Is power line communication (PLC) speed affected by mixing different devices?

At home, I have 4 PLC devices for my home network. Two of them are 85 Mb/s PowerLAN PLC adapters, while the others are 10 Mbps PowerLAN PLC adapters. I have not been able to determine reliably whether the presence of the 10 Mb/s ones impact on the speed of the 85 Mb/s ones.

Is it possible that the bitrate is limited by the slowest devices on the network?
