Windows 7 64 bit will hesitate and the screen will go black

I am running windows 7 64 bit with 2 monitors. Several time a day the system will freeze up for about 5 seconds and the screens will go black. After the 5 seconds are up, the system continues to function properly. I get no error messages that pop up and all the applications I am running handle it fine.

All the devices appear fine, my drivers are up to date and nothing is jumping out at me in event viewer.

What are the next troubleshooting steps I can take?
