Nvidia GT 240 problem

My Nvidia card GT 240 stops working on windows-7/windows xp. When it stops the screen is disturbed and whole computer halted. (also a continuous sound comes from speaker toonnnnn..). Not sure when exactly it occurs but mostly when i try to play some video in youtube or playing some audio. It works fine in gaming.

I have latest driver installed from nvidea site. Any help? alt text
