Application icons not displayed correctly

Icons

Lately, 7Stacks and Standalone Stacks have been unable to display the icon for any .exe file. They simply show the default icon instead (the white file icon). Rebuilding/fixing the icon cache haven't fixed the problem.

Any ides on how to ? I use Windows 7.
