How to upgrade windows 2008 to 2012

I may seem retarded but I searched internet extensively, also: http://download.microsoft.com/download/0/4/B/04BD0EB1-42FE-488B-919F-3981EF9B2101/WS2012_Licensing-Pricing_Datasheet.pdf

I hve yet to find HOW MUCH is the upgrade and where to buy upgrade licence and if I can upgrade "in place" or not.

I just found that I CAN upgrade from 2008 Web edition to 2012 standard edition but the rest I can not find any info on prices.

Can anybody point me to the right direction, please?
