I have a English major during college and would like to start my career in mobile application development. I know this won't be easy for someone like me who doesn't have a technical background but I have made up my mind and I am committed to learning to code.

What would you recommend to someone who wants to to start learning mobile application development from scratch?

What books or college courses/certificates are required?
