What are the most important programming skills you need to improve as a team Leader or project manager?

I decided to ask this question after I read the valuable answers to the great question What is the single most effective thing you did to improve your programming skills? and after attending Ad Burns "Secrets of a rock star programmer".

It made me think about me and what programming skills I try to improve. I came to realize that there should be a difference in the programming skills you try to improve as developer and the programming skills you should improve as a team leader or project manager.

My question is: What are the most important programming skills you need to improve as a team Leader or project manager? What would you recommend to others that want to improve?
