I am currently using subversion with visual SVN to manage and host my repo across my local subnet. i.e.

I find it tedious when everytime I need to commit a file.The process goto windows explorer window, right click directory, then click 'Commit'... and then the tortoisesvn commit window.
Anyone know of any shortcut to do this? Maybe press a keyboard shortcut to commit instead of having to right click…

we are going to migrate from CVS to SVN using subversion 1.6. But also we have another SVN-Server using subversion 1.2 (no chance to update). So we plan to use the newer TortoiseSVN 1.6.x
Is it possible to use two different servers while using only the new TortoiseSVN?

I've installed TortoiseSVN on my work Windows XP machine as the administrator. When I login in as a standard user my working copies do not display the overlay icons in Windows Explorer.

I currently use AnkhSVN to integrate subversion into Visual Studio. Is there any reason I should switch to VisualSVN?
AnkhSVN is free (in more than one sense of the word) while VisualSVN costs $50. So right there unless I'm missing some great feature of VisualSVN I don't see any reason to switch.

I have tried to host a Mercurial HG repository using a Scriptalias.
ScriptAlias /hg/ "htdocs/hgwebdir.cgi"
