {"\x12\x34\x56\x78", 555} }; PrintData(Entries[0].pattern); Entries[0].pattern[2]='\x65'; //0xC0000005 exception!!! :( PrintData(Entries[0].pattern); } The second version causes an access violation exception on the assignment. I’m sure it’s because the second version allocates memory differently, but I’m starting to get a headache trying to figure out what’s what or how to get fix this. (I’m currently working around it by dynamically allocating a buffer of the same size as the pattern array, copying the pattern to the new buffer, making the changes to the buffer, using the buffer in the place of the pattern array, and then trying to remember to free the—temporary—buffer.) (Specifically, the original version cast the pattern array—+offset—to a DWORD* and assigned a DWORD constant to it to overwrite the four target bytes. The new version cannot do that since the length of the source is unknown—may not be four bytes—so it uses memcpy instead. I’ve checked and re-checked and have made sure that the pointers to memcpy are correct, but I still get an access violation. I use memcpy instead of str(n)cpy because I am using plain chars (as an array of bytes), not Unicode chars and ignoring the null-terminator. Using an assignment as above causes the same problem.) Any ideas? Thanks a lot.

  • java if else statement

    - by user554320
    I am a new student who is trying to use java if else statements at the moment. I have attched my class and i need to say if this code get 0 errors for all 4 errors(error11, error12, error13 and error14), need to display the text "Answer". This code was working without the if else statements and there are 2 errors in those 2 lines. Please explain me how to do it? public static void deltaR() { int x; int x11, x12, x13, x14; int x21, x22, x23, x24; //inputs double w10, w11, w12;//weights for first neuron int d11, d12, d13, d14;//desired output for first neuron double net11, net12, net13, net14;//sum of weights times inputs int y11, y12, y13, y14;//outputs int error11, error12, error13, error14;//error //double w20, w21, w22;//weights for second neuron //int d21, d22, d23, d24;//desired output for second neuron //double net21, net22, net23, net24;//sum of weights times input //int y21, y22, y23, y24;//outputs //int error21, error22, error23, error24;//error if (error11 = 0, error12 = 0, error13 = 0, error14 = 0) { System.out.println("Answer"); } else if (error11 != 0, error12 != 0, error13 != 0, error14 != 0) { double coe=0.5;//learning coefficient x=1; x11=0; x12=0; x13=1; x14=1; x21=0; x22=1; x23=0; x24=1; d11= 0; d12= 1; d13= 0; d14= 1; w10=0.5; w11=-1; w12=1.5; net11=(x*w10 + x11*w11 + x21*w12); net12=(x*w10 + x12*w11 + x22*w12); net13=(x*w10 + x13*w11 + x23*w12); net14=(x*w10 + x14*w11 + x24*w12); if (net11>=0) y11=1; else y11=0; if (net12>=0) y12=1; else y12=0; if (net13>=0) y13=1; else y13=0; if (net14>=0) y14=1; else y14=0; error11=(d11-y11); error12=(d12-y12); error13=(d13-y13); error14=(d14-y14); System.out.println("net value 1: "+net11); System.out.println("net value 2: "+net12); System.out.println("net value 3: "+net13); System.out.println("net value 4: "+net14); System.out.println("output 1: "+y11); System.out.println("output 2: "+y12); System.out.println("output 3: "+y13); System.out.println("output 4: "+y14); System.out.println("error1: "+error11); System.out.println("error2: "+error12); System.out.println("error3: "+error13); System.out.println("error4: "+error14); } } }

  • BizTalk–Mapping repeating EDI segments using a Table Looping functoid

    - by Bill Osuch
    BizTalk’s HIPAA X12 schemas have several repeating date/time segments in them, where the XML winds up looking something like this: <DTM_StatementDate> <DTM01_DateTimeQualifier>232</DTM01_DateTimeQualifier> <DTM02_ClaimDate>20120301</DTM02_ClaimDate> </DTM_StatementDate> <DTM_StatementDate> <DTM01_DateTimeQualifier>233</DTM01_DateTimeQualifier> <DTM02_ClaimDate>20120302</DTM02_ClaimDate> </DTM_StatementDate> The corresponding EDI segments would look like this: DTM*232*20120301~ DTM*233*20120302~ The DateTimeQualifier element indicates whether it’s the start date or end date – 232 for start, 233 for end. So in this example (an X12 835) we’re saying the statement starts on 3/1/2012 and ends on 3/2/2012. When you’re mapping from some other data format, many times your start and end dates will be within the same node, like this: <StatementDates> <Begin>20120301</Begin> <End>20120302</End> </StatementDates> So how do you map from that and create two repeating segments in your destination map? You could connect both the <Begin> and <End> nodes to a looping functoid, and connect its output to <DTM_StatementDate>, then connect both <Begin> and <End> to <DTM_StatementDate> … this would give you two repeating segments, each with the correct date, but how to add the correct qualifier? The answer is the Table Looping Functoid! To test this, let’s create a simplified schema that just contains the date fields we’re mapping. First, create your input schema: And your output schema: Now create a map that uses these two schemas, and drag a Table Looping functoid onto it. The first input parameter configures the scope (or how many times the records will loop), so drag a link from the StatementDates node over to the functoid. Yes, StatementDates only appears once, so this would make it seem like it would only loop once, but you’ll see in just a minute. The second parameter in the functoid is the number of columns in the output table. We want to fill two fields, so just set this to 2. Now drag the Begin and End nodes over to the functoid. Finally, we want to add the constant values for DateTimeQualifier, so add a value of 232 and another of 233. When all your inputs are configured, it should look like this: Now we’ll configure the output table. Click on the Table Looping Grid, and configure it to look like this: Microsoft’s description of this functoid says “The Table Looping functoid repeats with the looping record it is connected to. Within each iteration, it loops once per row in the table looping grid, producing multiple output loops.” So here we will loop (# of <StatementDates> nodes) * (Rows in the table), or 2 times. Drag two Table Extractor functoids onto the map; these are what are going to pull the data we want out of the table. The first input to each of these will be the output of the TableLooping functoid, and the second input will be the row number to pull from. So the functoid connected to <DTM01_DateTimeQualifier> will look like this: Connect these two functoids to the two nodes we want to populate, and connect another output from the Table Looping functoid to the <DTM_StatementDate> record. You should have a map that looks something like this: Create some sample xml, use it as the TestMap Input Instance, and you should get a result like the XML at the top of this post. - by Tomek eM
    Helou it's my problem, I have 2 array which have double values: (this is function which get back values(latitude) from richTextBox) private Tuple<double>[] szerokosc(string[] lines) { return Array.ConvertAll(lines, line => { string[] elems = line.Split(','); double we = 0.01 * double.Parse(elems[3], EnglishCulture); int stopnie = (int)we; double minuty = ((we - stopnie) * 100) / 60; double szerokosc_dziesietna = stopnie + minuty; return new Tuple<double>(Math.Round(szerokosc_dziesietna, (int)numericUpDown2.Value)); }); ; } (this part of code call function) var data1 = szerokosc(szerdlugeo_diag_gps.Lines); var data2 = szerokosc(szerdlugeo_diag_gpsglonass.Lines); What should I do, to get something like this: for example: var data3 = data1 - data2; My values in this data looks like (f.e.) data1 = (x11, x12, ... x1(n) ): 53.11818160073043, 53.11816348903661, 53.11814874695463, ... data2 = (x21, x22, ... x(2n) ): 53.11814200771546, 53.118131477652156, 53.11812263239697, 53.11811884157276, 53.11811631435644, .... I would like back data3 = (x31=x11-x21, x32=x12=x22, ... x(3n)=x(1n)-x(2n) ) It would be good if it included the following condition: if data1 = ( 1, 5, 6, 8) data2 = (1.5, 3.3) data3 = (-0.5, 1.7) not data3 = (-0.5, 1.7, 6, 8) Please help.

  • CRC for PNG file format

    - by darkie15
    Hi All, I need to read a PNG file and interpret all the information stored in it and print it in human readable format. While working on PNG, i understood that it uses CRC-32 for generating checksum for each chunk. But I could not understand the following information mentioned on the PNG file specification site: The polynomial used by PNG is: x32 + x26 + x23 + x22 + x16 + x12 + x11 + x10 + x8 + x7 + x5 + x4 + x2 + x + 1 Here is the link for reference: http://www.w3.org/TR/PNG/ Can anyone please help me in understanding this? • SSIS parsing of an irregular flat file?

  • Regex: replace inner string

    - by AllenG
    I'm working with X12 EDI Files (Specifialy 835s for those of you in Health Care), and I have a particular vendor who's using a non-HIPAA compliant version (3090, I think). The problem is that in a particular segment (PLB- again, for those who care) they're sending a code which is no longer supported by the HIPAA Standard. I need to locate the specific code, and update it with a corrected code. I think a Regex would be best for this, but I'm still very new to Regex, and I'm not sure where to begin. My current methodology is to turn the file into an array of strings, find the array that starts with "PLB", break that into an array of strings, find the code, and change it. As you can guess, that's very verbose code for something which should be (I'd think) fairly simple. Here's a sample of what I'm looking for: ~PLB|1902841224|20100228|49KC15X078001104|.08~ And here's what I want to change it to: ~PLB|1902841224|20100228|CSKC15X078001104|.08~ Any suggestions?

    - by kriss
    I have a hickup in using printf . I am on ubuntu 10.04. Basically i have a C program asking for some input and then prints it back. It is OK for printing something after inputing. I tried to insert some Hex Address to Stack by following format:- printf "hello world!\x12\x23\x34" | ./input1 But i don't know what is the problem. If i give only string beyond 12 bytes it overwrites BUT If I give hex address(through printf), it doesn't overwrite on return address. Instead it stores some other thing. Could anyone help??? I can't proceed further becoz of this. Thanks in advance

  • HT Link Sync Error after Ubuntu 10.04 LTS Installation

    - by marklab
    Update 1 I just assembled an exact replica of this server, and successfully installed Ubuntu 10.04 LTS in a RAID10 configuration. The success was confirmed by a login to the initial account. There must be a hardware component that is faulty. Since the error mentions HT, which I believe to be Hyper Threading, I will start with the CPUs. Please indicate if this error is more strongly associated with any other piece of hardware. Or make a recommendation of another approach that would be good for this issue. Issue I was attempting to install Ubuntu 10.04 LTS on this system with the board RAID10 configured. However, the installation failed at the partitioning stage by rebooting the system. Upon reboot, there is an error report after POST listing the following: Node0: NB WatchDog Timer Error Node1: HT Link Sync Error Node2: HT Link Sync Error ... Node7: HT Link Sync Error Press F1 to continue/resume. After pressing F1 the system will boot from the Ubuntu 10.04 LTS installation disc. However, it will fail at the same stage, and go through the same process from there. Hardware CPU: AMD OPTERON X12 6172 G34 2.1G 18MB Motherboard: Supermicro H8QG6-F HDD: WD Caviar Green 2TB 5.4K RPM Troubleshooting I disabled RAID10 on the system, and installed the Ubuntu on a single drive. It installed successfully. I then went back to a RAID10 setup and attempted to install on the system again, and was able to make it through the partitioning stage. However, upon reboot, the system reported: Error: file not found, and then booted me into the Grub Rescue console. I feel I have aggravated the problem at this point because when I attempted to install from the boot disc again, the system reboots upon hitting enter to even start the installation process. It does the same thing when trying to boot from an Ubuntu 11 disc. I have not been able to find any information on this HT Link Sync Error, which I feel may have started the problems I am experiencing now with the installation of the OS. I am also aware that Ubuntu is said not to be supported by the motherboard according to Supermicro's site. However, since I was able to install it successfully on a single drive, I do not believe it is incompatible. I would like to know a reason for why it's failing to install on/off.

  • Are there compelling reasons not to use Groovy?

    - by Leonard H Martin
    I'm developing a LoB application in Java after a long absence from the platform (having spent the last 8 years or so entrenched in Fortran, C, a smidgin of C++ and latterly .Net). Java, the language, is not much changed from how I remember it. I like it's strengths and I can work around its weaknesses - the platform has grown and deciding upon the myriad of different frameworks which appear to do much the same thing as one another is a different story; but that can wait for another day - all-in-all I'm comfortable with Java. However, over the last couple of weeks I've become enamoured with Groovy, and purely from a selfish point of view: but not just because it makes development against the JVM a more succinct and entertaining (and, well, "groovy") proposition than Java (the language). What strikes me most about Groovy is its inherent maintainability. We all (I hope!) strive to write well documented, easy to understand code. However, sometimes the languages we use themselves defeat us. An example: in 2001 I wrote a library in C to translate EDIFACT EDI messages into ANSI X12 messages. This is not a particularly complicated process, if slightly involved, and I thought at the time I had documented the code properly - and I probably had - but some six years later when I revisited the project (and after becoming acclimatised to C#) I found myself lost in so much C boilerplate (mallocs, pointers, etc. etc.) that it took three days of thoughtful analysis before I finally understood what I'd been doing six years previously. This evening I've written about 2000 lines of Java (it is the day of rest, after all!). I've documented as best as I know how, but, but, of those 2000 lines of Java a significant proportion is Java boiler plate. This is where I see Groovy and other dynamic languages winning through - maintainability and later comprehension. Groovy lets you concentrate on your intent without getting bogged down on the platform specific implementation; it's almost, but not quite, self documenting. I see this as being a huge boon to me when I revisit my current project (which I'll port to Groovy asap) in several years time and to my successors who will inherit it and carry on the good work. So, are there any reasons not to use Groovy?
