Salary of a junior freelancer programmer

Hi,
I'm pursuing my PhD in CS and starting freelancing to pay bills and get some experience.

Since I'm new in the freelancing field, I was wondering how much you would charge for a junior programmer to do some work. Like many, I've started freelancing for website. I'm doing pretty much all the work (design, programming, finding hosting/domain).

I would like to give details to my client in order for them to know how much cost every part involved in website development.

How much should I charge? Charing a hourly rate or a price for the whole project? How you did it and why?
