Mac - Windows VPN

Hi,

I am trying to setup a secure vpn server (Ipsec l2tp) on windows so I can connect to it using my mobile mac or any other windows pc.

It seems it is quite a hassle to do this.

Does anyone have any good suggestions, maybe a software or open source. Note that I have not yet encountered a piece of ware that can run on both windows and mac. I would ideally prefer a single UI rather than learn two.
