What all to use while developing an e-commerce site in PHP ?

I am planning to launch an e-store and after looking at the current trend/developer community activity and economic viability i have decided to use PHP+MySql for development.
I don't wish to use a CMS as I want more flexibility than they offer .
I am basically a .net Developer and have no prior experience in PHP development and am getting confused as to what IDE to use ?
Should i use a framework(which) ?
