"failed to download package files" in VirtualBox with 11.04 and 11.10

After I installed Ubuntu 11.04/11.10 in VirtualBox in Windows 7, I cannot update any software with the error message "failed to download package files". After having googled, I have tried:

sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get upgrade
changed to another sources

But I still got the same error message. And there is no problem with internet connection as i can connect to internet using Firefox in Ubuntu.

Any ideas?
