Could it be sane to use Windows Server 2012 as desktop

what about using it on desktop? I've got enough strong PC with intel core i7 and 8GB Ram so what should I think about: why not?

Were looking about major differences compared to windows 8, found less.

for example new file system - can it affect me?

In my usual day I need development instruments alike visual studio, virtualization tools, and some games

So far I can't find something that must stop me, everything I need can work (seems like) there.

Tell me why I must not do it or if that is sane to do.
