How to define different hardware profiles for Win7

I sometimes hook up my laptop to a big screen and regular keyboard and mouse set. The keyboard and the mouse require drivers that I don't want loaded when I'm not using them. Can I tell Win7 to switch between several hardware/drivers profiles?
