I've been reading a bit about the i7 chipset and wondered about this x58 architecture. What does that mean exactly? How different is it from x86?

Is there any problem overclocking the Core i7 chip on an x58 mb with you have all 6 memory slots filled? I just heard somewhere that if you want to overclock you should stick to 3 modules? Is there any truth to this?

I just received an ASRock x58 Extreme motherboard, for my post on this question. It was a 2009 Tom's Hardware recommended buy.
It is a Core i7 motherboard, with an X58 Express Chipset. It uses DDR3 RAM.

I just built myself an new workstation and now only 2 of 3 monitors are working. I built the nvidia driver by downloading it and installing with ./Nvidia...
Before when I ran nvidia-settings I saw two GPUs listed but now I only see one.
