How I disable "Safely remove hardware" in Windows 8?

I have a Marvell 91XX and I just updated to Windows 8. The problem I have with the latest drivers 1.0.2.1027 is the absence of "Policies" tab inside the Properties in the Device Manager, where I could disable de "Safely Remove Hardware".

It was in Windows 7, but in the new version is not, so the OS shows my two hard disks has removable hardware and I can't do anything about it.

Is gone forever? Is in another part? Or is not supported?

PD: The best I can come up for a fix is to roll back to Windows 7, see if the option changes some regedit value, export, update to Windows 8 and import.
