I have an XPS15 laptop, core i5, 8GB ram.

Whenever I login my laptop I here the startup bongo sound. But my sound system just doesn't play anything, may it be a short audio clip or a movie. Output of lshw -c multimedia is :

Headphones work just fine but there is no sound from the speakers. Is it a bug in multi-media players or ALSA?
